  1. Getting crowded. Will need to get rid of the photoperiods soon and relace with cheese and ana99 autos. Its sad but ill probably compost them all. They wont finish, then reveg and get massive and out of control. We tried moving one downstairs but its a real kak heavy mission. I also dont want to trigger forum members by killing them all but I need the space and living soil for autos. These baby autos will finish 3 full cycles before any of the photoperiods finish.

  2. Flower time… for the big girls. Have the space to keep the chem dogs back for another week or 2 to get them to a better size

  3. So spring has sprung, and while it was an uneventful winter for me on the growing front, i decided to start a few autos. I have very limited experience with them, and want to change that. Especially since I only have a veg area now, plus i get to squeeze in a harvest or 2 before Christmas. Thanks to @SkunkPharm and@Bay Seeds I have plenty to test out, and have been staggering planting weekly since last week of July, so they are between 1 and 6 weeks. They are outdoors on sunny days and under lights at night and in rainy weather. Ill probably be making a few seeds from 1 or 2 plants, but just to make more seeds for myself.

We are looking for influencers who will showcase their entire growing journey well promoting the above mentioned two brands. If you're interested or know of someone please send an email to Richard - richard.larrett@futurama.co.za Thanks Canna Community and we look forward to hearing from you! :) Team Futurama

  5. You going to love them. It’s still a good idea tho to give each pot a quick weight test every other day. I had a few instances where my pipes got blocked (yes I never cleaned them properly after the last grow) which resulted in the pots running dry, only discovered by droopy leaves after a few days! I also had frikkin fungus gnats for the first time, presumably because I tried using my coco for a second run, and also probably overdid the top watering while waiting for the Autopot start date. I nailed this little bastards with a spray, they didn’t like that mootie one little bit. Oh and genetics genetics genetics. I planted what were meant to be auto’s. Turns out these spindly plants were photo’s, by the time I realised this they were already 6 foot tall and growing. I had to top all of them since they were hitting the top of the tent. Then I changed to 12-12 and they started to flower. One of the 3 plants was covered in seeds, everywhere. Kak’ed myself and chopped it down. Still don’t know how that happened, must have hermied Cos no others did this. If these things were outdoors they would be 10ft tall. On a lighter note genetics genetics genetics. Last batch was for Ethos and looking excellent.

  6. Seedlings don't need fertigation so early, your amendments in the soil should be sufficient, a compost tea or micro organism innoculant(as mentioned above) will help. But being autos you need to be carefull, the last thing you want to do is stunt the seedlings this early.

  10. Hey I have had endless problems with WPM and have tried almost all so called fixes. What has worked for me is to try to eliminate root cause first otherwise you will constantly battle; 1. Decent extraction 2. Multiple Fans (blowing underneath the canopy as well as above. Don’t worry about wind burn. Crank the fans to max as long as they oscillate 3. Feed in the morning rather than evening 4. Avoid plant leaves touching each other. Prune if you have to 5. Prune bottom ⅓ before flip to flower 6. Invest in a dehumidifier if budget allows Treatment: I use 50% Hydrogen Peroxide mixed at a ratio of 60ml to 940ml plain water (1L total volume). This will give you a 3% concentration which is relatively mild. Wear gloves and a dust mask, switch off the main lights (do 1 hour before lights off, depending on qty of plants), switch off fans but keep extraction going. Spray each plant, completely top to bottom, literally drench the plant. Take it a bit easier on the buds, but it’s ok if you spray them. Work methodically and don’t miss a spot. When complete, switch fans on max so the plants will be dry before lights come back on (water spots will create burn marks on the leaves) Repeat above process on day 3 to catch any spots you might have missed. If WPM is still hanging around a few places, repeat again Although this mix is mild, avoid contact with your skin. If you do get some on your skin, water and soap will fix it. It will most likely burn the pistils but that’s not really a big deal. I haven’t found that this affects smoke or aroma/taste of the finished product I found about a 80% improvement the following day after the 1st treatment. Follow up spray is important to try to break the cycle. Loadshedding always creates a WPM rich environment. No air movement and high RH are perfect for WPM. Try to get some air movement in your grow area while power is off, where possible Sorry for the long post, but this is by far the best treatment I have experienced to deal with the issue Bud Wash: 1 x bucket with warm water. Add Hydrogen peroxide at the same ratio as above (60:940) 1 x bucket Lemon Juice & BiCarb 1x bucket cold water Submerge for a few minuets in each bucket in that order. Rinse off with gentle spray, I use hose with gentle spray, and it will wash away a big amount of WPM. I swing the branches to remove excess water, then hang straight away Good luck with the fight man, it’s a major pain in the ass and can ruin your buds, but hopefully this helps

  11. So I am unable to easily raise the height of my 100L flexitank for my autopots, however it does not seem to be an issue and almost empties my flexitank despite everything being on ground level. Autopots are still very new to me, busy with my first grow with them still so will continue to monitor it and see how it goes - so far loving the fact that I do not need to water manually and can simply topup the res without any further adjustments.
