I went ahead and took a dozen clones off of the one ZxP mother I had sitting around. I went back to the diary and saw the Wedding Cake clones rooted in exactly 3 weeks. I can work with that timeframe, so we will see now how these ZxP do. I'm starting to take clones from much more developed mothers/plants and keeping a bit more foliage than I usually do. I also give the Jiffies a young squeeze so the stems aren't just sitting in stagnant water within the JIffies. It seems to have worked nicely with the WC clones.6 points

honestly...i have no idea how they grade pot amongst the things that make you a risky client.. but if it were my business, i would give you a 1% discount on your premium for every year you have been smoking.4 points

Hi, I am currently in process of applying for life insurance. The question of taking cannabis in the last 10 years came up and I answered yes. Does anyone know what the implications of this are and any advice around further questioning? Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk3 points

Well cannabis isn't actually legal yet, just the other day at the SONA Cyril was talking about "We are going to fast-track policy and regulations for the use of cannabis for medicinal use, especially in the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal" https://businesstech.co.za/news/trending/557190/south-africa-to-fast-track-regulations-for-the-local-cannabis-industry/3 points

Agreed, plus it is legal now. I just feel annoyed they grouped in with narcotics and cocaine, very disappointing to hear. They'll call tomorrow, I'll update here after. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk3 points

You did the right thing. Last thing you want, is to make a claim, and get denied payment because it comes out you falsified your documentation. You'll lose everything then, not just credibility3 points

Nah, I understand - you don't want to be caught lying. If you say yes, then it is something you won't have to worry about if they ever do test for it. Let us know how it goes, for interest sake3 points

Lunch time boerie braai is update time. Had some molasses on hand yesterday so gave some to AntZilla. Gaining some height, not much, and still looking healthy.3 points

Honestly not sure, however I suspect higher premiums for "drug use". In their eyes, it is not seen as medicinal. Quite sure on this, unfortunately. I was advised by my broker to say no to any "drugs".... State that I do not smoke.3 points

Wedding Cake clones have rooted nicely. It might have taken a month, but they look strong and healthy. They have been transplanted into small pots to continue rooting, pics below. I currently have the KmintZ in the flowering tent I can still clip some clones from, then I have two ZxP and one Gorilla Zkittlez mothers to also clip some clones from. These mothers were not planned, they were extra clones that I just shaped into mother plants that I could clip later just in case. I am trying to start only taking clones from plants that are in the flowering tent just before they go into preflower so I can try free up some space in the veg tent. So the line-up from after the KmintZ harvest will be Wedding Cake -> ZxP -> Gorilla Zkittlez -> KmintZ -> ? After another round of KmintZ I am hoping to maybe have a fresh pack of seeds of something something.3 points

Was reading the other day about people using those green Oasis blocks that florists use. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk2 points

In hindsight I feel a bit stupid for saying yes to that question. But they got me when they said they will be conducting medical tests before starting with the questions. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk2 points

I'm still re-using the Eazyplugs on occasion. Dig them out of the party cup, pull the unwanted seedling, rinse off and good to go again.1 point

I came from Eazyplugs, and they sure were easy! I would buy the 50 plug bulk bags and just reuse the trays, but I couldn't find any more bulk bags so I switched to the Jiffies.1 point

My 3rd year trying to grow grass in this damn garden, getting there though. Harsh out here in the full sun and wind. She gets some molasses when I mix for the shade house but not often. Leaving this one for the ants. Let's see. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk1 point

Eazyplugs are definitely my go to for now. Works like a charm but a bit expensive if you're going all out berzerker. How do the ous find glue plugs in comparison?1 point
-
The actual "grass" doesn't even want to grow properly in that spot... many feet have compacted the soil around the braai Kudo's to that lil' lady for soldiering on. Does she recieve any nutes at all? Or you going 'au-natural'?1 point
-
Shame, really struggling there. Quite slow growth, however it is in a harsh environment and who knows how much nutes she (hopefully) has access to. Still a bit of time until she starts to flower at least.1 point

Looking good! When you run out of jiffies, time for the glue plugs?1 point

KmintZ are in! There are four KmintZ and two supporting ZxP. They looking fresh and ready for their flowering journey. I gave them all a nice douse of spinosad before going in just as a preventative to the latest little stint of thrips, of which I saw none of when checking tonight. I got a little fright when looking for more PWM, but it turns out it was just dry milk on the leaves that I rubbed yesterday. Lol me. Otherwise, I haven't spotted any more PWM so hopefully that has been sorted as well. Flower tent looking skits. KmintZ ZxP Gorilla Zkittlez1 point

I will never go back to bagged soil after making my own soil and seeing the great results so far. I used Subcool's super soil recipe and it is fire. Here is a link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/13ivnUXwCGqASKO_5LNhY1r8PSdheVMlG/view?usp=drivesdk1 point
