  1. Been about 2 weeks since the last update. Things are coming along! Dinamed 1's buds have fattened up quite a bit. The plant is almost one solid bud now. You'll see in the very close up photo that some trichomes are starting to turn amber and the rest are cloudy. That particular bud is definitely more amber than the others though. The calyxes have swollen up and the pistols have mostly turned brown and retracted. I've started flushing her and plan to harvest within a few days. My only concern is that I maybe left the flush too late (started 5 days ago) and I'm not sure I want the buds to ripen much more given that it's a CBD only strain. Dinamed 2 is very weird. Hardly grew, and started flowering about 3 weeks after germination. All the while, the leaves have been weirdly curled since the start. At first I thought it was overwatering, then underwatering, then ph or low nitrogen. I've kinda given up and just accepted she's a weird one. The two cheese plants have each tripled or so in size since they first showed signs of flowering about a month ago (one week after Dinamed 1). They spent a long time stretching and now seem to be focusing on bud development (and smelling great already :). I removed a few of the big fan leaves - one every few days to minimise stress. I'm really hoping that these will be ready to harvest before xmas. Currently feeding bio-grow (about 0.5ml/l), bio-bloom (about 1.5ml/l) and topmax (about 0.75ml/l) with a little seagrow too. It's funny how as soon as I started feeding with topmax, the red clovers in the pot started getting huge.

  2. Small update, looks like we vegging abit longer for the strawberry sugar cookies (on top) and the ginger tea ( below) the apple Jax got the chop. Not keen on dealing with hermies and it’s most likely the case the dqslurri are doing well, abit slower than usual but I think the hours aren’t doing them any good. So they will be inside with the Jack herer and bubalicious. Going on 12hours today

  3. I have the same Apple Jax cut which is growing beautifully. How would I know that its going to hermie apart from leaving it until it happens? They were growing great bud, I wouldn’t know until they flower and all the way until they finish. but from a basic ratio of the known hermies, I’ve made the decision based on hermie ratio on the pancakes line. Both apple Jax 67% hermies and another reputable grower reporting 80% or so, I thought not waste the time and have gaps in the grow

  4. I love the gear that you stock. You have got a good eye for those hard to get and fire strains. Will definitely want to get some.

  5. Strawberry deluxe moved from towel into pots. They are in a hurry! Should have planted this morning but didnt have time, they were quite long already by this evening. May have pulled the little cap off of one seed trying to free the taproot from the towel. Dumbass. [emoji849] fingers crossed. Not much movement in the Strawberry sugar cookies 2 just yet, will check tomorrow again. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk

  6. Hi folks, So it's been a while since I last posted about my grow but I thought better late than never (and also skipping most of the veg part is more entertaining) This is my 3rd indoor grow and I have learnt a lot from my last 2 grows from fellow forum members. Special shout out to @The Grass Baas @The_StonedTrooper @PsyCLown @Prom @Bay Seeds @Stinger96 @GGG @GreenGrow Garden Route @Weskush for all their guidance and support with the previous grow. I have learnt a lot from you guys and will attempt to apply it with this grow. What went wrong previously? I neglected my plants and encountered the following: - Too much N (nute frequency overall) - Not enough airflow - Not enough defoliation - And a one shoe fits all approach (which doesn't work well with several different strains) What am I doing differently this time round? - Every watering doesn't need to be a feed (let the plant tell you when they need something) - Each strain will have their own frequency of feeding and quantity thereof - Airflow/Circulation is key - Defoliate, defoliate, defoliate... we don't need no nodes stealing energy from the nodes that we want to create into big fat ass nugs - And some IPM for the issues that might catch you off guard So what am I working with for this grow? I decided on a mix of old school variants with some local and international breeders filling the gap. I am running 4 strains of feminised seeds from Old School Genetics courtesy of @Golden-Goose , 2 strains from Motherland Genetics (hope the drama on the photos wasn't an indication of the quality of genetics that they supposedly produce) and lastly some 2 super tasty InHouse strains courtesy of some cuttings from my man @PsyCLown. IPM measures with wood cider vinegar courtesy of @Thrive Strains in play: Old school genetics - White Bubblegum Old school genetics - White Afghan Skunk Old school genetics - Super Silver Haze 98 Old school genetics - OSG Cheese Motherland genetics - Purple Dosidos Motherland genetics - Sunset Sherbet S1 InHouse - Blunicorn InHouse - Jelly Breath Started of with germination on the 28th of September with a 100% germination success rate. I normally go for the 3 topping 8 cola mainline but this time round I decided to do a 2 top manifold mainline which some people call a flux mainline. (Hoping to decrease veg time) I also installed a oscillating fan from the roof of the tent to aid in circulation. Today was the last clean up in the veg cycle and I took clones of each for a buddy to keep for us to see which one we want to keep and work with... I am about 2 weeks from flip to flower and this is the current situation... Here we go with some pictures to tie it up... Seedlings Clones joining the picture Pre clean up White Bubblegum White Afghan Skunk Purple Dosidos Jelly Breath (no before pic taken) Blunicorn Sunset Sherbet Super Silver Haze 98 OSG Cheese Attempt at a level canopy Clones New fan IPM Wood cider vinegar Thank you for reading. I am very excited to see where this grow goes

  7. Sorry for the recent bursts of totally random but very baitworthy threads being thrown out by certain "seed companies"... There is one guy, or bot, that is signing up under a multitude of different seedbank names and trying to get traction by using commonly searched keywords in his topic titles. He's proving to be quite persistent as he continues to sign up under more accounts. Unfortunately we cannot ban his IP as his IP is continually changing as well. Please bare with us as we try to handle him. He should give up eventually. If you spot any suspicious baiting topics please report the topic immediately

  8. I totally get that a lot of people are going to run into problems, but it's the same with the indoor grow offs. I just think the outdoor grow will give more appealing to the average home-grower as they don't really have to put that money into an outdoor grow. Granted they will have to get a 10 pack plant 5 and keep 5 for a back up (a 6 pack will even work) just in case something goes wrong the season is long and will give people a chance to stay in the run ? I mean if you guys plan to do a 2022-2023 outdoor season grow off, I'm sure it'll give you a chance to maybe select a few plants from the cross to make the actual seeds for the grow off

  12. Thank you for the kind words brother. I will be looking to add a fifth breeder to our lineup in the coming months.

  13. Well.. 300 beans at R10 gives you a decent contribution.. I wouls say local genetics on the forum could easily go for R40 a bean that gives you R12000. If I take part again I will pay that easily.. I would also not mind to pay membership fees if it would help the forum.

  14. We have done one, and while it is awesome to see plants grow into trees, it is a long season and outdoors is generally unforgiving. Makes it difficult to judge. If we do an outdoor I'd love to see what that Chocolope NL male of @CreX added to his aurora kush

  17. Hey Guys, I am growing blue dream at the moment and on the site where I bought the seeds it says that flowering is between 7 weeks - 9 weeks. Currently sitting at 7w3d. Here are some pics to look at. Do you guys think the time is close or do I leave it for another week? The plant is getting more and more yellower by the day Cant wait. On a similar note. Just before harvest, is it a good idea to let the plant sit in darkness for a day or two? Cant wait to hear from you.

  18. Good morning Peoples. So its been 3 weeks about. The 2 Apples Jax phenos got me biting my fingernails, I'm going with it and hoping for the best. If they hermie, I will try spot it early and cut them down. @Totemic Sugar cookies growing very well. So is the ginger tea. A bit of Aphid or Thrips pressure but not stressed about it. Hope you enjoy the scroll. The DQxSlurris are looking good, about 3 or so weeks into flower. I'm going to finish them indoors so they get enough dark hours, those along with the 1 of each - Jack herer and Bubalicious females I found. 0 Veggie Garden going well, was late to plant the Chillis and Baby peppers but they finally made into the soil.
