So the case was in the Cape High Court yesterday. The defence and state made their cases why it should or should not be legal. It was basically an application to the court to say if Cannabis clubs are legal under the September 2018 Constitution Court verdict. If they win this there is going to be an increase in clubs across the country. They expect judgement to be handed down next week. Still waiting for Fields of Green for all to load the whole case on their YouTube channel.5 points

Lets skip those ISP's ^^ Friend just went to WebAfrica.. you can't open a ticket without having Whats App installed (not using any facebook products myself) so can't give her support. I tried for an hour on her Whats App to get hold of a technician telling me her login so I can install a proper router, the thingy they send is just junk Try Monday again while she has troubles connecting further as 4 meter from the thingy. Plants ^^ Autos doing what Autos do... today is last day week 7. Tallest plants center and the smaller ones to the outside towards the 4 entries. WW's clear smaller as the rest, top left plants. Have 49% humidity inside right now. I am very happy when this experiment is over.. had every single plant out yesterday to check for any PM and cleaning yellow or dried up leaves... so far so good. My ventilation keeping up so far but it gets crowded ^^ Looking forward to shut down for a bit, need a break, also fly to Europe for a few months August on. Like last year, not planting anything outdoor anyhow. WW's are ahead in flowering. GSC's are the tallest plants so far. Blue Dream the 'weakest' over all, might be temp wise. I reach 28 over day, April even had a few times over 30. The WW's also don't stretch to much and are perfect for such a mass grow. Is what you call a dress friendly plant ^^ WW's should be done in 2-3 weeks. 10 - 11 weeks total. Lets see ^^ I thought the Blue Dream would be the fastest... I was wrong or they do something i never saw.. or weather goes very wet and all ends in a white nightmare I knock on wood, so far so good. Hope I have one more month before the rain starts to go nasty.3 points

Howzit Mense, oooow I have a good feeling about the present, I think you all do. We are uniting to find a position of prosperity in the current cannabis culture, and it’s amAzeballs I might add. maybe the wool is over my eyes, but baaaa baaaa Alrighty, we have budrot, main bud on the sugar widow that was looking the best, so we chopped the kop and still fighting the good fight. Geez I don’t know how long it’s been, but maybe another week or so. I need to feed the other one again, I think I underfed the plant to be honest, anyway. then the Wilsonxlhead and Wilsonxslurri pictured below, man this slurri cross is a dam winner, the sweetest smells I have ever, so glad to be rerunning her, then the Lhead cross, is like superman weed, you’ll be doing lots of shit around the house (pictured first by that distinct sativa structure) then in order top to bottom crepes, lhxwilson, slurrixwilson, gg#4 (flower time!) All the best!2 points

I made a plan to visit Nature's Farmacy in Vredekloof, Durbanville side, yesterday. There happened to be a circus themed event with competition games, DJ, MC and some food stalls in the back yard. It was a good effort. The membership sign up was quick at the door. Invoices to email and card swipes. The bud selection was good. There were non-alcoholic beverages with RSO type drops flying around. It was well supported and all the seating was packed. Quite an enjoyable afternoon but the music was a little heavies.2 points

Thanks, and agreed 100%. I guess what I'm trying to do, at first at least, is not to buy every product on the market but take a broad based proactive approach and see where that gets me. Neem seems to be as close to a 'one size fits all' product as I've been able to find, so it seems like a logical starting point. I'm sure there will be many instances where it won't work, and I'll cross those bridges when I get to them (hopefully not). D1 point

A different kind of curing jar. Did a market this past weekend and was surprised at the amount of people asking about infusing cannabis for them. All ages and walks of life. Just working on labeling now.1 point

Day 67 These six are in 3l pots. Tried putting them in order. Don't ask Meant to be top, bud and side shots. These plants are looking and smelling Lekker though. Think this is my best auto attempt so far.1 point

SlurricaneXDreamQueen: Day 60 of flower. Slightly problematic grow, but always learning. Plus I don't think it would be as exciting if I didn't fear failure.1 point

Disclaimer - I'm not sure the source from where this article was created but this is ground breaking news as this is more progressive than Ive ever heard coming out of one of these committee meeting, this may have been at the end of the Portfolio committee meeting for public hearings, but its only coming out now after the latest and greatest already came out of the public comment reviews, this may have been a separate discussion with stakeholders and MPs, some real discussion it seems. Read below, article form Cannbiz New africa Brett hilton Barber. State Concedes that Private Cannabis Clubs Might Be a Good Idea After All! Senior State Advocate Sarel Robbertse has unwittingly provided ammunition for The Haze Club (THC) director Neil Liddell’s Cape High Court application to have Private Cannabis Clubs (PCC’s) declared legal once and for all. Lidell’s case comes up on Monday 6 June 2022, just days after Robbertse told Parliament that PCCs may be a valuable tool in allowing cannabis consumers who did not have access to private property to have an alternative mechanism. Cannabis Bill Kicked into Touch – Will Resurface in Parliament in August Senior State Law Advisor Sarel Robbertse has been given two and a half months to make the Cannabis for Private Purposes Bill (CPPB) fit for purpose. Parliament’s Justice and Correctional Services Portfolio Committee met on Tuesday to hear how the State would respond to private stakeholder input on the Bill, which in its current state is clearly unconstitutional . Robbertse’s rambling response did not instil confidence in the Committee, and although he asked for 10 days to get the legislation in order, Committee chair Bulelani Mgwanashe thought it best he take more time and present again in August 2022, after the Parliamentary recess. To what extent the new version of the Bill will incorporate the work done by the Private Sector Working Group’s (PSWG) legal team is at this stage unclear, but what is clear is that Friends of Hemp South Africa co-founder M Ayanda Bam, has played a major role behind the scenes in getting an over-arching cannabis regulatory framework developed that will eventually replace the CPPB. Justice Department Says It’s Not the Right Authority to Regulate Cannabis The Justice Department has finally admitted that it is not the right body to regulate cannabis. Robbertse was at pains to point out to MP’s that he was justified in taking a narrow view of the Prince Judgement and his job was to enable legislation that allowed consenting adults to consume cannabis in private. He wasn’t expecting to have to take on the rights of traditional growers and healers, public use by the Ras Tafari and other cultural communities, as well as Private Cannabis Clubs. All that, said Robbertse, was for other Government Departments to pass appropriate legislation. Important note – it may actually be happening! Robbertse told the Committee in passing, that he was also working on amending the Drugs and Drug Trafficking Act, which industry stakeholders have identified as a major stumbling block to getting a cannabis economy going. Big Issue Coming Up: Cannabis Legalization and Substance Abuse by Youth One of the main issues Government is having to tackle is how it deals with kids, cannabis and the criminal justice system . There is evidence from abroad that decriminalization can lead to an increase in substance abuse amongst teenagers, and in South Africa it has to be taken into consideration that cannabis is the most widely-used illicit substance, and is a foundation ingredient in harder drugs like whoonga and nyaope. Portfolio committee MP Steve Swart is rightly raising alarm bells as to how cannabis legalization could harm kids.1 point

Aaah, gotcha. So this is what you would use to determine whether or not you need to either potentially flush the soil or feed it, depending on the reading/s?1 point

Nope, not scared at all. Even if it fails at least I will have hopefully learnt something. I've had a brief dig around on some of the other members' stuff but will check those out for sure, thanks! I picked those strains purely because they were all listed as easy to grow. Anyway, let's see what happens.1 point
