These got flipped to flower yesterday. The Jedi’s code and Runtz needs to veg a bit longer as I need to find the females From the OKC x GTH and gorilla Fumé plants. I have cuts of everything and the males will be kept for a project later. I know the colours are a bit off but that is what happens when the plants out grow their pots

Stealing a name, and turning it around is one of the best forms of propaganda. Must admit I cant stand some new names, including hitler, green crack etc. Personally I dont think cannabis should be associated to death, destruction and hate. My opinion counts for zero, but I will overlook strains with names like that or just rename them to suit me. We should name street jat weed, Malema. Close enough, but there was not enough space for those red hairs to show, they were just layered with tricomes.

A valid story, someone in the far East tried naming their child Saddam Hitler ( or something like that ) about 10 years ago. The birth certificate was not authorized. It made me think, cause that is exactly what I wanted to name my child. TBH, I dont think I would be that dumb, if someone gave me a good looking seed or clone of hitler and the timing was right, I would be there like a bear. I wont boast, but was just working with "malema" weed. As I say, there is good weed and better weed. Names are interesting things, but I would never name my son Dick or my daughter Fanny.

We all have our individual views, it's what makes us unique, right. We all experience and feel differently about things, done, you said how you feel, or dont have feelings, done. Isnt it fair for someone to have their own likes and dislikes? What is the reason to keep at it, there is none

I wasn't sold on the hashplant but thought I'd give it a go anyway. Mandarin cookies grew strong out the gate and stretched a lot - it looks like it could be a high yielder if it was grown with similar plants and not mixed in with shorter strains. Pineapple express was a slow starter but is looking very healthy now... supposed to stretch but I only topped it once, maybe twice and I've barely trained it compared to the others and it's the same height. Time will tell. the super cheese has been solid so far.. I think it'll produce nice buds.

The history is all about him killing millions of Jewish, so I would understand if a Jewish person didn't like to hear that name, but Germans? saying the word Hitler causes German people trauma? people can have abundant love for Germans while still speaking about Hitler. I think it's in the best intellectual interest for anyone to learn how to not involve feelings with words. If what you're saying is true don't you think the Jewish has done a better job than the Germans at not attaching their feelings to sounds people make? The Jewish basically run the world today. if someone has a break down from hearing a word, that's their problem, not the rest of the worlds problem. that's something every individual has to work on by themselves, they can't expect the world to change based on their unstable feelings. if it offends anyone, too bad. people are gona be offended by literally everything, but getting offended by history is like...... man, all I can say is it's not gona help anyone progress if we keep being sad about what happened in the past. There has been way worse people throughout our history, people who's names you don't even know. So if I say those names, why doesn't it cause any trauma? Cause it's a word, not an action. words don't carry any meaning, untill you as an individual place meaning on that word, giving it power. a good way to explain how this works is 2 individuals will feel 2 seperate ways about 1 specific word. so the variable is the individual. if words had meaning they would install and encourage the exact same feeling and emotion to everyone at any time. before or after having placed any information linked to the word. which would be impossible, cause the word and the action are two seperate things. that's why I can have love in my heart for Germans while speaking about Hitler. It takes a certain level of understanding and the other way around too, if you can't seem to distance words from emotion it indicates a certain level of understanding. a lower level at that. Hope all this came through as just a normal conversation, if anything I said was "over the line" or if you feel attacked or anything like that just know I didn't mean to and I am not trying to change your mind either. just playing my cards on the table and saying shit that needs to be said at some point.

Day 14 of flower. ferts per litre: 1ml grow, 2ml bloom, 7ml fulvates elixir. Next sunday 20ml humates/litre. Overwatered 4L per pot last time, took 4 days till next water so today 3L per pot. soil ph: 6.5 to 6.8 any advice on humates/fulvates in ff classic soil? Air movement. messed about with placement of fans. I'm not sure about these box fans... they blow a lot of wind but they're quite powerful for under the plants. I've got a couple of lithium fans coming to test out. My feeling at the moment is that: a) running just the extractor during loadshedding is not enough, the air won't be circulating in the canopy enough and b) I'd rather have 8 X 5v fans with battery backup than one 40v fan. Cost is obviously an issue but i was blown away (pardon me:-) by how much difference the little fans made in circulating passive intake air under and up through the canopy.

man, getting your environment sorted requires more work and money than I had anticipated. I've now put environment ahead of growing for this cycle... still learning on the grow but these plants have been stressed by a number of things: some understandable mistakes, some stupid mistakes and some inexplicable decisions have been made! One of my favourite things to do is break out the Mighty for a little lift and then do the days grow work so that probably explains a lot. My concern now is that I'm pretty sure I've got a case of light stress. Initially the plants reacted really poorly to the light being lowered. I had another go in late veg, dropping them 50-100mm each day. Got the light down to 600mm but that was before a few colas stared to mess up the uniformity of the canopy. I've lifted the light to 650 from the top cola's but eish, I'm not sure if I should lift it more or not.

Greetings..... All rigged and tested!. Each netbow produces the same amount and the 'drip' is constant, stable and soft!. Each netbow produces +/- 1ltr in 10 minutes. Wonder if I have to water until runoff in early grow?. I will be using fabric pots!. Anyhow, I won't be planting until October but now feel quite excited to see how this system will work. Ttfn........

I have come across this name twice , nothing on Google and had a small bud covered with that nice shiny stuff in my hands . Does anyone know this or the breeder ? Anyone have this strain ? In all reality, can someone PLEASE explain to me what actual purpose does it serve to anyone, in any kinda way, to let yourself be offended by words?? Valid reasons only please, no "I feel like this" or "I feel like that" answers. No one cares how anyone feels, do you guys care how I feel? You wouldn't even care enough to ask how I feel, let alone actually try do something about it. Exactly. Neither does anyone care about anyone else being offended. Greetings, I tried to get the 15mm pipe split evenly and 5mm pipes the same length. The system is gravity fed. Maybe it's more luck than judgement that all 4 netbows produce the same amount and in a nice soft delivery ie; won't bore holes straight to the base. Still have to see how it will work when set up with the substrate . Im only planting in October !. I'm guessing that you would probably need a reducer of some sort if you were running off mains pressure????. Trial and error scenario........... Good luck.....

niiice hahahah yeah it's a good smoke. the way I identify it, suuuuper tight rock hard small buds, snowey white/platinum frost cover, almost can't see any green only frost on the surface with the orange hairs poking through, but by far the most noticeable savoury, food-like smell and taste. kinda makes me think of the GMO everyone speaks of, the whole garlic mushrooms and onions smell, but in a pleasant-offensive way. will see if I can get a gram or two for a little showcase. I know you propbably didn't say these things but the discussion was part of this thread. here is a perfect example of how weed with a "bad" name can still be good weed. people who skip out on strains cause of the name makes no sense to me. the name has nothing to do with the weed. it has more to do with the grower, the plant can't pick its own name. so overlooking strains just cause someone doesn't like the name is like...... not giving the benefit of the doubt to a person cause of the name their parents gave them and just shut them down completely and don't give them a chance cause you don't like the name..... it's probably the most superficial thing someone could ever do. a lot of people have nicknames. imagine I called the weed "supergoodweed" as it's nickname and someone smoked it and loved it, then I tell them the real name is Hitler. What does thay mean? they already liked it, which must mean they support Hitler? lol

I can share it here in the forum but I’m not really looking to start a seedbank. I just feel we have to preserve what we have. And not spend our hard earned cash on expensive seeds.

Just smoked some of that Buddah recently and also grown it. Very nice smooth smoke, abit on the sweeter side but such a lovely smoke.

Sounds about right. All of this sounds like marketing hype to me. The story I understand from a respected cannabis grower and horticulturist is the original "hitler" was stolen in flower form, renamed. Around the time of when people say it was reaching market was the time a big bust happened in CT. The original was Elvis x CT Exodus cheese, the guy who originally grew it was not a breeder, no clones. Happy hunting unicorns. Shitty name too for 6000000 reasons. That narrows it down.

Just wanted to give some input here, as there's a lot of misinformation about Hitler and a lot of it is still kept very close to the circle that it originated from. I want to share some information without pissing anybody off, because the reality is that the grower who supplied most of the country doesn't want the lineage out there, understandably so, sometimes these things are worth holding close. But the short of it, is that it's likely a clone-only pheno which is held by a couple of people at most. There's been a lot of fake Hitler cuts sold and some people are still convinced they have it when they don't. I've handled a fair bit of Hitler through friends who were getting supply directly from the grower for bulk resale, and it's quite a unique flower that is easy to identify, both visually and just by the taste profile. Having smoked a 20+ grams myself, I can't say there's anything in there to suggest Cheese. Structurally, the bud resembles a lot of OG cuts, and I'd venture to guess that it's an OG hybrid. The terpenes also seem to suggest it with earthy, lime, gassy notes mostly prevalent. Again, structurally it looks a lot like OG, or even perhaps an OG x Cookies cut as there is a resemblance to some Animal Cookies phenos, and the level of trichome coverage and smaller nug size is a little atypical for most OG cuts. A buddy moved several hundred Gs of it also seemed to think it was likely an OG dominant cut as well. Smoking some Hitler hash rosin from the grower, it also seemed to carry those same muted, earthy, lime notes. Again, I've heard at least 10 versions of what Hitler is. But I think there's probably only a handful of people that know the answer to that. This type of thing is common in America, where cuts are found from seed and then renamed for marketing purposes and also sometimes to conceal lineage. Once lineage is out there, others can try and refind the pheno and take a chunk of the market for themselves. So the way Hitler was handled, was definitely very smart from a business sense. But also incredibly frustrating for those of us who love digging into lines and seeing which traits come from where. Here's an image of one of the first batches of Hitler that hit the market here around Cape Town circa late 2018 / early 2019. Just to close, I'm no authority on the details of Hitler and I respect the desire for the lineage to remain hidden, but these are just my thoughts from smoking a fair bit of it.

I know of a grower that was growing this on a large scale it was where most of the stock in the western cape came from but I have lost you h with him as he was giving bulk stock at rediculous prices because of the hype that surrounded it when it was going around ... I must confess I'm an indica fan but when I hit the first bowl of this through glass it reminded me of a bump back in the day of really good cocaine... Now I know that'll get some people ranting but I know what I felt and that's what I can relate it to the best I was washing the dishes cleaning the flat and wanting to chat alot so what does that remind you of... Anyway that grower is in the farmlands near hermanus.... But 100k for 1kg that's absolute madness if you buying in hydroponic indoor 1kg at a time the price never exceeds R85-90k and that's next level artisanal grown hydroponic indoor R50-60k is normally what I'd expect to pay though anyway it was super dank but I think that was then nowdays that type of quality and potency is available far and wide these days I even own a online despensary with an app to download to order just like take out so things are moving in this industry since then that's for sure

I try to keep myself from "political" discussions, soooo just for interest sake... you guys hear of a strain with the name "God Bud"? how you feel bout that name seeing as the killing of people in the name of religion is a war that is still ongoing to this day? there are a bunch of names I feel is so wrong for weed, but then again there's that "punch" behind the words we all like. we all know the word "dank" means it stinks and is unpleasant or moist... that don't sound right... but we all know why that "bad" discription is used, it catches attention. part of marketing is trying to catch attention and get people talking bout the very thing. as we are right now. this, by no means, justifies the glorification if anything that bares tragedy, but governing what people are allowed to call strains, what would be the calling? and who get's to draw the line, and where? because, like I mentioned the religion thing, atleast 50% of humans are very well religious and will defend their religion to the grave, other 50% of the people just live life according to their moral compass. you can dictate and say "No more bad names with negative connotation for weed strains", then the whole world agrees and next day some guy wants to call his bud "god bud" because he feels there's no negative energy. that will cause even more negative energy than just not telling people what to think in the first place, or what to call their weed... you have the option to support it or not support it, buy the seed or not buy the seed. but sadly we don't have the option to tell people what to name their weed or how to feel about the names that are given to them. I will say this though, it's a damn hard hitter strain that I would like to grow myself, because I am after the weed. Not like I am contributing to the "Support Hitler Foundation" in any way, shape or form. I also don't see how I will be glorifying him if I grow that plant? I will have good weed, that's for sure.

Hahaha, never heard of it but an interesting name for a strain. Depending on where you got it from, it's very possible it is another strain just renamed. Someone could have just made it up as well. Curious to see the outcome
