Greenhouse: Temps have been low 20's and humidity at 90% average. Consistent drizzle, rain or cloud cover Been like this for a few weeks. A few sunny days in between. Pulled a Dauiquiriu lime #1. Signs of mildew and bud rot. Will only plant autos later next season. Reckon Jan/Feb planting is the sweet spot to avoid rain/humidity issues in buds. Offed a couple more grasshoppers by hand. Foliared with Bio Sulphur at sunset. 7ml/L on the autos and 3m/L on the rest of the greenhouse Signs of over nuting on some of the flowering in-house. A few gentle leaf curls. Fed plain water. Tent: Plants are growing, fed a little bit of plain water. Will clone and flip soon. Temps have been high 20's and 60% humidity. Seeds: Still half a dozen plants to harvest seed from. Humidity is crazy high so plants aren't drying nicely. Easier to wait until buds are bone dry rather than squeeze the seeds out.5 points

Flipped on 30/01 as seen in the photo above, they where getting hungry, overall N but started seeing signs of fast progressing P deficiency especially on the Frosted Apricot in the middle. Did a topdress. Sprinkled about 5 to 10 ganulars of super phosphate on each pot, not even a gram for each. a cup of bonemeal, but the Frosted Apricot got a cup and a half. 2 cups of vermicompost for each. Took a little hand held rake tool and worked it into the top 5cm of soil, watered it all in with microbes. I got some new myco stuff from Jamie, BioCult, first time working with this for me. Treatmenst where done on 22/01, photos taken yesterday. looking much better, few leaves clawing here and there, I am keeping a close eye on it, will do 2 or 3 clean waterings then back to feed.4 points

Nah, if you have the hard micro continue to use it - if possible try add a bit of extra calcium though. Calcium edta if possible, otherwise calmag could work too but contains high amount of nitrogen.2 points

we all know it's getting worse, we all know why it's getting worse, but we're too comfortable to change. reminds me of an old classic2 points

Hi guys Hope everyone is healthy & happy [emoji16] Does anybody have an idea of how serious it is to switch between the “Hard Water” and “Soft water” variants on the TA Micro? I recently ordered some nutes online and see I ordered the Soft Water version. I don’t actually know what our local water’s hardness is (based in Jhb if anyone else has done the exercise) Any thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Ok, that’s great thanks [emoji1303] I still have 40L of a water mix containing Hard Micro, and am about half way into flower. Should I chuck that and make new? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Don't worry, you got the right one Hard water version is for if you are at the coast, or use minerally rich water such as from a bore hole.1 point

just don't let everyone know you can choke them out before having to do it the element of surprise will forever be in your favour! like not showing your weapon unless you ready to use it1 point

Well I don't mean to get technical or come up with solutions, because the problem is not just one thing, but the platform for all this is just human intervention. always has been. We didn't get here, because of some magic trick. We did it all to ourselves and that is the only thing I need to know, to be able to say that we can also undo it all. I am not talking bout going back to the stone age either, but we are clever enough to know what's causing the problem and what doesn't. if you didn't know what causes the problem, you wouldn't have said going down this "path of the future" just means it's going to get worse. like they say, "the power to change is in our hands"1 point

I agree, however big companies and certain practices which are in place is the main driving force behind the fuck up and getting them to make a change is the difficult part. Either because it doesn't work in their favour and perhaps makes things more difficult for them, or it does not make financial sense. A friend and I were having a discussion as to whether EVs will be the future or whether they're just the now. I feel battery technology or power storage technology needs to advance more in order for it to become the future. Lithium is rare and not pleasant to work with, it also costs money to recycle. I do not believe recycling lithium is profitable. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk1 point

Removed the tomatoes as they just outgrew too quickly. Replaced them with a camel thorn seed I picked up on holiday about a year ago and surprisingly it worked. Replaced the thyme with 3 pollinated Ak420 auto and did a little weave. So best use so far might be to keep a a small mother. Also root trimming as space is not very big. Update on the deficiency on the Gorilla Zkittlez. Three of them have bounced back well, two are still in the swing of bouncing back and one seems to be struggling just a bit, but yellowing has stopped progressing. I have given the three plants that are lagging another round of top feed. I think this will get the job done on the two, and I will just need to keep an eye on the one straggler.1 point

I hear you man. I've also been exploring a lot of new genetics the last 2 years for various reasons, but I'm amped to get back to working my Chocolope NL line this year, and will probably be taking up next year too1 point

All these babies are autoflowers, will start pulling and culling them in a while. Honestly not growing photoperiods outdoors again any time soon. I planted these Strawberry Vostoks autos in the picure below just as close together as the new ones. Harvested most of the autos in this section. Looking bare photoperiod section doing ok. Those baby autos upstairs will finish before this section. thats why Im not going to grow photos outside again. 3 seasons instead of 11 point

Largest Dirty Banana in the room. The photo makes it look thinner for some reason. It is noticeably fatter IRL. That cola is easily 40 to 45cm in length and thicker than a coke can. It is interesting to note that this plant is not as mature as the other DB's in the room, even though it is from the same mother.1 point

You don't need to smoke in order to be able to grow. However not smoking / sampling your own plants can leave you a bit in the dark when it comes to how smooth the smoke it, taste, effects, potency - this can easily be resolved by sending the bud in to be tested and/or having someone who can assist and sample for you and give you feedback. I have grown a few autoflowers, I can tell you first hand that the potency has always been lower with the autoflowers compared to the photoperiods I have grown. Had I not sampled them myself, I wouldn't have known. With that being said, I know of people who grow but do not smoke themselves... They get by fine as others sample for them or they grown clones of known plants which others grow.1 point

Hey @Valda sorry to hear that, my condolences to you and who ever had to deal with that terrible loss with you. and some more condolences for the loss of those cannabis plants you got on their way out there keep up the hopes and positivity and it'll only get better with time the question you aksed - nah it doesn't matter, it might matter to the people who are making the remarks, but it shouldn't matter to you. even if you harvest the best of the best every few days and smoke your whole harvest yourself there will still be people trying to beat you down for what you doing. haters gona hate, don't pay no mind to them!1 point

Fun fact, if you run a commercial cannabis farm in Australia, nobody in the entire company, including the janitors or even cultivators, are allowed to consume any cannabis whatsoever.0 points
