  2. These are some nugs that I left in the bag for about a week. It seems to be working, they are still springy and not too dry, honestly like using a boveda pack. It's been about 2 weeks since this pic, I'll have to check how they are holding up after work. I also still have jars, but they just take up way too much space in my cupboards. If this experiment is successful, I will get rid of them ASAP.

  3. I like the idea of having a constant thread going rather than creating a new thread everytime, so I will be trying to keep most of my stuff under relative topics for now I will start a flower tent log as soon as these ladies move over. finally got the time and space to grow out some of the Deluxe Sugarcane cut I got from a forum member quite a while back. grew her out and made a bunch of clones. originally I was planning on running all DS, but that plan was short lived as I got 2 new cuts before I even had the DS rooted I picked up a Frosted Apricot and a Blueberry Hashplant cut, let's see what we get the small cuts are just backups of all the stuff I got in flower currently

  5. ending the thread off here with a full tent, this was a sort of a little "comeback" for me as I took a bit of a break from growing when I moved. I will create a new thread with the new run and a couple new genetics for me to play with that I am excited about ✌

  6. Did a shave, then a few more trims on Monday and yesterday. Will do another bit of a defol and clean up once I see bud sites form. But for now I'm going to let it do it's thing. Gave a feeding of Anngrow and preflowering phase GHE nutrients, still in the blue spectrum and will change to red once these girls stop stretching. On a side note I am yet to see shemales from the pancake stompers yet.

  8. my schedule has not allowed me to pay full attention here, so I will be passing off this project to a buddy who can never have too many plants. they're sexed and selected. from the 6 x Trainwreck I got 2 keepers. from the 12 Hawaiian Cakes I got 3 keepers. just need bigger pots to make it to end of season or perhaps going straight into the earth to be grown out, not looking at breeding or anything specific anymore. going to be making some extracts with these. I topped the pots with some kak looking compost, just getting some food in the soil, but they'll be repotted soon and the barky shit on top will be discarded. left - HC, right - TW TW 1 - leaves canoeing abit, think it's just heat related. TW 2 - she's small, but we've all heard it can be the stragglers that bring the terps and frost, keeping hopes up HC 1 - all 3 of them stink like someone stepped in dog shit HC 2 - HC 3 -

  10. Hi folks. So it is that very exciting time for me... the flip to flower I am not looking for monster plants but plants that will range from between 60cm to 80cm, from the stem base to highest top, in final height. Also less jungle more airflow This will be more than enough for me to smoke and a focus on nice big nugs with limited popcorn. Over the weekend I did the final clean up for the veg stage and happy with all the nodes staring at the lights. I will probably clean up once or twice in the early stages of flower. So tonight the timer will go to 12/12 and the real fun starts White Bubblegum White Afghan Skunk Purple Dosidos Jelly Breath Blunicorn Sunset Sherbet Super Silver Haze 98 OSG Cheese Tent view

  11. Doesn't really take the moron out of the sentence.. there are a lot people born on the 20th April.. and none of those killed millions of people because it fit into their plans. Nothing Hitler did needs to be remembered, except the atrocities committed.. sorry, have absolutely no good sentiment for that piece of shit.. i stick to it.. seeking attention.. is the only reason for such a name. There is NOTHING good coming from that name.. why in heavens name use it for a weed strain??? Next we get Anthrax, Ebola or some other mass murderers for strain names, which bring and brought pain, suffering and death to this world.. Stalin and Mao Tse-tung would be still up for grabs... sorry.. not helping with names like that. Is about the last plant I would put in my Mother tent.. really, the last plant... and just because some douche bag thought is a funny name for a weed strain.. no, it isn't! Point!

  13. Sounds about right. All of this sounds like marketing hype to me. The story I understand from a respected cannabis grower and horticulturist is the original "hitler" was stolen in flower form, renamed. Around the time of when people say it was reaching market was the time a big bust happened in CT. The original was Elvis x CT Exodus cheese, the guy who originally grew it was not a breeder, no clones. Happy hunting unicorns. Shitty name too for 6000000 reasons. That narrows it down.

  14. I also have some Groveloc bags, still very curious s to how they actually work and ensure the humidity stays in a specific zone. I do not trust them 100%, so I stick the bud inside the bags with a boveda just incase. I also got a larger one, so then I can stick different strains into ziplock bags, leave the zip part open and put them all into the groveloc bag with a boveda for easier storage than multiple jars. I still have jars though. The Groveloc bags also helps contain the smell.

  15. Yes man! Works perfectly. Just be careful if using the big Wicket bags to not puncture the bag with rogue sticks/stems. This will defeat the whole purpose of the bag regulating humidity. Will definitely use them again.

  16. I have found that the sweet spot for my best cured weed has been 6 months, this also correlates with the majority of research I have picked up. The weed us fully decarbed, the THC has not started deteriorating yet, and the bud is super smooth. Only problem is harvesting enough weed that I can cure for long enough!
    1 point
  17. I have 20 months cured weed in jars. Is a different world of smoothness. We made a few curing experiments, 2 weeks, 2 months, 5 months, 9 months, 18 months. After those curing times the weed clearly changed in flavors too, beside getting smoother and smoother to smoke. After 9 months THC starts to slowly decompose, but still hits you very hard. Very little left of the 20 months cured amnesia haze but smell and smoke is just top class.

  18. Happy to announce that my plant has recovered but I do t know which of the following helped: dropped light to 20/4; gave a “deficiency dose” via autopots at 3g per 10litres, upped my EC on average by 0,5. I suspect it was me starving the plant during a stretch period from Veg to PreFlower.

  19. I say the same, and fully agree, you can mess up the whole grow, months worth of work, by drying it wrong. Slow and low, the best way, 2 weeks minimum at 18deg or lower

  20. Just wanted to give some input here, as there's a lot of misinformation about Hitler and a lot of it is still kept very close to the circle that it originated from. I want to share some information without pissing anybody off, because the reality is that the grower who supplied most of the country doesn't want the lineage out there, understandably so, sometimes these things are worth holding close. But the short of it, is that it's likely a clone-only pheno which is held by a couple of people at most. There's been a lot of fake Hitler cuts sold and some people are still convinced they have it when they don't. I've handled a fair bit of Hitler through friends who were getting supply directly from the grower for bulk resale, and it's quite a unique flower that is easy to identify, both visually and just by the taste profile. Having smoked a 20+ grams myself, I can't say there's anything in there to suggest Cheese. Structurally, the bud resembles a lot of OG cuts, and I'd venture to guess that it's an OG hybrid. The terpenes also seem to suggest it with earthy, lime, gassy notes mostly prevalent. Again, structurally it looks a lot like OG, or even perhaps an OG x Cookies cut as there is a resemblance to some Animal Cookies phenos, and the level of trichome coverage and smaller nug size is a little atypical for most OG cuts. A buddy moved several hundred Gs of it also seemed to think it was likely an OG dominant cut as well. Smoking some Hitler hash rosin from the grower, it also seemed to carry those same muted, earthy, lime notes. Again, I've heard at least 10 versions of what Hitler is. But I think there's probably only a handful of people that know the answer to that. This type of thing is common in America, where cuts are found from seed and then renamed for marketing purposes and also sometimes to conceal lineage. Once lineage is out there, others can try and refind the pheno and take a chunk of the market for themselves. So the way Hitler was handled, was definitely very smart from a business sense. But also incredibly frustrating for those of us who love digging into lines and seeing which traits come from where. Here's an image of one of the first batches of Hitler that hit the market here around Cape Town circa late 2018 / early 2019. Just to close, I'm no authority on the details of Hitler and I respect the desire for the lineage to remain hidden, but these are just my thoughts from smoking a fair bit of it.

  21. freakshow Zweet Inzanity Getting cut up for clones pretty soon. Ordered an aero cloner to speed up the process. Pineapple Express from fastbuds getting SV pollen. Upstairs the SV'S are getting mature and we started havesting a few. Putting Anastasia 99 regular auto seeds in the spots that open up. @TotemicGhost Train haze x Slurricane The purple plants look great, keeping clones. But the green pheno is much stronger and has something special, its terp profile is pure gas, like burnt rubber, pig farm, pig shit tipe smell. Very impressed. You can smelll that it will cure out very nice.

  22. Been enjoying all the different flavours! Flower tent is filled up again, all clones from previous batch. Just installed the net, tucked a few tops and moved a few branches around. About to flip these girls maybe give it a few more days, though I will not be documenting this batch. Got a couple clones in the veg tent, they're all going to new homes soon. My focus is on the Deluxe Sugarcane cuttings inside of the dome on the heat mat. Got a cutting from a forum member a while back, grew her out a bit and made a few cuts for my next batch. Will be documenting the DS grow when they take off

  23. Final tally and a small report, better late than never as they say I stand quite firm on only smoking the bud once reached 62% RH inside the jars, sometimes this happens before 5 weeks of cure, in that case I will wait out the 5 weeks before smoking and if 5 weeks have passed and I am not on 62% yet I leave the buds out for 24hrs and back in the jar for 24hrs and repeat till 62% before first smoke. Zkittle 3 I have not smoked yet, so only looks and smell report there. ZKITTLE #1 - Just by the looks of it, I would say this pheno is 60%Indica leaning and 40%Sativa. Whole plant was quite dense, but the buds grew quite long, not too dense and there's a sativa terpene overtone that cannot be overlooked. Smoke taste gets better and the effects get stronger every day still. Very quickly reminded of its indica properties once smoked, can feel quite a body melt set in and muscles relax, mind goes void of all thoughts. calming and relaxing effect. This plant made a 10.98g bud. YIELD = 69g ZKITTLE #2 - Here we have an even more Indica leaning pheno, I would say around 70%Indica and 30%Sativa. Much smaller plant and buds, smell is more diesel dankness than her sister, but still got that sour sweetness to it that kinda rings that Zkittle bell, when I open the jars my mouth salivates like when you're about to eat some sour sweets, just like when you got a bunch of zkittles in your mouth. Effects are mostly indica-like, because of the lack of limonene and sativa associated terpenes my mind does not get tricked into thinking it has energy at all, so yeah mostly a relaxer this one. YIELD = 67g ZKITTLE #3 - I like this one the best out of the 3 phenos. I am not for conventional bag appeal, to me this bud looks damn good. I don't want a super dense bud that indicates a lot of indica genes. This pheno looks around 30%Indica and 70%Sativa. Plant was a stretcher, tallest of the bunch, she also turned a little purple which I am not the biggest fan of, but it suits her. she made long thin buds, I thought she was gona yield the least of the 3 phenos because of how she looked, but typical to how they are the sativa leaning plant yielded more than the indica leaning varieties. The smell is pure zkittles, sweet sour uplifting refreshing smell coming from her tricking my mind even further into thinking I got a heap of energy. No smoke and effect report yet. YIELD = 84g SOUR LEMON OG - What can I say, I fell inlove the day I chopped her down, got hit in the face with a smell of lemons that makes my nose run. Opens up the airways! Really proud of this plant, I was looking for something with a little zest and she provided!!! For a sativa dominant strain she grew quite small, but true to their behaviour the buds never got too dense. The smoke taste and effect is something to write home about, earthy undertone with a citrus powerpunch overtone, my eyes widen when I smoke her and I certainly feel awake for the first 4 to 6 hours after smoking, if that's my mind being tricked cauze I like the strain so much or if it really is the sativa traits, I wouldn't be able to say. but I LOVE this strain. YIELD = 73g BANANA HAMMOCK - The hard hitter in my stable at the moment! Very strong indica here, couple nights ago during the week I woke up in the living room at a random time past midnight with half a joint next to my hand. Had to try and remember when I even lit the thing, next morning I almost overslept. Smell and taste is exactly alike, creamy vanilla ice cream with a hidden fruity tone, might still come out over time hopefully as I am not toooo fond of the creamy smell... think the purple has something to do with it. Tried getting a good photo, but my photography skills are non existent so none of the shots I got does the flower justice, so I took a few Probably need better equipment too. YIELD = 63g There is just about 10g mix of all the plants' larfy popcorn buds that I will put with the 40g of sugar leaf, gona make some dry sift the old school Afghani way. TOTAL YIELD = 365g smokable buds LIGHT TRUE WATT = 310w 140L root space, FF premium classic living soil, biobizz organic nutrients with few organic amendments here and there, 1m x 1m x 2m flower space, canopy started 15cm from pot and highest point of the canopy reached 45cm from the pot. Now time to push those numbers! This is already an improvement on my previous grow and I have to say with the little over 1g a watt (I know that doesn't mean cery much) I am quite the happy camper always room for more improvement and room to grow is endless.

  24. Zkittle#3 last lady in the tent now. Seems this pheno will be making smaller buds than her sisters. I've noticed a lot of cases same genetics making smaller buds when they're more resinous, but this does not seem to be the case here, although I have to mention that she stinks waaaaayy better than her sisters, getting the closest to a true zkittle smell from her out of the 3 phenos. I am already seeing 50% milky trichomes (which I like) but no amber trichomes inside the buds yet (so no chop yet) I am allowing another 2 weeks max (hopefully she puts on a little weight) after 2 weeks still not getting amber and buds still same size she will get the chop nonetheless. I would've assumed the cold will push her to finish quicker, but maybe it's too cold and slowing things down a bit. seeing as she's the only one in the tent I'll give her 24 to 48hr dark periods during the last week to see if I can help the final push and help with trichome ripeness. I have to say I am more excited to get this space all cleaned out and filled up again with the next run than I about the bounty of the current grow.

  25. I think you might be onto something here... A "special collection" range to be released by a breeder, the strains named after deadly viruses, compounds or people who committed some serious crimes / offenses. It would certainly have appeal to some people. lol Imagine a strain called Ebola or Anthrax. "Hey man, pass me some of that Anthrax to put in the grinder" "I had some Ebola last night, knocked me the fuck out!" "That Stalin was really good, I need to get some more!" I agree, there are better names for weed strains.

  26. not sure why weed has to carry the name of a war criminal. To me smoking and relaxing has nothing in common with what ever violent background, the least war. Some moron seeking attention... is my opinion to that weeds name

  27. Banana 1 week hanging, storage room goes dark, rh50-60%, temperatures in there go from 17 to 25°C Canopy now, the banana took quite a lot of space Zkittle 1, signs of fade coming on with a bit of nute burn Zkittle 2, quite a bit of fade on lower part of plant already, haven't looked at trichomes, will probably do so during the week. Zkittle 3, absolutely no fade yet, instead she's turning a little purple and like I said, small buds but best smells coming from her out of the 3. Super Lemon OG, also started to fade over the weekend.

  28. The buds - The one - 36g The other one - 67g I live near the ocean and all the sand is white beach sand with just enough minerals to feed the indiginous flora really and a few other real prolific plants, such as cannabis. I have a bedding that's composted about 30cm deep and I've added about 5 or 6 layers of compost over the last 2 years or so. Just to keep the garden alive really, have grown these two plants with no other ferts than whats in the compost and just water from the hose. They turned a bit yellow and then one day the leaves started to die back, there was nothing I could have done to save them, or well the one more so than the other, but I chopped both. They smell fucking amazing, almost sour fruity kinda smells, hard to describe they still curing and it's still changing. Anyway, this grow is done! Wish I could've pushed the flowers a little more! Will fertilize the soil a bit better and pop few more seed when the time is right.
