The plants are settling nicely, except one sherb crasher on the right, over watering prior to the repot. All plants don’t drink the same. decided to do some training on the clones, the gg#4 (only seed) got topped. Animal cookies grows like a beast, Quattro kush look super intriguing and GG#4 is looking strong Gave them a spray of Epic 5:2 for the heat.4 points

I actually just found your previous thread about them I saw they are sitting on some stock from Bodhi. I don't know how old the stock is but I'm going to give it a shot4 points

Veg tent update. I have taken 6 clones of the Wedding Cake mother. I made sure to take some chonkier clones this time around and I left a little bit more foliage on them. I also gave the Jiffy pellets a little squeeze to reduce the amount of water in them. The KmintZ plants seem to have sprung back from their deficiency. The marks of the deficiency are still faintly visible but the new growth and the overall health of the plants are much better. I also potted them up into slightly bigger pots as they were getting really thirsty, I was beginning to water them nearly everyday. I still have four ZxP clones taking their time to root, followed by another 6 in the center propagator. Please, clone gods...just, please give me a chance.4 points

My best grows were ones I posted up here, and while recent grows were ok, I know I can do better. Seeds are a mixed bag of leftovers and freebies. 3x Caramelino by Victory seeds. 3x Special Crystal Haze fb from biltong&budz. 3x Trump’s cookie jar by President seeds. I am slightly reluctant to post this before the seeds have actually popped, as always, pre-pop anxiety.3 points

I have been reading a lot lately of people abroad, and locally, that says flushing is bro science and it apparently doesn't make any difference. How true this really is Im not sure. I doubt theres a way to slow the process down but Im still a beginner when it comes to growing.2 points

They were the very first seed bank I ever bought from. I got a pack of Dinafem Deep Sweet Grapefruit that turned out great. I see they have expanded their options a bit. As far as I know, they are legit.2 points

Just gotta dial in those clones I would have ideally liked to have planted 6 more some time now instead of having those 6 trays sitting empty. Same. There was even a time where I denounced dehumidifiers but I've since changed my opinion. You can get away with a great ventilation and exhaust setup for a long time but it just takes one week of high humidity at the wrong time to just wreck your shit. Even now, my dehumidifier hasn't run in maybe 4 days because the RH outside has remained below 50%. This after it was running maybe for two weeks straight but I am glad I have it now. It's a fun little game trying to beat each harvest as I go. I've got a few rows of untrimmed bud in the drying tent I need to start working on soon2 points

I somehow must have missed this thread. It looks suuuuuuper yummy though. I am in awe with the look for the 2.4m tent. So beautiful. What impresses me the most is the autopots and that you doing 18 plants harvesting 6 at a time. This is the real perpetual deal. I likey. It is very similar to my setup but because I really want to scrog I just use 1 strain at a time. Maybe 2. So with the box fans. I must admit I got alot of ideas from guys on the forum here especially the scrogs in 1.2m tents. I never knew temps and ventilation would change so much when I upgraded the flower tent. I struggled alot with humidity but also the temps were running above 30c. I almost died. But what I did which helped soooooo much is to get two more box fans. I have two hanging at the top exactly like yours but the other two are at opposite ends of the tent facing inward towards each other. So they will move air at the bottom of the plants. The reason they work so well is I put the backs of those fans against the intake holes at the bottom of the tent (the filtered ones) and because they are so nice and low they draw in alot of cool air from the room as the cool air sits at the bottom. This also kind of tske alot of pressure of the extractor. Now it does not have to pull and push air out. Those box fans help with the air coming in. Love this thread. Glad to be following it now and looking forward to seeing what pops out there. Every harvest will be a 6 pack.2 points

@Ill_Evan what is up man.!!. So it was actually Ngannou's last fight on the contract. I think thats why Dana didnt hand over the belt and wasnt at the presser. So I read up about it, theres a champion clause that can extend Ngannou's contract for 3 more fights but that is only if he wants to compete. Otherewise it expires end Jan, then he becomes a free agent. I think that is why Dana is like he is. He knows he has a week to negotiate and does not have the leverage. But that being said, the UFC is the UFC and will carry on without Ngannou. It is very easy for them to set up a heavyweight fight for the title. I must say I really wanted Gane to win but I am happy that Ngannou has the ball in his court. I just hope he does not take bad advise and fuck up his career going forward. He needs to be very careful. The UFC is big and no one has been able to change their minds about pay etc. Dont think anyone will ever. Have a lekker monday.2 points

I took my time to re-train gorilla glue yesterday and the canopy is now even, with better aesthetics. Second picture is of my new seedlings. Doing my best to make sure I don’t make the same mistakes I made from my previous grow. [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

This topic will have many different opinions. I would love to see a smoke comparison between flushing/non-flushing a synthetic nute grow aswell as an organic nute grow.1 point

what's good friends I believe there are benefits to flushing and it's not bro science at all. I am giving the benefit of the doubt to the debate thinking the counter argument is that if some guy wanted to keep feeding nutrients a week before harvest that someone should tell him there is no point as it doesn't increase yield, terpene, thc or anything and he should save his time, money and resources. - then yeah I get it... but I have seen a lot of people tripping up over people who want to flush, like they should be feeding till harvest day. that argument I don't understand... here is a video discussing a study done on this subject, the video also has a link to the source in the description... I was gona suggest out the whole plant in the freezer hahah nah man I think there is no slowing down maturing trichomes man, especially with autos those things just move to finish up asap1 point

I've read the same but so far I have only not flushed one grow and found that grow to be the harshest smoke. Perhaps I did something else wrong with it but feel like it might have been not flushing. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk1 point

Thanks for your effort bro. And yes, I’m good. Hope you are, too. I have done and still doing all that. I made sure that all the plug lights within the tent are well taped. However, I can see the pistils you mentioned, clearly. So, fingers crossed. Happy weekend! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Ngannou has one more fight in his contract which he has one year to schedule. He will probably first fix his knee and defend his title against either Jon Jones or Stipe Miocic at the end of the year. I don't see Gane getting the rematch. The negotiation is going to cost Dana because if he doesn't cough up what Ngannou thinks he deserves, it will be a major dent to the credibility of the UFC. This is why I think Dana would have preferred Ngannou to have lost, because then he wouldn't be obliged to another fight. Next big fight I'm looking forward to from here is Adesanya vs Whittaker 2.1 point

Hi folks. So currently on day 59 of flower and starting to see some serious fade. Some might be a slight deficiency at the end stretch of flower but I am not too stressed about that. It's quite difficult to keep 8 strains happy with their nute needs... The OSG Cheese and Jelly Breath will most likely come done first, have seen some sprinklings of amber tricome in between. Will most likely chop them at the 9 to 9 and a half weeks. The rest will be staggered harvest and SSH will close the show. The White Afghan Skunk has picked up the most amazing colours with the fade. Really a beautiful plant.. Been a nice grow for me with limited issues even though the humidity was through the roof the last couple of weeks in flower... Mind the droopy leaves the pics were taken just before watering, flush is also now in action on all ladies except the SSH White Bubblegum White Afghan Skunk Purple Dosidos Sunset Sherbet Blunicorn Jelly Breath Super Silver Haze 98 OSG Cheese Tent front view Tent side view1 point

Flower tent update. The ZxP below are about a week and a bit into flower. Looking healthy and happy. I have since switched on the reservoirs for the AutoPots and tonight I also switched on the air domes for them. I have also setup the stretch nets for the tent in preparation for maximum nugs. Below are the Gorilla Zkittlez that went in a week ago. They are already developing their preflowers, mmm I haven't switched on the air domes yet but the reservoir was switched on yesterday.1 point

Can't wait! I've been just growing the ZxP for a long while. Kept the extractor the same, added the two new box fans on the ceiling so that air is always circulating the tops and bottom of the plants as they push air down and then lastly the dehumidifier.1 point

Here is the flower tent, full at last after putting the Gorilla Zkittlez into their trays. The clones I have going in the veg tent that are supposed to replace the plants that are to be harvested soon are taking really long to root, and I might have missed the mark with regards to the timing... oops. So there will be an empty spot in the middle of the flower tent for a little while until the clones are ready.1 point

This morning I potted up 6x Gorilla Zkittlez to go into the empty space in the flower tent tonight after the pots have dried a bit on the deck. I am still playing around with what's the best height to grow the plants in the veg tent before transferring into the flower tent. Previously I got the plants to about no more than 80cm before transferring and they didn't stretch much and only ended at about a meter in height come harvest. With these Gorilla Zkittlez I've gotten them to a solid meter already before transferring into the flower tent. I think this will result in some bigger plants, which means bigger stems, which equals more food for bigger buds! There was a lot of space left in the ceiling of the tent for some more growth, so I am hoping to fill some of that space up with this batch. I also like to at this time remove the last of any lower branches that will definitely not be going through to harvest. I count 5 branches from the top and chop anything left below that. I hover between 4-5 branches depending on how big the internodal spacing is or how much stretch I think there is going to be. Then in the first week in the flower tent I will check how the lowest branches perform and if I like what I see and the vegetation isn't overwhelming the branches will be kept. If not, they get the chop. I like to make these decisions slowly because once you chop, it's decided.1 point

It's literally raining once every second to third day here in the Highveld my dude it's the first Summer in the last 7 years that it's rained this much according to my memory. Usually it will piss down in the first few weeks of Summer and then chill out to like once a week or so. My RH is at least sitting at a constant 50% inside the grow room now but I was a bit late in sorting that out to prevent any rot on the flowering plants right now. These flowers are on exactly week 8 of flower now and I've just finished a flush, so I'll be harvesting what's survived within this week.1 point
-
..and here we have some lekker bud rot, courtesy of the rains. This current batch has been struggling with bud rot in its attempts to flower this Summer. The batch before was almost perfect except for the deficiency at the end, no bud rot though I've been keeping a really close eye every evening to chop any bad buds. I've picked maybe 6 buds so far. Bit of an eish but at least the entire batch isn't lost. I don't think there was saving these buds in-time with the recent purchases to reduce humidity. The real test will be from here on out during this high humidity period1 point

Yellow stickystrips for sure, @DankFiend @trichomechaser , u get predator plants that specifically target gnats and thrips, however caring for them is a hobby in itself. The predator plants do well with a 12/12 light cycle, but they do require some direct light From the lights, making it tricky and perhaps not ideal for some growers. Best of luck1 point

I spent the rest of the day trimming a harvest I had drying for the last week. This was the first run I did in the AutoPots and consisted of 6x ZxP. I won't sugarcoat it (although there was still plenty of sugar), but there managed to be more bud rot again, but it didn't spread. I think it developed as far as it did while flowering and mostly stayed at the center of the buds most affected. I'm going to be honest and say I probably lost half the yield to bud rot. The buds mostly affected were the large, main colas () positioned at the tops of the plants. I don't think I had very good ventilation in the tent at the time. I've managed to save a good portion of buds so not all was lost, but we gotta get this shit pristine now. The unaffected buds are frosty and nice, I managed to get about 2/3rds of a 3 liter jar. I am going to log the weight of all my harvests for the year and present a grand total, try and set myself some baselines/future goals.0 points
