No stress brother. Will post better pics as she matures. Myself and @John Stonedwell are growing from the same batch and mine seems to express more Sativa characteristics. Kinda stretchy but not in a Durban Poison way and very strong branching with narrowish leaves. The dark green colouring is most probably from my very rich living soil but the plants seem to thrive in it. Shot1 point

CreX what alchemy is this? [emoji6] I’m looking up Ca EDTA and this is what I get, looks like it’s for human consumption? Is this the right stuff? Then what’s Spliff 1 and Spliff 2? And Duo? Thanks CreX.1 point

First! where did you hear that plants dont need calcuim in flower? its vital that they get their calcuim in flower mate!! my feed program is the same as yours mostly though. 1. Silica 8ml per 40L bucket; 2. Mix and stand for 60 seconds 3. Ca EDTA - 3g per 40L 4. Epsom Salts - 3g per 40L 5. Spliff 1 if veg or spliff 2&3 for flower - 20g per 40L 6. Duo - 5g 7. Ph down - 2ml per 40L so i have no issue adding epsom in that value, its about a flat teaspoon ..maybe a bit raised. you can go the @iGrowDagga route and foliar epsom every day which also seems to work quite well.1 point

Day 29 12/12. Those damn spider mites. Spotted some on a section of the plant so snipped all contaminated branches and leaves and gave a good dose of Biogro bioneem. Then what looks like a nitrogen deficiency. Some Epson salts added to the last watering while I figure out what to do. Other than that I'm pretty chuffed with my first attempt at using a net.1 point

yeah that might be too fine, the picture I posted was just to give a visual representation of what I am talking about, if you click the link you'll see it takes you to the page with all the options from 32T all the way up to 120T. you can choose a less finer one, though I wouldn't say the 120T is too fine, you'll just have less contaminants fall through than with a less finer mesh, giving you higher quality resin head isolation. the ideal thing to do would be to get multiple different screens. don't know if you've seen any of mr.Canuks content on youtube? here is a good video for you to watch right now then I would also recommend checking out this guys videos on youtube, check his whole channel, you'll learn a lot about dry sifting and solventless hash from mark the bubble man. https://youtube.com/c/BCbubbleman1 point

CreX how do you feed Epsom Salts, how much and how frequently? Mostly it seems to be used as a foliar feed during veg, not much info out there on how to apply it in a reservoir. I also couldn’t find out when to add it into the mix, before or after the GHE nutes?, before or after pH’ing? Typically if I want to add CalMag, Silica, and say H2O2, I run as follows: 1. Silica 8ml per 20l bucket; 2. Mix and stand for 1hr 3. Calamag low dose 2g granular/20l 4. Micro (all GHE at 70-80% if I use CalMag and Silica) 5. Gro 6. Bloom 7. Ph down (over 2ml when using Silica!) to achieve pH btwn 5.7 and 6.0 8. Dilute H2O2 3% at 1ml/l or Biodyne 401 So if I want to feed Epsom Salts instead of say Si and CalMag (as I’m led to believe in Flower the plants no longer require extra Calcium) where in the mix and at what quantities? I’m using food grade Epsom salts in fine granular form. Thanks1 point

@Naughty.Psychonaut Ah! Thanks for the input, dude . Definitely adds a few other options for me. I came across those round baking "sieves" last night and thought it could work. It was a cheaper alternative if I'm remembering correctly. The first option you have here, which you say you would go for, is down at 44 microns. That's super fine. Not too fine, maybe? I found the following site for the mesh, and seems like a good option to me: https://www.happyfish.co.za/products/30x20cm-stainless-steel-woven-wire-filtration-grill-sheet-filter-200-mesh?_pos=1&_sid=3b889bdb6&_ss=r&variant=39881602269368 200 mesh which is about 74 micron. 300x200mm is a decent enough size I'd say?1 point

Aweh gromies, We've had some hectic weather the past weeks, sure most of SA experienced some dodgy weather judging by social media. Had some issues getting things started, despite the weather. These young ones are actually the 3rd attempt.... got nailed every time by some effing vegetarian critter. Running some of my own crosses from last season. The sativa dominant strains just handle our heat and humidity better. They're freshly transplanted into 9lt bags untill sexing, then onto their final homes-30-60lts. 1. Fruitpunch F5 and F2 Lemon Fire WWxMango Bubblegum. 2-3. Purple Bud x Swazi ladies Growing out 2 pheno's of this cross, a sativa and indica dominant. The sativa is the favorite so far, good spacing and stretch, strong lemon, citrussy scent, can barely touch the plant and its lemonzest all over. Will let the indica run its course out of curiosity, but hopes are fading for her. Got a dash of spidermite but biogrow will sort that. 4-7. While the ladies are doing their thing we got some other stuff going. Healthy living and good eating. Managed well over 20kgs of tomatoes and a few more on the various 'cherry' varieties.1 point

Sorry to chip in but i will also vouch for OSG. This White Afghan Skunk isn't a super fast grower but she has strong branching with a potent Skunk odour already. 7 weeks from germination.1 point

What's weeding growmies This one's a bit of a late update this time and really not much to show but here we got the ladies in week 4 & 5 and finally we can see a side by side of a Zkittlez grown in organic and Zkittlez synthetic Zkittlez Synthetic She did seem abit green didn't she? I completely removed nitrogen from her feeding around week 5 so she should use up most of it by harvest and we should see her fading soon Zkittlez Organic Thanx for reading. Will update again in 2 weeks1 point

freakshow Zweet Inzanity Getting cut up for clones pretty soon. Ordered an aero cloner to speed up the process. Pineapple Express from fastbuds getting SV pollen. Upstairs the SV'S are getting mature and we started havesting a few. Putting Anastasia 99 regular auto seeds in the spots that open up. @TotemicGhost Train haze x Slurricane The purple plants look great, keeping clones. But the green pheno is much stronger and has something special, its terp profile is pure gas, like burnt rubber, pig farm, pig shit tipe smell. Very impressed. You can smelll that it will cure out very nice.1 point

A few changes to report on: Plants have moved to their final pots. Was quite a job but I'm glad with how smoothly it all went. So pots...we are all here for the pot right? 200L and 100L: Started with a layer of 3 different stones. Next - river sand. Wet it down and aim to remove the air pockets between the stones and sand. Next - an orgy of Orgasoilux and mycoroot Next - lift up the plants in their existing pots and give it a slight bear-hug to loosen to sides. Tilt it to pour out any loose soil/material. Using one hand to support the stem, flip it over and get a friendly helper to come pull the pot off. Gently place plant in new pot. Currently 1m from soil surface There is a spotlight which points I'm their direction that I have been running until around 9pm/10pm every night to try avoid any preflowering but despite that... here we are...pistils. A little reveg won't hurt... right? I've been using Jamie's Orgasoilux pretty much since I started growing but have finally taken the plunge to try his nutes and rooibos mulch - because science says I must fuck around and find out. Feeding according to Jamie's Organic Liquid feeding programme - Organic Liquid Feeding Program.pdf Wurmbosch's Vermi Pure for dessert.1 point

Duck Auto by Dutch passion doing ok, spraying her daily with 42ppm colloidal silver instead of sts. If I get one seed of her i would be happy. The Darkstars didnt respond well to going into new soil, moved them to a cooler part of the garden. As long as I can keep them alive I will be happy. 3 x chocolate gelato by totemic - 1 x triple cheese by barney's farm - 1 x critical orange punch by dutch passion. Not doing well but surviving. Miracle alien cookies Zweet inzanity The big one is the random seed, probably a chocolate gelato hybrid Upstairs the SV's are doing well, not sure about that tall one, its not auto. Strawberry cheesecake auto. More SV's two weeks behind the other 3 pots. Freakshow, 2 x SV auto, 1 x pineapple express auto getting Sv pollen.. Started working on the new retail packs. Jade alien auto = lemon larry og from seedsman crossed with Strawberry vostok auto - SV Anastasia 99 auto = cinderella jack by dutch passion crossed with SV Jessica rabbit auto= strawberry cheesecake auto crossed with SV1 point
