Just came from the event now and it was great! Really a treat and getting to meet loads of awesome peeps. I wish I stayed longer to watch them announce the winners but after 20 bongs I was ready for some food and a rest.

I remember the best "hotbox" I'd ever been in. We took 2 black bags, cut down the sides and joined them with some tape. Once joined you can comfortably fit it over 2 people's upper halves. We then sat together on a couch and tucked the ends of the bags under us, lit up a joint and smoked until a point where the was so little air in there that a lighter wouldn't ignite. A bored friend came up with the idea and had me try it out with him, I was afraid, and to this day I think it was fucking dumb, but I'll never forget the amount of laughter and just how high we got off our R30 jut that day!

Agreed. It was a killer event. The way it was setup, the vibe, alles lekker. And the bud entries were all fire. I couldn't sample all of them though, joh haven't been quite so stoned in a bit

Ideally cut the whole plant at the base. Hang upside down in clean, dark space with 50-60% RH and 20 deg celsius with a fan running at med speed for the first day or two then let the fan slow down for another 5-10 days. Not directly blowing on plant of course. Low and slow is what want to aim for. Low rh and temps with a slow dry. When the branches start snapping instead of just bending, snip off the buds, do a final trim and cure in jar at 60% RH for at least 2 weeks. Remember to regularly burp the jars and store in dark place. Dinner is served

Guy!!! I think i fucked up. I woke up yesterday morning and I don’t know what pushed me but I went straight to my plant and starting defoliating. 10 minutes later I stopped and asked myself bro wtf are you doing?? Because I realised that I had trimmed off all my fan leaves. I mean ALL. Lmao!!! The plant has been too idle and not challenging me so I guess I just wanted to be busy with it. And now my buds are feeling very dry to the touch. Please I need advice on how to proceed from here. I still have about a week to go before I chop her down. We went for a drive and puff and ended pulling over by a nearby stream nearby farms. We lit our joints and about halfway through buddy went for a pee. Minutes later came running yelling: "DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE THEY ARE SHOOTING AT US!!!" Next second I see a HUGE signal flare going up and lighting the heavens. We sped away from there laughing/stressing/panicking, all the emotions with people, probably farmers or farm watchers yelling. We never went back there to puff...

Another week gone by, quite happy with the progress

A very big thank you to those who bought passes or entered their bud. Judge passes sold out a few days ago and we have 20 cultivars entered. A bunch of judged have have come from America, Holland and Canada. The support from local brands and international brands has been amazing. Looking forward to meeting some of you there.

when moving over to clean water at the end of the grow cycle you are still using the same amount of water you would normally give the plant. you're not aiming to flush the plant here, you're just not adding nutrients to the water anymore. I would say you're done with full dose feeds, just keep it at 50% till a week or two before harvest then you switch to clean water. don't flush her, she'll naturally fade by herself.

I discovered that after smoking weed, I'm just a machine in bed, as strange as that may sound.
