@Totemic Thank you for the 5 Strawberry Sugar Cookies S1 seeds. Definately going to keep clones of every one and share with the locals. Everybody loves the chocolate gelatos. I'm going to be reversing the old school cheese next and will probably pollenate the Strawberry sugar cookies with the cheese autoflower pollen too. I want to make a shitload of auto cheese s1 seeds for the next outdoor season. 63 days avarege claim from fastbuds. Finishing up the anastasia 99 S1's4 points

hahahah this is true, cz it's already formulated nutrient line with a schedule, although one does not follow the schedule to a T otherwise it would make big kak. imagine following the biobizz schedule, plants will catch fire or some shit, but their schedule calls for like 10× the amount of nutrients you really need + half the stuff you don't even need full organic I feel is building your own soil. a few inert mediums as a base, compost from a self maintained compost heap, mostly clean water with a microbe tea / dry organic ammendment on occasion. hahah yeah I haven't even found any phenos worth keeping, still searching! grew a Sour Lemon OG by Emerald Triangle Genetics that has a damn nice citrus / cat piss taste that kinda burns my nose in a good way when smoking it. like a tingle sensation that I can't get enough of, I guess it's a terpene my body reacts to quite well. grew a big batch then dropped the cut, my search will probably be never ending! I feel like after I had a big batch of one strain I get ovet it real quick. I prefer smoking something diffetent each time rather than smoking the same thing the whole time, even if it's really good I become so used to the taste, smell and feel it becomes like water to me. I got my hands on some new phenos, way too many different strains to get to, will be running some Forbidos, Grape Diamonds, Canna Health #21 and Zweet Inzanity cuts after my batch that's in veg now. then got a run lined up aftet that too. and the batch in veg at the moment is all new to me aswell , so I don't even know if I am going to want to keep them, all I know is I am already planned to drop them2 points

Indeed sir, I am very happy with the performance of the Wedding Cake. The last run I did of it I was still selecting phenos and this was the top pick out of the bunch that I could finally do a proper run of. The frost and terpenes are top class, although it does lack somewhat in bud size. I'd like to do a manifold/top of it to see if I can improve the yield. Four years later First time ever using organic nutes/Biobizz. I call it Organic Tent™ ironically because personally I would consider a grow true organic if it's just soil, amendments and teas/water. The Biobizz feels like a bit of a cheat2 points

This is a great idea bud, I think that will honestly work out quite well, I hear the talborne amendments give great results! I’ll keep an eye out for it1 point

I don't think I'll outright do my own part by part mix of soil so I think to start out I will go for Living Organic Mix by Organics Matters with a 1/4 mix of worm castings, then a handful of Talborne Vita Grow for veg, then add some Vita Flower along with a top dress of the above at flip to flower. Myco to also be used at every transplant. Then for the most part I will just feed with plain water.1 point

Mighty kind of you sir :). I can go on a bit, it's true. Straight shooter huh, niccce. That's a preferred personality trait if you ask me. I have two, slightly different, older prototypes in my 60cm and 80cm. I prefer the slightly heavier red spectrum of 3000K over 3500K, however with the addition of 660nm the overall spectrum results in slightly less blue than is optimum, so I added just enough 5000K to get to about 13 percent blue, which keeps plants sufficiently compact. I follow the principle (sorry for the name drop) Dr Bruce Bugbee stated: As much red as possible, enough blue for dense, compact growth, and fill the rest with green. This may not be a popular opinion, but: Personally I don't worry about different lights for different stages of growth. I only care about a balanced, full spectrum light, that is a pleasure to use and then spend the rest of my energy trying to maintain optimal temp and humidity, VPD, DLI, training, and an effective watering schedule. I feel that by spreading my effort equally, it results in a far better grow at all stages rather than chasing a customised-for-growth-stage approach. There was a lot of trial and error trying to understand how to change the led layout, believe me! The specific driver you need for a 660nm strip(s) depends on the electrical requirements of the PCBs you source, eg. Forward voltage and current etc. It's might just be that buying a locally stocked Mean Well is cheaper than importing a Moso or Inventronics etc. Honestly, if your overall spectrum is already 3500k/3000k, I don't think you're missing anything substantial that will be a magic bullet. But.. new gadgets are fun :).1 point

AWWEEEHH bru! I would be very keen to see this one, Tad Hussey is definitely one of those guys who really know what they are doing. Ya Biobizz is not exactly organic but its certified organic, so that what really matters lol. When growing organic living soil, you just want to ensure there is as much nutrient cycling as possible, there are lots of ways to get the system moving some what, but is nothing like instantly available nutrients in ionic form. Then also, having enough nutrients for what ever purpose or style of growing you intent on doing? pots sizes and veg times? Have you thought about any recipes that you would like to maybe try?1 point

Awesome. Thanks for the info dude. Here I am thinking it is only 3 bottles just like TA Tripart. Thats alot of juice to remember to put in. I also used to just use living soils and had the tripart just sitting there. Until one day I decided to switch over and have never looked back. I prefer the TA Tripart now. Easy to use and just like you said....It works. I should maybe get a couple small bottles of the Biobizz range as I go and maybe one day I will have the same thought process. Maybe I will switch to BioBizz and never look back. But until that day, I will TriPart it all the way.1 point

A few things to take into consideration. I am using Biobizz with just the Organic Tent™ (4 plants) and I am also using the full range; Root Juice, Fish Mix, Bio Grow, Bio Bloom, Top Max, Acti Vera and Bio Heaven. It can get pretty pricey if buying retail. I happened to have quite a bit of the above Biobizz products because I had bought it wholesale some time ago with the intention of reselling but didn't quite manage to sell all of it, so I decided to just give it a shot in a personal grow to see what all the hubbub is about. I would still probably go for TA because it just works. It's consistent, fewer products and cheaper. Fully agreed, and when I'm done with the Biobizz I'd like to look into this. I've been reading up on KIS organics and have been listening a bit to their podcast with Tad Hussay called Cannabis Cultivation and Science. They provide some really great insight in how to grow organically and cheaply without compromising on quality, but it's a science and I feel you really gotta know what you're doing to prevent any headaches. Which I guess is why Biobizz has it's place in the organic world because it is indeed technically organic and basically plug and play, whereas mixing your own soil might take some trial and error. I am willing to give it a shot seeing as I have multiple tents so I wouldn't be left out completely in the cold if something were to falter. Feel you on this one, Chief.1 point

My guy, props given when they're deserved same with being nice, it's a two way street Only a pleasure man, I wouldn't say nice things if it wasn't true. infact, I am quick to point out things I don't agree with and not scared to voice my opinion on anything and it doesn't take much to tip my scales lol like they say, closed mouths don't get fed! I see you got tons of info on the backburner when talking bout LEDs, I'll have to study a bit more just to know what everything meant you just told me but I get the picture. thanks for the links to the info, I'll provide a looksee a bit later! You got a very nice light put together there man, hell yeah!! Is this the same light you using in your 60x60 tent? Do you mix the 3000 and 5000 to make it both a veg/flower light or what's the reason for that? When during the plants life does it benefit more from full spectrum light? Or would it rather be a case of having different lights for different things? I am thinking like a noob here, but my mind tells me it's better to have 240w of 4500/5000K full blast during veg and 240w of 3000/3500K + 660nm during flower. You designed your own strips?! Well, colour me impressed! Damn, talk about being 10 steps ahead of the rest of us! If I was looking at adding only 660nm diodes to my already existing 300w DIY LED, I would need a seperate driver, can I ask you what driver I should be looking at if I wanted to save a few rands on not having a meanwell shipped? Should I just be looking at bloom boosters?1 point

Wow man. Those plants are looking amazing!!. Very very nice. The scrog is unreal. Welldone on the cleanup. You are not going to be dissapointment with the yield. It looks really good dude. One thing I need to try is to move over to BioBizz nutes. Im still on the T.A. Tripart train and have alot of liters to get through. Will switch over sometime when all my other stuff is done. Thanks for the inspiration.1 point

Pleasantly surprised, that one was struggling for a while sheesh! Seems to be staging a bit of a comeback.1 point

Not to worry. One of these days I should have enough auto flower seeds for all the street lights in Cape Town. And with the city replacing the old HID lights with LED’S it is just going to get worse.1 point

Well thanks dude! Mighty kind words for sure! Awesome, glad you've got the led bug too! I guess I'm just a bit hesitant to go waving my 2c around. Yea dude, I love all the lights, love diy, all of it. So with that in mind, here it is: My light: 240W, Samsung LM301B SK bin 3000K+5000K, Osram Oslon SSL 660nm, designed for 60-70-80-90cm(max) tents. 92% efficient Fahold driver, PF 0.983. Foldable, driver on bars or external (2m extension cord), 3 year warranty. etc. (see the website for more) Maybe controversial, but from what I've studied, LM301B sk is the exact same chip as LM301H sk, LM301B sl is the same as LM301H sl. SL is roughly 5% more efficient for a 40% price increase. https://cre.science/en/lm301h-vs-lm301b/ Info on the upcoming LM301H Evo: https://cre.science/en/lm301h-evo-new-horticulture-leds/ Samsung LM301H SL is right up there with the most efficient, if not the most efficient by a smallish margin. I'm unsure whether Nichia, Seoul, Philips Lumiled, Sanan (what the Lumii series uses iirc), Epistar etc. have any new products out, accurate data is hard to find, so it's entirely possible a few have chips that come super close. They all produce quality chips though. Bridgelux is no different, the top bin gen3 chips in the best EB series strips are really good (slightly more ePar production, if that's your thing, but that's a deep rabbit hole). To match the output of the top bin LM301 chips, Mars Hydro (FC3000 vs FCE3000 and now Spider Farmer with their G1000 model) use around 32% more Bridgelux diodes, making them run cooler and more efficiently. Samsung and Mean Well established their brands first, commonly referred to as somewhat of a "gold standard" in the market. They enjoy those word of mouth bonus points. But, as with led chips, there are plenty of similar quality drivers, all with at least 5 year warranties etc. (Not that it translates through each brand's light warranty). In fact, Mean Well has been a bit slow to jump on the programmable driver train iirc. Oh, I'm not using strips, it's a custom layout I designed. I've been developing it with a Chinese ODM for a year+. I really appreciate your friendliness btw, makes a dude feel good ya know. Feel free to ask away. I live for this stuff.1 point

Alot of seed sharks and relabeled seeds going around. A few of SA breeders do this too. They buy from Tiger one Bulk and relabel. I could show you how deep this rabbit hole goes but last time I exposed local seed company's it didnt go well and I pissed off a few people. Sealed packs and a good reputation is worth the extra cost if you plan to breed with the seeds.1 point

ZxP is 8 weeks tomorrow and the Wedding Cake is 7 weeks. The ZxP is looking ripe for the picking, so I will probably turn the taps off tonight. The Wedding Cake still looks a bit green and glassy so it will keep going, maybe through to 9 weeks. ZxP Wedding Cake My Organic Tent™ is at 3 weeks into flower and is pushing some good flower already. I am going to bump up the Biobizz ratios a bit. I have been alternating between feeds and fresh water so far. I am impressed with the results of the Biobizz nutes.1 point

Latest harvest is dried and jarred, and the numbers are in! I will update the first post with the totals. ZxP x2 - 65g KmintZ x4 - 159g I'm busy giving the KmintZ a cheeky tester now. It has a diesel, gassy odor. Even just after a week cure it already smokes well, but it still has a bit of a grassy taste. The high is slow to come, but it hits relatively well. This strain also seems to give me a hectic apatite. However, it doesn't quite hit the mark for me, so it will likely be dumped from the stable. That means the only strains remaining in my stable are the ZxP and Wedding Cake. Speaking of the Wedding Cake, check the frost development on the leaves below. I have to wear a long sleeved hoodie when working with the Wedding Cake or else I get absolutely covered sticky with resin. The terpenes coming off of it are also fantastic. Lastly I'd like to give an update on the Organic Tent™. It is currently 12 days into flower and is looking great. I've got a good spread going with each branch of the respective manifolds and they are beginning to push flower pistols. I seem to have a consistent 4-5 tight stems per branch which should be more than enough for some solid buds to develop from. There are no stems growing from below the net whatsoever.1 point

The plants are settling nicely, except one sherb crasher on the right, over watering prior to the repot. All plants don’t drink the same. decided to do some training on the clones, the gg#4 (only seed) got topped. Animal cookies grows like a beast, Quattro kush look super intriguing and GG#4 is looking strong Gave them a spray of Epic 5:2 for the heat.1 point
