  1. Today I decided it’s time for more wattage in the tent. It is going to be cold next couple of days. It also looked like they can handel more light. I am only on the 185hlg the other one will be kicked into action when we reach flowering.

  2. Oooooh man it's been a while So this season has been a hectic one and as life goes we can't spend all our time doing the things we love Gonna be a short update of the last pics I got in my gallery as my notes on some of the strains I tried out for the first time are a mess atm Tortoni by @Totemic Easy to grow - I struggled to keep it around the size I would've wanted; side branching can easily get out of control and plant will definitely need supports/ties if you plan on growing it a decent size - I'm really bad with picking out specific terps but I can definitely say it's terpy AF. 3. Outside plants looking nice and frosty, much like our weather at the moment. I may do this more often, veg indoors then finish up outside. Maybe do some Indica's next, they're generally better in the cold. Indoors not doing badly, despite clawing. Needing to tie a couple up to prevent falling over. Next time I'm going to get/use a net and actually spend some time shaping the canopy. Looking at between 8 and 10 weeks flowering time, which means they'll start coming down round end of month.

  4. This isn't related to this thread - but I did a open pollination with my Higher Primate pack from Bodhi Seeds (yes I mixed pollen from all the males together before brushing it on them) I hit it super early as I could not wait - it was pollenated indoors at a buddies house, I just have them over at my place in a little hot house till the beans are ready they are in like 2.5L pots Edit : 4 males and 5 females were used will make a thread once I got all my shit together

  5. That is highly likely man. Both points. Guess that i was caught up in that "mystery strain" fantasy and forgot my logic at the back door haha! Will still monitor this soldier.

  7. Welcome to the diary of my 3rd grow (technically)! After a great 1st harvest I popped some Auto seeds by a local breeder. It failed terribly. Think I'll be sticking to photo's for now haha A great friend and fellow member of the forum felt sorry for me having seen this, convinced me to let them go and gifted me 4 plants he had in Veg. 3 of which were cuts from my last grow. (Thanks buddy! @CreX) So in this diary we have 4 plants, 3 clones of pheno #3 from my last grow (Deluxe Sugarcane) and a Bananium, all from In-House genetics. Super excited for the fruits of this one! As you can see below, all 3 plants were at different stages of life and so required a bit of a change in the way I grew these. (Sorry for the bad picture) I went out and got a SCROG net, this seemed to be the only way to end with them all "Somewhat" level. I'd just keep tucking the larger 1 until the smaller 3 were able to catch up. The Bananium was not stretching as quick as id like, thats the most-left plant, raised it with a plastic bowl I had in the kitchen and flippped shortly after. They were left in Veg for a month, weren't exactly the happiest plants when received, so was happy to see it all sort itself out once put in bigger pots and given some food. I'm still going with BioBizz nutrients, in Veg I switched between Bio-Grow and Fish Mix and used both alongside Bio-Heaven. Sticking with 50% strength for this grow, and have been watering at a PH of about 6.3-6.6. Having a slight pest issue this time around, I believe they're fungus gnats, opinions on them seem to vary but I'm managing with them it seems. Trying different ways to get rid of them without the use of pesticides as I have just entered the 3rd week of flower. Here's how they're looking now, will try update once a week from here. My 2nd net looks super sloppy, it's too big and doesn't make for good pictures, but here it is.

  9. Howzit growers! I've been observing an extremely hardy plant thats been growing in a certain location for the last year. This plant seemed to survive the whole year, maybe even longer before i started noticing it growing randomly in a private estate. No care given and only rain water as far as i can tell. Very dark green, compact structure and most importantly, what sparked my attention was that there still is no sign of flowering. Could this be an original landrace strain from the Zim/Mozam builders that dropped a seed perhaps? Will take a pic soonest and post. Don't want to draw attention to the plant

  10. Ja scheme that i'm going to take a cutting. It might be something special or not...Those crackheads don't care about strains. Mix is mix vir n bottelnek haha!

  11. Stormtrooper Chocolate Jedi by @Bay Seeds (I hope I remembered the name correctly) Plants were a bit fussy at first and I just couldn't keep up with feeding them, interesting smell, can only describe it as funky in a good way I forgot what plant this was, it is one of the strawberry crosses though So unfortunately the strawberry crosses got bud rot and I spotted it to late ..... so uhh yeah

  12. This thread isn't really about this breeder or strain but I'll dump it here. Oni Seed Co - island G (plant 5 got 2 females and only one made it - left to long and it started throwing nanners

  13. Beach Bum x Holy Cherry (or I call it Holy Bum ) I struggled getting them going but the 3 females I had were all super unique, for some reason I don't have a pic of the 3rd. But all I'm going to say is that if you like making dry sift or ice water hash you'd probably love hunting a cut of this stuff. Bonus Pic SO after hanging I had to move it from one cupboard to anther, cleaned out the bottom of the cupboard and sifted through my grinders keif catcher and man this stuff produces some CHUNKY resin heads (Please excuse the kek lighting) - Still going to be a while but I will post pics after my dry sift run of this stuff

  14. It is possible that a light shines on it at night this preventing it to flower. Very kak soil preventing it from growing big.

  17. Have heard a few stories of impossibly large cannabis plants and have personally seen a number of large cannabis "Trees" (3-4m tall and wide/25cm dia main stem) that seem to defy their standard cannabis genetics. Its difficult to think that they grew that large in 1x season, possibly the plant revegged naturally from the previous year?

  18. I also thought that it could be male but not even any sign of male flowers. This plant is getting full sun and flowering was supposed to be triggered by now. Ruderalis perhaps with a continuous lifespan? Haha if that even exists...Im just speculating for i've never seen a plant going for over a year without flowering at all.

  19. Next batch of ZxP has been chopped this morning. 5 colourful plants in all, and some nice full buds hanging off the branches. I am going to slightly modify my usual harvest routine. Usually I would remove all the big fan leaves and then lay the branches on a dry net in a closed empty grow tent. This time around I am going to hang the whole plants upside-down in an empty grow tent. My intention is to slow down the drying process and to put a little more emphasis into a proper cure, seeing as I have some good stock for once and am not in such a rush to get my fix This is looking to be some of the best ZxP I have grown yet. Now to get a full tent of it!

  21. Should update here, but things have happened as I thought they would, lazy gardener mentality, so these plants have become quite an annoyance not because of anything really but because of the street lights causing all the plants to slow flower down as well as revegging seen on the one GG4 clone, other control one going on with flowering, So they have still be getting nutes but not as often as I was away, they got a 0,5ml p/L dose before I left them. you will notice I moved all the plants out on the astroturf, next to the shade cloth, the street light in question is in a south west position, so they in a more shaded dark place at night. At the time I moved them I thought to go and have a look at the weather to see when’s the next earth watering, pm doesn’t stop for nothing anyway, let’s see if we can fight all battles ☝ Gg# clones below Sugar widows below sugar widow control buds sugar widows experiment buds gg#4 experiment buds revegging Gg#4 control buds the situation

  22. ZxP is 8 weeks tomorrow and the Wedding Cake is 7 weeks. The ZxP is looking ripe for the picking, so I will probably turn the taps off tonight. The Wedding Cake still looks a bit green and glassy so it will keep going, maybe through to 9 weeks. ZxP Wedding Cake My Organic Tent™ is at 3 weeks into flower and is pushing some good flower already. I am going to bump up the Biobizz ratios a bit. I have been alternating between feeds and fresh water so far. I am impressed with the results of the Biobizz nutes.

  23. @Naughty.Psychonaut, yea probably right, but it's only some of them, and not much I can do about ot now. It might be the medium, or the fact I use same feeding throughout veg and flower. The crystal's are looking good though, and no signs of PM, which is my main goal for this one. I'll add a couple of blocks of coco to the substrate for next grow, and maybe just use the greenhouse powder on veg. Need to try some of the 'flower power' nutes now available.

  24. What's up man. I am doing several different things with trim and fluff. I have started pressing some of the fluff through 90micron bags, not big yields but not bad in colour. I haven't had the time to press everything or wash. I have only done 3 presses and smoked up the first ones. I did however use a 160micron sift screen and ran all my trim over it. Got a fair amount of dry sift hash which I also pressed with a 37micron bag but my yield was not great. I got just over 10%. I think I prefer what comes out after a wash and then pressing. I have gotten 40% before out of pressing bubble hash.

  25. So this diary has kinda come to an end. I harvested most of the plants last night, both Critical Banana look really nice. Will sample and inspect further once dry and trimmed and decide which pheno I will be keeping however so far I am very keen to run the Critical Banana again. The GG Wedding Mints improved a bit towards the end, I took some quick pics of each pheno. Will run them again and hopefully get better results, if they are not better than I will probably drop them from my rotation. I expected more from them. The In House Strains came out looking amazing and beautiful! Both the Bananium & Platinum Punch, such a rewarding strain to grow as the trim is easy and the buds sparkle nicely. Nice dense nugs. The one Zweet Inzanity ended up hermieing quite badly and pushing balls. The Citradelic Sunset came out alright, big, heavy bud with decent frost. This is a strain I have since dropped though. The one Crescendo was lacking frost and very unhappy, the other one is still in the tent as she went into flower 7 days after the others. The Banizzle and Pineapple Chem are also both in the tent still, giving them a but more time to mature. The Pineapple Chem actually split her stem while I was in the tent, the one cola flopped over. So I had to do some surgery with electrical tape. Yield looks as if it will be really good and frost does not look terrible, nowhere near the level of frost from the In House Genetics plants but a reasonable amount. I will try post some bud pics once some of the bud is dried and trimmed, especially of the GG Wedding Mints & Critical Banana. They were the 2 I was most excited for, perhaps more excited for the GG Wedding Mints but turns out the Critical Banana seemed to be the better plant this time around - although neither of mine had the nice colouring of the pheno I posted earlier in this thread.

  26. Evening greenfingers, Hope the hands and fingers are holding up, trimjail is not funny and good trimming scissors are worth their weight in gold or bud, whichever you prefer... Still have a few big sativa ladies still going, uuhhmm....what is left of them after the lekker k@k weather. Wasnt as bad as DBN and southcoast but still wasnt funny. Enough broken, snapped and twisted branches, even with our diy "storm netting" in place. Just mend and save what you can and cut off what you can't. 1-2. 3x Swazi bagseeds with good vigour, had a time controlling their stretch. 3-4. Lemon Fire looking a little worse for wear but her buds look good. 5-6. Blueberry clone showing some an excellent bud to leaf ratio. All droopy after the weather but soldiering on. 7. Start of the winter batch, all clones. Fruitpunch f2 and f5, Golden Malawi, WWxMango. They'll be small, but winter terps are something else. Growers' reserve.

  27. Latest harvest is dried and jarred, and the numbers are in! I will update the first post with the totals. ZxP x2 - 65g KmintZ x4 - 159g I'm busy giving the KmintZ a cheeky tester now. It has a diesel, gassy odor. Even just after a week cure it already smokes well, but it still has a bit of a grassy taste. The high is slow to come, but it hits relatively well. This strain also seems to give me a hectic apatite. However, it doesn't quite hit the mark for me, so it will likely be dumped from the stable. That means the only strains remaining in my stable are the ZxP and Wedding Cake. Speaking of the Wedding Cake, check the frost development on the leaves below. I have to wear a long sleeved hoodie when working with the Wedding Cake or else I get absolutely covered sticky with resin. The terpenes coming off of it are also fantastic. Lastly I'd like to give an update on the Organic Tent™. It is currently 12 days into flower and is looking great. I've got a good spread going with each branch of the respective manifolds and they are beginning to push flower pistols. I seem to have a consistent 4-5 tight stems per branch which should be more than enough for some solid buds to develop from. There are no stems growing from below the net whatsoever.

  31. Week 7, the sherbet crasher has definitely been in the tent way too long, It should have been cut down long ago. However the plants are nearing the end so just going to wait a few more weeks. As for the others, I cannot wait for the rerun. And then this was actually about the soil recipe, I’m happy with the recipe, just would possibly have done a few things differently. This is just something I’m pondering as some plants were happy in the soil and others not so much, some neither here nor there. once the run is complete, I will decide weather I will be adding in optional recipes similar to this one, but just more forgiving.

  32. I had some problems with my plants, the sun was burning them to hell and a grass hopper killed two of the seedlings. I bought a cheapo light from takealot and put them in under the stairs with a 120mm PC case fan, they are doing a lot better now and growing like crazy, I’ll tell the SO I want a tent and some odds and ends for my birthday this year. I think for now my setup is working fine. Few things I learned is to give them less water, plant the seeds deeper next time and the smell is quite pungent even if they are still small. I still need to figure out how many males and females I have and get rid of the males, because I doubt they are fem seeds.

  33. Oh man if only I could tell you there wasn't a single problem With the rain we had during summer I ran into a lot of issues but honestly I just left them alone and a lot of them pulled through fine

  36. I gave away my pepe le pew plants to someone who really wanted them and I'm left with the strawberry crosses I honestly don't remember which is which at this point as I transplanted them but forgot which one went where and my stoned ass didn't bother to re-label the plants

  40. Strawberry Crosses (Strawberry Cuda and Strawberry Jedi) only x2 of each survived the first week, think my soil was to much for them as it's a potent seedling mix (I usually use it for pumpkin and baby marrow seedlings since they are such heavy feeders)

  41. Unfornetly no pics this week, but the all the photoperiod strains are almost about to pop through the soil. Will update next week once they pop up.
