I bought a dab rig from The High Co and tried some of the hash pressed dab and jissis, this shit is another level neh. You dabber mense have been having this cool little party up here with this extra level of highness I'm thankful for my tolerance or I'd probably be fast asleep by now. I did over cook one shot and it fecked my nail up a bit but I managed to clean it out for the most part. I'm quite surprised at how smooth it is. Coming from a past of ripping water bongs I sort of expected it to be super harsh but a well timed heat and pull is great
I'm never throwing trim away again!
I highly suggest to move them indoors over night. Try not to shake the pot to much when you move them.
Yes, the temperature took 15 seeds out as I left em out over night and got just cold for one night. 2 of those 15 survived and never got bigger as 10-15cm. Bonsai weed, tells you that things went really wrong.
Aaah, gotcha.
So this is what you would use to determine whether or not you need to either potentially flush the soil or feed it, depending on the reading/s?
Thanks, some great info here.
I only want to get them on the roof after about 3 weeks when they're a bit stronger. Thoughts? Or should I start with as much sun as possible? And what about at night? Should I consider moving them indoors until they are a bit stronger?
Good to know. I picked them because they were listed as easy to grow, no other reason. I intend to keep some kind of grow diary, yes.
Too cold?
Beautiful!
I don't have much other option apart from waiting until it's spring. I'm pretty much going to treat this as a learning curve and hope for the best.
Also, if I get 25g per plants I'd be quite happy, to be honest. For clarification, I actually smoke very little and when I used to buy anything I would typically get 2-3g every 3-6 months, so a large yield will be way more than I could ever need. I'm probably going to give most of it away (if there is any to give away).
Nope, not scared at all. Even if it fails at least I will have hopefully learnt something.
I've had a brief dig around on some of the other members' stuff but will check those out for sure, thanks! I picked those strains purely because they were all listed as easy to grow.
Anyway, let's see what happens.
Howzit,
Does any one make their own cartridges? What have you found works or is a total gimmick? I personally only figured out how to recently. But would like to here your experiences. It is awesome to use it around no cannabis smoking people no smell. Well almost.
This! Is! The! Way!
I have sometimes gone weeks without smoking flower and just smoked rosin instead. It's also a nice way to give your lungs abit of a break. I don't know if you know but "cold starting" is the best way to spare your nail/banger.
Rosin is the future.
Decided to give this one the chop today.
Round the 90 day mark.
Milky with about 20% amber under the microscope.
Toight and sticky bugs with a fruity smell.
I hear you, which is why I started this thread in the first place. I live under no illusions about my chances. However, TBH I'm not sure I can wait that long as I'm just extremely excited to get going.
The way I see it, worst case scenario I lose a few hundred bucks in seeds, best case I get something, even if it's small, in return and learn something for the next round. Also, indoors isn't really an option at this point, for various reasons.
Would one like this be a good option as an all in one to measure both the EC PPM and PH?

My suggestion would be to wait until August. In the mean while save up and buy a 75w grow light from GrowOpz. You will also need a fan. Then you can grow to your hearts content. June and July is not good for growing outdoors.
Nutrients or salts are conductive. This meter can test the soil runoff water and give you an idea of how much nutrients or total desolved salts are in the soil.
Thanks for the advice. I have, as mentioned, purchased a 30l bag of the Orgasoilux which has been recommended to me by a friend and it's also the most popular soil according to the lady at the grow shop. It has a good amount of perlite already added in, as far as I'm aware.
Excuse my ignorance, but what is the PPM meter for? Is it the same as a PH meter or different?
I'd be happy with smaller plants as I'm not interested in maxing out the yield. They will sit in as much sun as I can give them until about week 3-4 when I move them to the roof, where they'll get pretty much whatever is on offer throughout the day.
Haha, thanks! Baptism of fire, and all that...
Thanks for the tips, it is appreciated.
My intention was to germinate them in water and soaked toilet paper first until the main root sprouts before planting in the Orgasoilux. I purchased one 30l bag today along with some clay pebbles. I think should be enough for all 4 plants? That would equate to roughly 7.5l per plant along with a bottom layer of pebbles of a few cm thick. At least that's what I'm planning to do.
The is definitely 2 phenos of the Bobby’s Widow. One with extremely fat leaves and one that is more white widowy. Now just waiting for the magic to happen.
