  1. Strain details: (Chemdog 91 x SFV Bx2) x Chemdog 91 Bx2 bred by Skunk_VA from Lucky Dog Seed Co. So it is essentially a Chem 91 backcross. I had 7 phenos to work through, but they were all very uniform and heavily Chem 91 dominant as you would expect from a cross like this. THC number only came in at 19.9% but I have some experience with the machine they used for testing, and it is stingy with the numbers. The important thing is that all 20 entries were tested the same way, so the number is just a reference point. You will notice from the photos that while she has some decent trich production, she is no frost monster. I promise that she will blow you out of your socks though. I only smoke her once every few weeks, as I sometimes get a little anxious when I smoke her.

  3. What is up folks. So the plaas has come to harvest time. Today was the last day of flower (day 56) and the girls have been getting clean water up until now. Last watering was 2 days ago. They will have full darkness for the next 24 to 36 hours. I will then chop them down, and hang them up sometime tomorrow to start the drying process. The plan is to dry them for about 10 to 14 days depending on the weather etc. and then straight to cure. So far the fade isn't as much as I would have liked and I will probably start my clean waterings a little earlier next time. I did get a little bit of purple popping in the last couple of days of ripening.

  4. Hey man. Thanks. So happy harvest day is here. Usually I try hang the whole plant as is to dry, but with this being a scrog, I will have to cut the plants into pieces. I will therefore leave all plant material on to dry as there won't be any main stems. I prefer dry trimming waaaaay more than wet trimming. I will also be doing 4 plants seperate as I used two different lights. Both 480w, one with IR and the other I built myself. I want to see what the difference in bud structure, density, trichome and weights would be under the two different lights. Just an interesting experiment.

  6. Sterkte with the harvest bro. Are you wet trimming or just removing biggest fan leaves before hanging out to dry?

  9. Yeah, I like to run a plant twice before discarding it although some aren't even worth running again. I'll run the gg Mints once more at least. Will try with some fresh coco out the bag on the gg Mints next time around. There is also a bit of burn on the leaves from a foliar I did with lights on... Because time was an issue. 10. Found some budrot on one cola but luckily found the fucker eating and shitting in my bud. Cleaned up a lot of fan leaves and found a touch of WPM on the fan leaves. Will prob chop in a week or so. Trichomes are mostly milky. This will be my biggest harvest BY FAR. First real outdoor run. Those strawberries and asparagus can’t wait to see the sun again Also chopped a volunteer bag seed. Prob a NL as I got a batch of heavily seeded NL that usually got cleaned over the balcony. Before. After. And the haul. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. High all. Will publish the results and names next week when back at the office. Taking a short break to savour CT. A huge dankie to all the entrants, judges and sponsors. As well as Sensiva Cafe. This was a short notice event but was an opportunity to get the joint rolling. The feedback has been amazing. People and brands are jumping on board for 2023 already. Definitely some things to do next time that will make it bigger and better. Including HPLC testing. Will share as many pics and vids here as a I can. Didn't really take any of my own:( This was a be there to experience it kinda thing. The buds and company were top shelf. I will be growing this event slowly each year to ensure that it is sustainable and dank AF. There has also been requests for a Joburg cup. What do you think?

  12. yeah lol, I get quite annoyed when shit like this happens, and I certainly brought these fuckers in from a friend of mine who gave me a cutting of CREPES from Lit farms, this I still cant guarantee, but those bugs were on it when it arrived. Now they wrecking the flowering plants. They will have to run their course until I harvest, which I too am still excited for.

  16. Those fkrs were all over my DP plant at harvest time. Lost a couple of good main nugs. Even spotted some in my drying room after harvest. Trying to escape the drying buds. Puta madre!
