That's quite a claim. With all due respect, being a respected grower means little when it comes to this topic. The guy who was growing and selling Hitler to the Cape and across country isn't some enigma, he is (was more so) well known in the Instagram community and was posting the flower long before and after the market hype reached peak. He is one of the biggest suppliers of high quality indoor to the Boland area, and responsible for a lot of the strains that took off here. If it were stolen flower, there would not have been 2-3 years of Hitler on the market, and I've had the flower at varying levels of freshness between 2019 and 2021. I am also not at all sold on that lineage, as I never got any expression of Exo in the flower. What's far more likely is that someone else started selling flower renamed as fake Hitler, which no doubt happened in some areas. Especially since I saw people buying clones of Hitler. I've heard every story in the book from people on Hitler, guys in Jozi have their own version, guys in Durban have their stories... But for locals, it's really not as mysterious - the lineage perhaps, but not the source. I don't think anyone will really know the whole truth outside of the collective that it came from, but claims that it was stolen flower is nonsense. Given that this same grower is very well known locally to those who move big numbers, and he has supplied a LOT more than just Hitler over the years. I also have evidence of this. Here's a screenshot of a video my buddy sent me last year of an old Hitler nug from his previous stock that he held onto (2019 - left) compared with some of the newer stock (2020 - right). You can see how much of the THC has converted to CBN already on the left nug, while the right is clearly fresh. There were dudes out there getting charged R250 a gram, when the local prices were R160. It just goes to show how many hands it went through, and how many false narratives probably got pushed in the process.

I went and got a jewelers loupe. Can see them nicely now. There is definitely some amber popping up on the bud, not sugar leaves, bud itself. This is why I'm thinking it's chop time soon. Today is day 54 in flower. Week 8. Biobizz schedule has flush down at week 9 and harvest at week 10 (obviously I know this is merely a guideline). I will have to try taking photos with the loupe and update here.

Sorry to chip in but i will also vouch for OSG. This White Afghan Skunk isn't a super fast grower but she has strong branching with a potent Skunk odour already. 7 weeks from germination.

check the trichomes with your phone, i was very jealous at the level of zoom you can do with your phone man hahaha. do you know the day of flower they are in? you could probably take these to day 65 or 70, depending on what the trichomes say

I'm very excited to see what you pull out of the hat. Nice work so far bud. I usually remove all branches from the bottom half of my plants, but I grow big plants. I'm not sure how safe it would be to remove 50% plant material from smaller plants. Still... lollipopping is a great way to ensure nice big buds with minimal popcorn. I don't think it increases yield, but it definitely increases usable yield. Good luck brother!

There doesn't seem to be much fade going on here . On 1 of the plants There have been a few leaves going yellow daily and I guessed this was because I dropped nute doses about 2 weeks ago. I thought maybe the "fade" would start during flush. Nute burn has stopped now since lowering nute doses.

Sugar leaves are going amber, I was trying to get it across that I checked the bud itself and not the leaves . Obviously a lot more on the leaves than the bud itself.

I wouldn't worry to much about flushing tbh.

Looking at your pics, I can see the vigour! They are beautiful. I've decided to start growing more OSG gear going forward. I've started with OSG cheese, but got my tester to drop all 22 beans of Jamaican Wedding as well. (Wedding Cake x Jamaican Blueberry x Red Khyber) I can't wait to see what those bring. I will be keeping an eye on your plants, as I might pick my next strain from your lineup.

100% with you on that notion man. I will probably aim for like bottom 30 to 40% to be cleaned up to try and get those nice lollipops. I have to be honest these OSG strains are really impressive hardy plants. Took to training like champs and also solid growth rate. I am now just waiting for your black Friday run then I will add a couple more strains to the collection

I'm not going to lie I don't really practice flushing, depending how the season goes if it rains at the right time my plants just do their thing and fade. I see you've overfed them a bit so that's the only reason I'm saying use just water.

Did a shave, then a few more trims on Monday and yesterday. Will do another bit of a defol and clean up once I see bud sites form. But for now I'm going to let it do it's thing. Gave a feeding of Anngrow and preflowering phase GHE nutrients, still in the blue spectrum and will change to red once these girls stop stretching. On a side note I am yet to see shemales from the pancake stompers yet.

Hi folks. So it is that very exciting time for me... the flip to flower I am not looking for monster plants but plants that will range from between 60cm to 80cm, from the stem base to highest top, in final height. Also less jungle more airflow This will be more than enough for me to smoke and a focus on nice big nugs with limited popcorn. Over the weekend I did the final clean up for the veg stage and happy with all the nodes staring at the lights. I will probably clean up once or twice in the early stages of flower. Aw man! I'm actually bummed I didn't see this before the time. Would have been awesome to meet up. I had the honour of being able to perform there, was on at lunch time Saturday. It was so rad! . I really wanted to listen in on all the talks and debates but didn't manage to get much in being involved stage side. Was a really cool expo and hoping to be involved in the Cape Town expo early next year

Morning folks. So the clean up worked wonders and the plants have recovered exceptionally well. So much so that I will probably do a couple more clean ups maybe once before flip and once or twice in the early stages of flower. Each plant is already expressing the own unique smell and I can't wait for the flower power to push through. I will probably flip within the next week or two at the most.
