Next batch of ZxP has been chopped this morning. 5 colourful plants in all, and some nice full buds hanging off the branches. I am going to slightly modify my usual harvest routine. Usually I would remove all the big fan leaves and then lay the branches on a dry net in a closed empty grow tent. This time around I am going to hang the whole plants upside-down in an empty grow tent. My intention is to slow down the drying process and to put a little more emphasis into a proper cure, seeing as I have some good stock for once and am not in such a rush to get my fix This is looking to be some of the best ZxP I have grown yet. Now to get a full tent of it!6 points

So I thought my next post would be telling the tale of a chop, yet here we are past the 9 week mark still waiting for them ambers . Thinking this may even stretch to 10 weeks at this rate. Very few amber trichomes on sugar leaves, still some clear on the buds. Will be checking daily from here, I feel I chopped a bit early my last grow and so it's definitely not a mistake I want to make again. I'm seeing even more purple pop through which is an awesome sight to see, bananium just seems to be getting fatter by the day, foxtailing is something new to me too, definitely genetic related.2 points

If you are in CT, Cannabliss, 202 lower main, observatry, does tests. Last time there 120 first, 90 every follow up, if i remember correctly. Just potency, thc and cbd. They use the same method as Qure, just the Israelian version, Qure uses the Humboldt machine. They told me, tests are accurate compared to the expensive chromatograph versions. In a few years we have cheap machines to test at home, then the seed banks will get into real trouble. Cannabliss also does Brix numbers, if you want your sugar tested, bring 4, 5 fan leaves per plant. Collect at least 4 hours after light is on. i aim to have 15% or more sugar in my leaves.2 points

Yep, on qure's site potency test is somewhere round what you saying. Additional tests which I was looking at were terpines (pointless taking something for pain if you want something to help you sleep) for example and foreign organic matter. I stopped adding what I wanted testing at the 1000bucks mark. Chatting with Taste of Cannabis to see where I can get certified CBD tincture to work with for now. Just to be safe. If you know of somewhere else please let me know. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk2 points

Name and shame... doesnt helps much. I send my lab results to pacificseedbank.com. The Charlottes Web were from CBD Depo. They still use them as one of their major CBD seed producers. They, the seed bank itself, doesnt give a funk about what ever bad comment there is on some sites. People dont really check those... and as nobody really gets the genetics tested they buy... they have no idea what they actually consume. Is really El Dorado out there... and they sell you shit for gold. Do your homework.. all you can do right now.2 points

Nope, thc, cbd profile is about 100-150 rand for a test. Terpine profiles are expensive but that you only do on plants you finally work with and selected. Not knowing what you work with is the path to a mediocre to disastrous result. I got "medical" Charlottes Web from a Canadian supplier... was total BS and had more THC as CBD content. If you want to go commercial, you MUST test each plant you start with or you have a very high risk wasting your time. If the clone doesnt come with a lab test, you simply have to do it yourself before you invest a lot of time. Seed fraud is massive out there with medical, pure CBD genetics! Havent found one yet.... all i got tested so far had way to much thc content inside.2 points

Thanks, i check em out. Last i tried was RSAWeb. Had to click "Activate my fiber line", ended with an error to please write email to support, with the email address provided to contact. Did that twice, 4 days ago one response came back to please define more accurate, what my problem is. Network, billing,...? Just wrote back: with which of the three words they have a problem understanding? The word "Activation", the word "not" or the word "working". i hate it, when they not even read your mail at all. there was no error code, just "Woopsie!". Woopsie cost em a customer signing up for 2 1000/200 lines. i worked in the internet business 35 years ago... have to grin rather often when in contact with a SA ISP.1 point

yeah I've been picking a hand full of fan leaves every second or third time I open the tent, but it's been a while since I did a proper clean up. left a lot of inner and lower branches for making clones if needed, but they all need to be removed, I'll do a deep defol and thining out the branches once I see pistils. Still need to clone the Chernobyl. might put down a second net once I cleaned them up nicely. they also still need to be moved to the flower tent so will probably get to all that as I move them over1 point

The sour apple is Humboldt Sour Diesel x Magic Melon auto. And the other sour is from seed stoker. Will see how they turn out. I hope it is at least a sour terpene. But I will work the line so find and stabilise the sour. One of my favourite terps.1 point

Heck yea, it's super fun, brother :). We can enjoy it on behalf of others! Oef, 35 is no bueno. Maybe some super growers can manage that with co2 and extreme environmental control. But from what I've read, 30 is usually max optimal value. Man, you're too kind. I'm definitely no prophet figure, just a regular schmo with a passion. But I appreciate ya!!1 point

Wow man. Those plants are looking amazing!!. Very very nice. The scrog is unreal. Welldone on the cleanup. You are not going to be dissapointment with the yield. It looks really good dude. One thing I need to try is to move over to BioBizz nutes. Im still on the T.A. Tripart train and have alot of liters to get through. Will switch over sometime when all my other stuff is done. Thanks for the inspiration.1 point

Should update here, but things have happened as I thought they would, lazy gardener mentality, so these plants have become quite an annoyance not because of anything really but because of the street lights causing all the plants to slow flower down as well as revegging seen on the one GG4 clone, other control one going on with flowering, So they have still be getting nutes but not as often as I was away, they got a 0,5ml p/L dose before I left them. you will notice I moved all the plants out on the astroturf, next to the shade cloth, the street light in question is in a south west position, so they in a more shaded dark place at night. At the time I moved them I thought to go and have a look at the weather to see when’s the next earth watering, pm doesn’t stop for nothing anyway, let’s see if we can fight all battles ☝ Gg# clones below Sugar widows below sugar widow control buds sugar widows experiment buds gg#4 experiment buds revegging Gg#4 control buds the situation1 point

I didn't know If I'd be breaking forum rules or just irritating everyone by posting off-topic. But ye, it's the first shipment of my lights that I'm currently making par charts for. Having to take a break after doing the 90cm x 90cm size, my lower back is so sore. @Prom is a super nice guy, he let me use his quantum sensor. Thanks again to you sir, tip of the hat!1 point

smol update this week. not much happening, cleaned under canopy again, just getting clean water still. worked Sodium Bicarbonate into the weekly IPM in the veg tent. always got pyrol on hand and use it at least once on every batch, but only had to get it for the sake of bringing in foreign plants as contact treatment for the shit your eys can't see. when I spray Pyrol I spray only Pyrol 30 to 35ml / 1Lwater, strong dose, but not full dose. rest of the time it's BioNeem 70% dose one week, Copper Soap 70% dose next week, Sodium Bicarbonate full dose last week and then repeat rotation.... not that anyone was asking the ladies1 point

This is more off topic Man i hate CoolIdeas, the internet service provider. Moving all off, what a bunch of useless morons they have in support. i have seen some incompetent techs... those guys beat them by light years. They dont understand the word "today" and use it way to often.1 point

Big flower tent keeps on pumping. Looking at roughly two weeks before chopping the most developed ladies. KmintZ ZxP ZxP (Young) Wedding Cake Some of the KmintZ clones still look like they are revegging and have some funky looking top leaves. I had initially kept the lights on 24hrs during the beginning of the reveg and then later switched back to 18/6, but I am going to switch back to 24hrs until every plant, including the Wedding Cake clones, look like they are completely in veg stage. I think I will top the Organic Tent™ in the next day or two and begin their training.1 point

Week 5, it's the same as the KmintZ but the ZxP looks almost more mature from the amber pistols even though they were put into flower at the same time. I want to push the ZxP this time around and see what kinda colours come out.1 point

Here's a picture update of the plants in the flower tent; KmintZ ZxP x2 ZxP x6 Wedding Cake Overview1 point

I have potted the KmintZ clones, 8 in total. I will only need 6 of them, but you can never be too careful with a new strain! The Wedding Cake plants will soon be potted into the flower tent, thinking maybe another week. I have also weighed the trimmed tops of the ZxP, as well as the Gorilla Zkittlez. After I have trimmed the bottoms of the ZxP, I will add it to the total with the tops, but for now the ZxP weight only includes the tops. ZxP Tops: 115g Gorilla Zkittlez: 173g1 point

I've had no problems with budbuddies.co.za and got freebies. I would never try to enforce the CPA on a seedbank that just crazy imo1 point

Sad to report that the crop was a writeoff. Couldn't escape the days of high humidity. Lost the best and thickest buds first. Lesson learned. Planting even later next season. Gonna take a shot at a winter grow and firing up the tent since things are cooler... and dryer. Have plenty of babies lined up for take 2.0 points
