  4. Organic Tent™ has just hit week 5. There is already a little bit of fade developing, I'm pretty sure it's because of the cold. Night time temps in the tent are occasionally hitting 17C. The terpenes smell very crisp, sharp and sweet. The buds are also looking plump and healthy. Here's to the tail end of flowering! Will I see you again, PM Bro and Mr. Bud Rot? Hope not! I have also recently finished trimming the latest ZxP harvest. The buds look very nxa. I want to cure this batch for a full 2 months before even doing a tester Next I must trim the Wedding Cake harvest, it is still busy hanging and drying.

  5. So they are really starting to grow faster now. Gave them a good watering/feed on Friday. Today just a good watering. The sour diesel from seed stocker is showing no pre-flower yet. The Sour Apple from Humboldt seed company is just starting to flower. Gorilla cookies was stunted but after the feed is also looking better. And the 2 kushes have got lekker wife leaves and are looking good. Bobby’s widow plants are catching up now. The are 65 day strains.

  9. Hello 420sa members, Sunday is always a good day for a small bit of gardening, my garden is a wreck at the moment, but we are still kicking, some updates on the plants, I think they are flowering better here, let’s see how it goes. the experiment plant of the Gg#4 clone is setting up for its second flower and I couldn’t leave it in its 10l pot as I would certainly run into issues, so I gave her the 40l of used soil well depleted, and will still be feeding, now more aggressively, they both will it 1ml p/L today. Gg#4 experiment plant, then cut off all the lady bits and topped her so let’s see how that does for her Gg#4 control buds sugar widow control, starting to make her way into flowering, nice stack on this plants, nice leaves Sugar widow control , getting some frost very similar Structure also stacks very well, these plants are the type I’d definitely want to grow again @Totemic and pm is running wild in these parts but we treating as we go and they are surviving. Yielded a Gg#4 experiment tester, this one with nutes, let’s see how she smokes, I will be honest

  10. We are getting really close to having retail products that are just as good and as cost efficient as going DIY. For a long time, you had to build your own QB then guys like @Light It Up came along to essentially take the same DIY formula but get the parts for you and basically have it ready setup for you. One really big consideration I keep in mind with LEDs is what happens when you hit your rated 50000 hours of use, what are you going to do? Are you going to replace your entire LED fixture? Can you replace the diodes alone? I know for a fact that the QB panels I use you can easily remove the QB288 board with the diodes on it and just simply replace it. They aren't even grossly expensive, the most expensive parts of the QB is the heatsink and then the driver, both of which you can keep. So when it comes to the new Lumii LED, and let's throw in that GIB lighting LED as well, can the diodes easily be replaced at end of life? I gave it a serious consideration as I needed to recently purchase lights for a 1.2x1.2 tent and I ended up getting two 240W QBs for R6k

  11. And just like that, no more braai days for AntZilla. It's that time of the year, mist hangs around till 10ish these mornings and the first sign of bud rot. Small but it's the start. Had flash backs of Haunted Kush Cake what with the aromas, colour and ease of trim. Another one of my threads closed. Thanks for tagging along.

  12. Today I harvested the Wedding Cake just past 8 weeks into flower. The fade was looking substantial and I wasn't going to get anymore with the bud development. The PM was also starting to get a little overbearing. The frost on the sugar leaves and bud is looking real nice and the terpenes are fantastic! Very sweet vanilla scents coming through. I am very excited to give this a smoke. Things to improve on; I think there is a lot I can still do with this strain. First off I want to train this strain like I have been doing the others. I think in this way I will get some more consistent and larger bud size. You can also see how the bottom branches did the flop again, so better use of the net will also be necessary. Otherwise, I think it's a better run than the last Wedding Cake I did. I've taken down a lot of notes and I think I will be able to nail it on the next one.

  13. This type of genetics gets to a decent enough size to almost chop early if necessary. I wonder if it could be forced to flower fast resulting in a faster finisher by means of lower light hours and less overall nutrients. Either way, you could even ride it out slowly and finish with massive colas. The taller one had more frost, the shorter one not so much, Saw more of the slurri traits in the taller, however I enjoyed the shorter one to smoke.

  14. @Bay Seeds mixed autos enjoying the last rays of the day. Pic 1 @ 68 days in 10l pot. Pic 2 @ 68 days in 20l pot. Then some youngsters @ 38 days in 3l pots. Last pic. Every sundown the ladies are brought inside to chill under 85W until sunrise. Lights out from 4am till they taken outside.

  15. So things have changed a bit with the indoor setup. It's been switched off. Life and Eskom. So my auto grow now is mother nature from about 9am-6pm then under supplemental 85W light. Dark period (light off) 4am'ish till I take them outside at 9am'ish. Pic 1-3 sprouted 02/03. So 2 months +. Rest of the pic's are a mix of 1 month and some old. I can kick myself for fucking things up with the Strawberry Vostok F2 grow looking at these ladies.
