  2. Almost at my second auto harvest of the season and all the photos are still in veg. Next year its 100% autos, they just finish better. All these pots were collected from chicken coop 4 weeks ago and we waited for all the seeds from the chicken feed to germinate first. Hope the new seedlings dont burn.

  4. Totally in agreement. The OSG gear is really on point and I am quite impressed with the Motherland genetics as well, even though they had that little bit of a hoo-ha. Inhouse just being Inhouse and knocking the socks off...

  6. I will never go back to bagged soil after making my own soil and seeing the great results so far. I used Subcool's super soil recipe and it is fire. Here is a link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/13ivnUXwCGqASKO_5LNhY1r8PSdheVMlG/view?usp=drivesdk

  7. Good day and a well day to all you garden people of SA. I wanted some variety to smoke and I thought it would be good to see how the soil works with different genetics, so I’ve decided to grow these plants in the soil mixed and partially assimilated above, now the new homes of GG #4 Sherbet crasher Animal cookies Quattro kush and one Jelly bean outside to flower i must make a note and inform all that of the 60l of soil above, +- 30 have been added so a third of used soil from the dqxslurri, The soil might need some help towards the end but in all likely hood not as the worn out soil was pretty much on balance with a lack of calcium. This was solely because I wanted a new home for all genetics, and with the short veg time the plants will do well in something less nutrient dense, however, plants would do fine in 100% concentration, but then the ideal situation would require a longer veg, which won’t be the case as we will be flipping in 2 weeks or so I let this soil sit for 2 1/2 weeks in total. the plants were needing the repot.

  10. What he said depends on what effects you're after though. Like for me and the effect I'm after I probably wouldn't wait too long on the amber, I'll harvest if I see mostly white and as little clear as possible but that normally comes with some amber here and there, exactly as @Weskush said Also, send us some shots of the whole plant and buds. For me trichomes are the last thing I look at. First signals are pistils that have mostly turned brown/orange, there will just be an overall mature look to the plants. I only start to look at trichs when I see that. But then again, some strains could throw you a curve ball...

  11. Those dark patches is brown burn marks. Its been hot like a mofo here for a few days with no wind so maybe. If it is oh related it might be due to the fact that they have broken out into mother earth. Maybe they encountered some ph issues there. I'll keep an eye on her Thanx for reply

  13. Yes to reduce stress, infact there's no rule to topping, you can top as early as you see the first nodes, but it's common for seedlings to take a long time to recover if done to early and in some cases I've seen seedlings get stunted to a halt completely. 5/6 nodes or even at a later stage eliminates the recovery time and almost never stunts the plant to a degree you might aswel replace it, I just don't worry much about topping early as I used 2. Mostly because I only do it once in the plants life so I just let it grow until I'm comfortable to top as much as I need or FIM that one time. The rest is multiple supper croppings

  15. Hi folks Currently day 52 of flower and now I totally understand why people run carbon filters. I don't have one and our whole house smells like a terp fueled garden I have started adding some Biobizz Top Max to see if we can increase the bud size but overall I am content and happy with how they are already. The SSH is quite unique in its tricome development. It really glistens like diamonds and aren't as tightly spaced like the rest of the ladies, I am excited to see how she will progress. I will start monitoring the tricome development on the ladies to see how close we are to the chop. 16. I decided to give the trimmed bud a weigh-in before I start taking cheeky samples. First bud of the year comes in at 87g of ZxP. I am going to update the original post with the dates of harvest as well as the weight per harvest as we go throughout the year.
