Looks like calcium, even though you adding it you could be locking it out, I'd suggest raising your ph to 6.1-6.2.2 points

Sorry. My mistake, my tap water is also 0.1. So in the interim I added a “deficiency” amount of CalMag (3g per 10l) to the next feed and then reverted back to 1g/10l for the next two feeds (my feeds are 40l at a time in a res which feeds 8 plants via auto pots). I also gave a weak foliar feed with Epsom salts. On average they are collectively sucking up 40l in 2 or 3 days. I’ve also switched to 20/4 now that they are in “pre-flower” and increased my EC to 1,6 consistently. Running GHE / TA at 80%, the balance coming from CalMag or Epsom salts etc. Last night I trimmed off around 10 leaves which were affected. I’ll see how it goes over the next 2 days and if it continues on this plant I’ll give it a good old flush and give her a fresh start.2 points

Thanks for the responses. Clearly I don't know what I'm doing here Guess this is how you learn. Once before I grew a carolina reaper the same way but from seed with great success. (Outside not in a tent) I didnt check the PH, but Im very sure I followed the nutes instructions to the point. The nutrient table is quite comprehensive and give the right amounts for various growth stages. It is the first time I'm using this brand though. Yes the rocks are from my garden and I even had to pick some ants off the plant with tweezers. I will keep it going to see what will happen. In the tent I also have a male plant with the hope that it will pollinate the one in the pic. By the way I have no idea what type plant it is. I got the seeds from someone and simply planted them. This is also just an experiment because I don't know if the light I have is worthy of anything. So if the plant dies its not the end of the world. I have another one outside which is much bigger than this one so it was already stunted from the start. The aim is to try an make this one surpass the healthy one outside. Thanks for the advice ! Lets see what happens.2 points

Sorry, late response, was out of the house. Uhhh Coco.. I have zero experience with Coco related issues. Never had light stress with LEDs.. i usually only add calmag if I see a issue, rest the soil buffers.2 points

Any takers to offer an observation? I think it’s a Calcium deficiency, in spite of adding CalMag to each feed…1 point

I recently got a grow tent and on sunday afternoon I moved one of my plants from outside into my grow tent. The plant used to be in soil. I carefully washed off the soil and placed it in a 20L kratky system.I have 4 x 50watt full spectrum elcheapo lights running on a 18/6 schedule. Since sunday the plant deteriorated, not sure what's wrong. Seeing everything is a new setup, problem can be all over the place. Plant seems wilted and some leaves are yellow and and hard to pluck , they dont come off easily so it does not seem like the usual shedding. any advice?1 point

Outside lady and what I have in the tent By the way why does my signature not show. Is it maybe because I don't have the rep ? I developed my own light controller using an ESP8266 that will manage the light schedule and I have some sensors in the back of the tent that measure lux, temp and humidity and the sensor is linked to an auto generated Image showing the output which I put in my signature. Supposed to look like this. The below is live and its updating every 1 min so when ever you refresh this page the below image will have the latest reading.1 point

Side note: drawback with Auto pots is that one res feeds all plants. It makes sorting out individual plants a bit of a toil. If you have a few different types in the grow then again, toughies if one flowers early or whatever. And it’s not practical to have a res for each pot.1 point

come now! dont be shy we looooove pictures of any and all cannabis plants!! show us your outdoor lady man! you can play it by ear on the inside - but do yourself a favour and read up on the teas for hydro - if you dont need it and i was wrong, then atleast you gained some tips and tricks for the day you do run into trouble - it will be an easy ride to get her big and healthy again! just gotta make sure you have the correct bacteria and fungi in your res. all the ingredients can be be bought locally - where do you reign from ? maybe we can point you to a nearby store1 point

Yeah it’s not really a warranty as such, it’s more like a bad batch which has had so many failures that the manufacturer is happy to just swap out till all the bad ones are out of the system.1 point

if your tap water is 1.0 then you need to consider buying lower EC water or moving to RO water my EC out the tap is 0.11 point

Day 32 of 12/12 This is pheno no.9 I asked the tester to keep a close eye on this one, as I think she has what it takes to be the chosen one. She stands 1.7m tall and is very pineapple smelling.1 point

also to note - those stones you have there - are also contaminated with outside bacteria and fungi and will also cause the downfall of your hydro setup. im not sure what hydro you are running, if its a sterile system or living system if you did not know before, well... now you have a living system lol1 point

I did post this before, But I wasn't happy with the PDF option, so I had capture the page. As I said a while ago, I've got my Soil Test to share, this test is on the soil that is amended along the lines of the soil recipe. Its a diverse mix but has also depleted itself of good/basic structure over the time, will be introducing some aeration of sorts. I would definitely recommend Kaya farms for the soil testing options, I waited about a month or so as there were hiccups, but I gotta commend them on their feedback and time taken to explain the issues, I have a couple things that need to be addressed, but overall quite happy with the results. This was after a re-amend. There is stats on the paste test and the extract test. Some issues I need to look at. - Soluble salts are quite high for after a harvest which he mentioned, but I did say this was after a re-amend, between 1000 - 1500 is fine. - Sodium and chloride need to be leached from the soil. - Phosphorus is not high enough on the paste test, although the extract test says abundance, can be taken with a pinch of salt and not add anymore Phos. - Calcium can be higher - Base cations magnesium and potassium too high, this might be because I add too much worm casting in my original mix - Exchangeable hydrogen very low (have not added aeration in a while or always in the least amount). - Also a small amount of extra nitrogen can be added as well. - Trace elements needing to be brought into balance. Iron, manganese and copper ... he suggested using sulfates to bring these levels up. I am still deciding. The argument is not about keeping it full organic, which it would be if these forms of trace elements are used and a test can provide proof of low levels. Because in actual fact, the main production proof of the most robust systems would be - in a field or greenhouse or living soil, the Co2 loss from the ground because overall its a more intricately connected system. Which the plants breathe in and that births higher productivity. So in essence, the more the plant can photosynthesize, via filling gaps in the chain, this being micro nutrients, the more exudates are pumped out stimulating more microbial growth. At the moment plants are in this soil, so I will not be adding any of these yet. I will be doing a test soon on the big bed and see where those levels are.1 point

Hi Prom, I use TA tri part, Soft water version. Freedom Farms F1. Autopot with air dome. 24/0 light in 1,5m x 1,5m tent. 720w Full spectrum Plus far red. CO2 in sealed room. This is one of 8 plants, the others are ok. This plant only has a few leaves showing this. The affected leaves are in the upper half of the plant. Current NER is for “Growing” and I’ve just today switched to “Pre-flower”. I have found in the past I add 1g CalMag / 10l (which is a maintenance amount) to every nutrient mix. So I might typically mix 40l starting with Si, then it stands for an hour, then CalMag then TA then either Biodyne 401 or H2O2. My EC is always around 1.2 to 1.6. PH ranges between 5.7 and 6.0. My tap water has very low EC, like 1.0. I have heard that powerful LED lights can cause Cal deficiency when coupled with Coco. Not sure of the bro science behind this or the chain of events bringing this about.1 point
