  2. Bru my propagation station needed a intake, and a filter of sorts. Those bathroom fans are 150mm, only 100mm ducting would fit through the Propogation tent holes. So I needed a reducer of sorts as well as a filter. Pantyhose check, plastic 2l pot, cut the bottom out with a scalpel and boooyaaa reducer check... When there's a will there a way.

  4. They have filled the space nicely. Will flip in the next couple of days after last round of IPM. Took some clones tonight, first attempt so fingers crossed.

  5. Air intake needs not much effort in purification if its a small scale grow. I have 100mm fan from H2gro, and I wrap a bug mesh over it so it doesn't suck in any undesirables, a more permanent and effective solution would be a standard carbon filter. These HEPA filters are for GMP standards, so if you growing some home grown medical marijuana. BY all means

  6. Good day people ! So recently I decided to dig into filtering air intake in a grow space for a home grower, and well I didn't get much further than air purifiers and I found this one HEPA filter box which is specially for indoor growing. I also know about those boxes gthydro sells, but they just have like a thin piece of cloth in them or something if I'm not mistaken ? The HEPA filter box I came across - HEPA Filter Box (8"/200mm) 4 Layer - PlantLiving – Plant Living AMX - HEPA Filter Boxes – Homegro Depot Anyone got some suggestions ?

  7. I run the below filter. It has a removable "cartridge" with a about 5cm worth of poly filter pads kind of the same they use for fish tanks. It cleans up nicely, I just zap it with a hose and leave it in the sun to dry for an hour. Are you current fans going to be adequate to do the 55 minimum air exchanges through the filter?

  8. Update - Transplanted to their final homes. I rate +- 2 weeks and I will flip. Can now finally use the automatic irrigation and run off removal and save some time.

  9. The end of week 4. Shaping up quite nicely. Wish I had got the canopy more even but I'll learn from that! Going to take it a bit easier on the nitrogen me thinks, tips curling on quite a few of them. They need water tonight, pics taken while ladies were thirsty. Bananium: Deluxe Sugarcane: Tent:

  14. Very nice!! some IPM treatments you can still do during the first 2 to 3 weeks after flip, depending on how harsh the treatment is. it's really only once the pistils come in that you have to worry to spray something that'll stunt the flower production. I've seen something as mild as a full dose of Neem completely toast all my pistils, buds stopped forming for about a month, when the plant finally flowered she made a bunch of poo weed. though, you could still spray Neem till you see pistils which will only be around week 3. if it's something like a contact killer like Pyrol rather stay clear from day one of flip. on the other hand, biological stuff like AQSF you can spray at any time. it's just distilled water with living organisms in it. you could also introduce predatory mites at any time. I see a lot of people working with predatory mites these days.

  16. I had a few thrips to deal with*, so I made a sticky-side-up packing tape lid (also prevents gnats from getting started and helps to keep the top soil from drying out too much). *I was searching the leaves for thrips and found one, which then jumped away from the plant (plant was smaller, thought maybe on its way back it might come into contact with the taped soil area at some point). So I tried the lid thing, and haven't had any more pests since then, and find it generally beneficial for my style of growing. What?....I'm not crazy... why's everyone looking at me like that?

  17. Week 7 Flower update. Blunicorn(1st Pic) took a bit of a beating in week 5 and 6 with nutes being abit too strong for her while the Jelly Breath(Pics 2-5)was all good. The Blunicorn is seems abit behind so going to try and feed her till the end and just give the Jelly Breath water. Jelly Breath got some nice tints and smells very sweet

  19. Big flower tent keeps on pumping. Looking at roughly two weeks before chopping the most developed ladies. KmintZ ZxP ZxP (Young) Wedding Cake Some of the KmintZ clones still look like they are revegging and have some funky looking top leaves. I had initially kept the lights on 24hrs during the beginning of the reveg and then later switched back to 18/6, but I am going to switch back to 24hrs until every plant, including the Wedding Cake clones, look like they are completely in veg stage. I think I will top the Organic Tent™ in the next day or two and begin their training.
