  1. Final tally and bud shots, tried my best, but my photography skill is poor as shit first thing, no smoke report yet so I wont be going into much detail. for now it's all about looks and weight. can give a smell, but I have realised smell means nothing if you can't also taste what you smell. so will only get to that when I smoked them all, if anyone is interested. both the Blueberry Hashplant and the Frosted Apricot got dropped before this run, so this was the last of them two and both looking the best I ever got them to look. the Frosted Apricot looks and smells to be something different completely. just showing how big a difference there can be between a winter and a summer harvest and some other minor changes. starting off with the two that you guys wont see again, Blueberry Hashplant = 67g Frosted Apricot = 42g the next few will all be grown again Chernobyl = 68g Super Cheese = 53g French Macaron = 60g she's the clear star of the show, need to regrow her in the summer to see if I can get rid of some if the purple. don't like it, will see what tastes better. Total weight = 290 Plant count = 5 Root space = 150L Light = 310w Samsung LED G/W = just below 1, which is not my best ever, but I also know why this was and as we all know the numbers, they go up then they go down then they go up a little then back down again, that's just what they do Have a blessed weekend all

  3. Most probably the case. More often than not as soon as a grow club or distributor acquires a strain in bulk they will tend to just name it to whatever they want before sending off themselves. Look for the name "Austrian Artist" as an alternative to "Hitler".

  4. Down in Plett this past weekend, bumped into the guy I chatted to about Hitler, not thinking anything, he said hey, smell this. i looked at some nugs peppered with trichomes, he said, well there it is, I said what, he said what you were after. He claimed it was Hitler, so the happy ending is we smoked it, and it was gooooood. The end.

  7. good indoor weed usually go for around 150 to 200 a gram depending on where you are. I have heard crazy stories of 350 a gram in some places then again I have heard a guy say he doesn't pay more than 80 a gram and gets some of the best stuff it all depends on where you are and then on top of that, how much you buy, a lot of sellers have price drops for bulk sales and what not

  8. Prep work in full swing. Worm bins coming along nicely and compost heap looking good. Spent the last few months clearing and leveling some ground next to the shade house then churning in some compost. 20m x 10m. Planting Fire Stick round the perimeter as part of a mole barrier. Will be using tyre's stacked two high as a raised bed with herbs and companion plants scattered around. Then a shade net sunk 500mm into ground as another mole barrier and 2m above ground as a wind break. Inside shade house I have 100l planter boxes that I'm almost done prepping. Mainly planting @Bay Seeds autoflower this season and then a variety of unknown photoperiod crosse's for my infusion projects.

  9. Here's a thorough update. My small veg tent has some well established and trained dedicated mother plants and clones being taken every two weeks. I am doing this mostly for cloning practice and to guarantee I don't lose a potential harvest again because of delayed clones. Other veg tent I am deciding on when to flip. I was thinking of considering it when the current feed in the reservoir finishes up, probably another week. Some fun in the Organic Tent™. I have completed training on some of the plants that allowed it. Two of the OMG phenos are working really nicely with training, the other two have such tight internodal spacing that I am probably just going to top them once only. The two Wedding Cake clones in the center are doing well. While training one of the OMG plants, I accidentally snapped off the one branch. I attempted to remedy it by sticking it back in place and supporting it, but it eventually just atrophied, so I shopped it off. This particular plant will then just have a single cola, lol. Finally, we are at week 6 in the big flower tent. I've removed most of the big fan leaves. Trichomes are busting and the terpenes are great. Very Autumny colours this time around with the ZxP. I am really looking forward to this one. I have also invested in a trim bin to collect some dry hash that I would like to then press for dab. The remaining trim I would then like to make some infused sunflower oil with for some edibles.

  11. Just kidding about the name but clubs definitely do change the names of strains they acquire.

  13. Well, cause of the whole blackmarket thing it really depends on your connections at times it's a whatsapp message away for me, but some people might have never seen or heard of it. sometimes months and months go by with a couple blackmarket guys in my area consistently stocking it. recently it's been more scarse cause there's like a million hype strains and every second guy grows something new so things are moving on and it's quickly becoming something of the past. with the level of trust and loyalty in our part of the world you might even find it somewhere else under a different name also

  17. All good advice and ideas . Composting and playing with soil is an ongoing thing on the reservation. Blue bins are cool but boy, they take a bit of time. I chuck kitchen scraps in my blue bin with some leaves raked up from a small yard. That then gets taken to one of 3 compost heaps. Then I have 3 very basic worm bins which I chuck in some compost and kitchen scraps and those wrigglers are multiplying at a rate leaving behind some nice castings. As for tyre's. Always going to be a tough one. I've decided to go that route though. Unfortunately they fall into the category 'free of charge laying around materials'. Started planting poles for the windbreak yesterday.

  18. Hey @DamDave hope all is well that side! I just recently took my bin apart, but for the longest time I had an old compost tumbler standing here. I would dump all my spent FF soil in there with a bag of elemental blend, give it a few spins and done. Then I unload it all into a big 100L pot to stand and cook till I am ready to use it. I always test ph and ppm before using, but in your case having to mix quite a couple of big heaps right now, a setup like this will save you a ton of back ache and if you anything like me you would do anything to get around those back aches. anyway, I know you mix once off and done, but these things really are great for making compost too, you can literally do everything inside the bin and leave it be and just rotate it couple times once every week. so it's not like there's no other uses fpr this thing. here's a few examples. first one is more permanent second one is without a pole / A frame configuration and instead have the barrel rolling on wheels, with this configurarion I would just advise to avoid swivel wheels otherwise you gona have some trouble. fix wheels would work better than these trolly wheels. last one is probably the most practical and most sensible, you could do the same thing, but lay the bin horisontally to reduce impact when you roll the bin. what happens a lot with these vertical bin systems is people flipping them too fast and having the entire weight of the medium inside fall to the bottom either damaging the bin or structure. horisontal bin gives for a more even roll and spread inside the bin. just have to roll it slowly. small wooden frame. A frame would work nice aswell. a pole. and a bin. nice little backyard project that can save you tons of time and effort in the long run. if you a guy that regularly mixes soil or wana make compost
