I completely removed nitrogen from her feeding around week 5 so she should use up most of it by harvest and we should see her fading soon Zkittlez Organic Thanx for reading. Will update again in 2 weeks3 points

NikNak or Cheese Curls is a fucken winner! That is the smell. I've only ever smoked one cheese that had that salty cheese curls thing going on. Awesome!2 points

I think the 2 Cheese and Baklava are mixed up, but will confirm. The Cheese I have in my tent, has a big Nik Nak smell already when in week 2. My parter had C19 so wasnt able to see them or smell them myself, and ge cant smell from C19. Haha2 points

Nice work brother. The Cheese looks great. How is she smelling? I have 2 phenos of OSG Cheese in my room now. 6 days since flip.2 points

It is not dust, it is terpenes and trichomes! Imagine chucking terpenes onto your next grow from your last grow? Mmmmm, yum! haha2 points

Cool thanks man, The mix will probably sit for about a month in the tote, Ill probably wet the mix with some microbes and molasses. Then ill let it sit in the pots outside for a while and sprout some cover crops for 2 weeks - a month, then Ill plant .2 points

I still think it's crazy that these are growing in my bedroom! I have some burnt tips, I'm trying to find the right dose of nutes, the BioBizz schedule is a tad strong. Sorting out and learning as I go. A few pictures I've taken this evening2 points

@Golden-Goose How long does the Double Krush normally take to flower (from flip to chop) and what about the Pineapple fields? Wondering how long one can expect to wait for the Pineapple Chem to flower and mature. Would 10 weeks be about right?1 point

That Finalsan sounds good to me, I think I will get some and give it a go. This site: https://winproonline.com/products/finalsan® suggest to wait at least 5 days before planting after spraying. That works for me! Not sure I trust round up all that much.1 point

Yea, I've seen those foam dispensers. Not quite what I'm after, I may decide to order from Amazon if I can't find one locally. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk1 point

First I would need to take pics and will only be at the grow from about 17h30 tonight. I will do that and post pics tomorrow. Not much to see at the moment though as only flipped them 6 days ago. I have a tall pheno and short pheno. Both look promising but so far I'm liking the taller pheno. She kind of reminds me of a Sour Diesel x Big Buddha Cheese I grew out many years ago.1 point

Uhhh I had 2 Salton non oscillating fans, a 30 and a 50cm.. both stopped working within a year. My 40cm oscillating fans from Takealot or Checkers Hyper still run fine, the takealot ones now into their second year non stop running, SCE, paid something around 220-250 per fan. I avoid Salton.. quality of the motors seem to be crap. The fans look like new.. just the motors gave up doing the job.1 point

This is the case. I would open them up and do a clean after every harvest. It's usually the gear that connects to the swing arm that oscillates the fan that gets all fecked, either it loses grip and doesn't oscillate as well anymore, or the motor gets so pup that it can't spin the fan and oscillate at the same time. Okes that don't at least clean the blades of their fans are gross. Imagine chucking dust and kak onto your next grow from your last grow. Nee man.1 point

Ooooh that Cheese looks super nice my man. And some great fade going there. I hope my OSG Cheese turns out like that as well. Well done man1 point

The quality varies between the different brands, a friend recently purchased a small clip on oscillating fan off Takealot and within a month it burnt and tripped the mains. The design was not ideal with the oscillation leading to wear on the power wires. Generally they do not seem to last long and they also do not move much air, they're not cheap either. You can get fans which are known to last longer and move more air for the same price (or less).1 point

Ya I suppose this is unfortunate for some, we cant say for a fact that all these fans will keep working if we make sure alles is shup. Fact of the matter is that in everything we buy today, there will be some duds. Just less chance of early disposal if we play our part, a bit of give and take.1 point

Too true, brother. Before I had a real setup and still played around with household items trying to slap a DIY setup together, I grabbed a safeway desk fan from clicks. probably cheapest one out there. This was probably around 2016 to 2017. It still works today. I ran it for about 2 or 3 months non stop at the beginning, but when I bought a setup I grabbed a combo from futurama and got the fan in question as part of the combo, so I replaced the El-cheapo, but she's sitting in her box ready to go if I need a extra little fan for whatever. I have a friend that went through this recently, arguing with me about his fan being up to shit and is starting to give in now only after one grow, but when I visit him and tell him that he needs to look after his shit, because there is a visible layer of dust building up on the fan and is probably an easy fix then he goes off saying "but I pay for the thing and it should work right all the time" then I just stop trying to help the dude. It's a matter of "as jy nie wil hoor nie moet jy maar voel" but in a financial way1 point

I just bought one from takealot and to my surprise it was a whole R320, they seem to be out of stock now obviously. But this is good info, I was hanging plastic oscillating fans with garden wire (quite a big one at a stage), letting them do their thing and then I notice they started making a funny ticking noise going through the rotation. So I just had a look and saw the mechanism pretty clearly, 2 small sprays of Q20 and that she was brand new, oscillating smooth as silk, still grafting like a bomb. Things do last longer when you look after them. Ill be sure to look after the clippy grippy fan.1 point

Hey bud, so the Standard base would be just shy of 1/3 for base/aeration/compost, I wanted a bit less castings and a bit less coco for lower levels of potassium. Let's see how it results.1 point

My dudes Two or three months of use is really not the normal amount of time for those clip grip fans though, I have 3 going for a year. 1 probably going for 2 years now. After I complete a grow clean my fans properly, last grow I finished was the first time I did a deep clean and ended up opening all of them to get to the dust, it's really really easy to open them up. Take the front off, put your fingers behind the base of the blades around the king pin and push away from the rest of the fan so the blades pop off the pin, take the front screws out then the 2 on the back and there you go, it's open! Look inside the little motor? They're super simple to understand. It's got 3 wires. Positive, negative and a 3rd wire that goes to the speed control. You'll see where they all go, see if they all attached? If not it will take a drop of solder to reattach. See if the little motor isn't just dirty? Can the pin move around freely? Get dust out everywhere you can and put a drop of oil on the pin as it comes out the motor, spin it around a few times and all that. If it still doesn't work.... it's probably fucked1 point

That is quite a mix! How long do you let all that sit before planting in it?1 point

Ok boys, here we are again. Its that lovely UPDATE time. Things has been going very well. They seem to like the soil mix and the added Bloodmeal probably is to thank for that, because they have been fed once in total since planting out. Jacky White She is new to the garden. I still haven't sexed her but she did come from some decent Jacky White bud from last season so I kinda hoping for that female to show in a week or 2. Blue Kush Berry Still on the small side, but thats supposed to be like that I think. With the Shiskaberry gene in there and she should be a smaller tree than the others with a short flowering time. Pineapple Chunk She just loves the morning sun. Her side branches is starting to push out for that all to familiar christmas tree look Banner Biscuits Also another good looking plant. Strong and sturdy. Leaves are big and healthy Slurricane Cheese Really excited about this. Havent had a cheese strain in a while Bruce Banner#3 Short and sturdy. Loving the leaf structure. Also on the shorter side but starting to catch up1 point

Nice brother, you have a decent mix there! You have a lot of Vermiculite there, and a little coco, is that right? Asking only, to understand and or help if possible,1 point

Damn, this company are fueled with movers and shakers, growing fast and providing top notch service. I am so excited about a new development, that I can assure you will happen. Long story short, Quickbuyngrow have decided to support me and a 2 day cannabiz event I am hosting at the end of this month, here in Bathurst. Its going to be wild. And that my friends, is not the big news. I will update soon. Happy growing.1 point

100% The quickest growing plants I have found are ready after week 9, most are ready after week 10 and a few strains requires more than 10 weeks. Generally speaking, the heavy sativa strains require longer. Give it another week or two and you should be good I reckon, but best to continue to monitor the trichomes. Always make sure you check the trichomes on the bud and not on the sugar leaves as they trichomes seem to mature quicker on the sugar leaves and may lead to you harvesting a bit early if you are checking the sugar leaves and not the bud.1 point

I found that most cultivars need at least 10 weeks to mature. My Cheese and White Widow is the only ones I have grown that matured faster.1 point

Here is Pineapple Fields 5 days before the chop. As you can see... she is a big girl. The smell coming off of her is absolutely incredible. Candy/fruit/fuel/haze. Probably one of, if not the greatest smelling plant I've ever come across. I haven't been this excited about a plant in a good while.1 point
