  1. My best grows were ones I posted up here, and while recent grows were ok, I know I can do better. Seeds are a mixed bag of leftovers and freebies. 3x Caramelino by Victory seeds. 3x Special Crystal Haze fb from biltong&budz. 3x Trump’s cookie jar by President seeds. I am slightly reluctant to post this before the seeds have actually popped, as always, pre-pop anxiety.

  6. Veg tent update. I have taken 6 clones of the Wedding Cake mother. I made sure to take some chonkier clones this time around and I left a little bit more foliage on them. I also gave the Jiffy pellets a little squeeze to reduce the amount of water in them. The KmintZ plants seem to have sprung back from their deficiency. The marks of the deficiency are still faintly visible but the new growth and the overall health of the plants are much better. I also potted them up into slightly bigger pots as they were getting really thirsty, I was beginning to water them nearly everyday. I still have four ZxP clones taking their time to root, followed by another 6 in the center propagator. Please, clone gods...just, please give me a chance.

  7. He is pissed because he has zero leverage. I think he was hoping Ngannou would lose.

  8. How pissed is Dana though. He didn't even put the belt around Ngannou and he also skipped the entire post-conference. He is one with the salt.

  9. I agree @Ill_Evan. It should have been a draw just like their first fight, and Moreno keeps the belt. I never would have guessed that Ngannou was going to win by decision. The odds were +1200. Would have made biiiiiig money if a person bet on that. Was a cool card none the less.

  11. Ngannou has one more fight in his contract which he has one year to schedule. He will probably first fix his knee and defend his title against either Jon Jones or Stipe Miocic at the end of the year. I don't see Gane getting the rematch. The negotiation is going to cost Dana because if he doesn't cough up what Ngannou thinks he deserves, it will be a major dent to the credibility of the UFC. This is why I think Dana would have preferred Ngannou to have lost, because then he wouldn't be obliged to another fight. Next big fight I'm looking forward to from here is Adesanya vs Whittaker 2.

  12. Aw damn, 1 for 2. Although I was sure Moreno won, even via points. In my opinion the challenger to a championship match needs to convincingly defeat the champion in order to secure the victory. I have a feeling the judges were told to give the belt to Figueredo if the match looked 50/50 at the end because daddy Dana wants to cash in on the trilogy, because obviously now there's a rematch. Ngannou with the jitsu was pretty nuts, and those takedowns! Super good.

  15. hey bud, hope you are well. so you're on 12/12, when the tent is dark inside there are no light leaks or plugs with lights on them inside the tent? 12hrs dark needs to be completely dark. like black out dark. even if so, you wont be seeing buds for a while still. if you want to catch those very very first signs of flowers you have to get real close and take a look at the nodes. you'll see something called pistils. these are your first signs of flowers, but it will be quite a while still before buds start forming. if you have everything in check and on point, a thing to consider, longer flower cycles indicate Sativa growth charactaristics and some strains can still 'veg' or 'pre-flower stretch' after you switched light cycle for up to 6 weeks before first pistils. very few strains do this, but it's not impossible. I throw a few photos up so you know what to look for

  17. Just bent the tent. Up potted and defoliated first. Gonna veg for a couple weeks, clone and flip to flower. Bought my Mammoth tent 2nd hand and noticed the rust on bottom polls. Gave them a thorough clean 6 months ago, but reckon it's time to replace after this grow. May take a shot at another cleaning but reseal it as well. Cultivars are not in order: Frosted Apricots - In House Genetics Terple - In-House Genetics Tart Pops - In House Genetics GG4 - GG Strains Running a 240w Quantum board from Light It Up for veg and Fluence Vypr for flower. Freedom Farms Classic, Terra Aquatica Pro Organic, Cal Mag, and occasional worm tea or FFJ. Trying floraflex spreader things for the first time. Optimistic. Slows down the waterings/run-off and should help mulch the top too. Predator mites arrive in a couple weeks. Get a feeling that the In-House isn't going to yield much. Growing Bannizle and Blue Dreamsicle next.

  20. What I do: (first it's important to know the difference between the fan leaves that drive the overall growth, and the leaves at bud/future bud sites. (Usually very small or non-existant at the time of defoliation) [I snip with scissors or just pluck with fingernails (smaller leaves), at the base-ish part of the stem] I usually gradually strip the majority of the big, fat, fan leaves before/during pre-flower (first to go are the ones at the top, I may leave lower ones if they're not in the way, or impeding airflow, but lately they eventually are all removed). As the branches stretch during pre-flower/early flower, I constantly remove any fan leaves that are shading lower areas in a meaningful way. I prioritise airflow/light. I continue this general practise until they have finished stretching. Even then I continue to defoliate, in an even/uniform manner. Each day I'm looking for leaves that are creating little pockets of moisture/dead airflow/significant shade.

  21. Can you explain how you defoliate and still manage full buds? I feel like my defol technique is stopping the bud from developing into a long uniform bud. Do you pull of leaves by the stem or just snip them off leaving a small part on the plant? Thanks Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk

  23. Probably should have spread the canopy apart earlier, but hey, I'm learning. I think a good scrog net is a better idea, but this unknown plant is SO strong. Must get some good genetics to grow. By working around their existing PCB electrical layout, I managed to create a design that spreads the light out far more evenly to the edges (reduced centre hotspot, and can be hung lower, minimising reflective losses). Final LED count up from 528 to 536pcs. New, more robust hinges and end caps. Driver can be mounted on the bars, or outside the tent with included extension cord. The rotating aluminium feet on the driver also help sink heat, and provide a stable, elevated mount for the top of the tent, or easy mounting on the wall. Now if only the global supply chain could return to some degree of normality.

  24. Kind of looks like a bonsai version of a larger grow. Really didn't stretch much at all. But it kind of works out because I aim for as little "larf" as possible anyway. Die f****r, yea that's what you get. Now yous can't leave. Check this guy out:

  25. Hey guys, I'd appreciate some feedback regarding a choice I have to make for the light I'm developing: The driver will be located outside of the tent (on top of tent like I do or up to user) to more easily keep temps low. Two options I have to decide between: 1. External driver + external dimming - no daisy chain. 2. External driver + internal dimming + daisy chain located on the inside of the light frame. Here are my thoughts: - Practically speaking, it is easier to access the dimmer when outside the tent. - When located on the light, the user first has to unzip the tent, and depending on the orientation and height of the fixture, accessing the control can be awkward, especially for shorter or disabled people. - The user may wish to dim the light before they open the tent, in order to protect their eyes. I feel like the majority of people looking to cover a bigger tent/area will usually buy a single, bigger light, rather than daisy chain multiple. In any case, when located externally, the dimmer is right there, on top of, or at arms length beside the tent, and will be clearly labeled for accurate power selection. An external daisy chain/dimmer combo box should be possible in the future though. And while I don't think it takes much effort to turn 2-3-4 dials (how often is it even necessary..3 times in a complete grow cycle, if that?), still, it would be nice to have the option. Not everyone is willing/wants to train a single, level canopy. In those cases, the ability to hang multiple lights at different heights and power levels is way more useful. Maybe I'm dead wrong, and/as well as a crazy person. Let me know.. about the first part. vs ------------------------------------- On a side note, the led count is up 25% from 424pcs to 528pcs, a trade-off benefit of it being more cost effective to produce a traditional strip of LEDs vs the separated design(which will have to wait, for now). Kinda weak, but also pretty sweet because the power is up a nudge, and they will run cooler, more efficiently and prolong their lifespan. It should now comfortably flower a 90cmx90cm tent.

  26. There are many ways to LST a plant. As long as it ends with the results you want - which is often a flat canopy, then it is a success. Play around, try different things and see what works best for you or best in specific situations. LST is great to shuffle the apical dominance around between the different branches and gives some of the side branches more of a chance to catch up and to level the canopy.

  27. Heck no, brother, it's all good, man I almost destroy plants on the regular (and sometimes do!). Fire up another seed or two and start over!!

  28. Damn, that's cool. Just some regular LST? . This makes me feel like I did a proper shit job

  29. No, that's a little more involved. I just tied the branches down a lot and defoliated a bunch. I like to try keep it simple.

  32. is this bud standing by itself?

  33. Well, we'll see once all the leaves are off. Pictures can be deceiving, it's not a huge plant, not that I'm complaining. Yep, a bit of space between buds would have been good tho. Had to remove the lower fan leaves to get some airflow in there.
