  2. People sit on their asses for 12 years and don't care about Load Shedding ^^ what do you expect? A court told government to have the private use law implemented by October 2020.. what year we have? Honest answer.. the ANC head members only care about one thing.. how to exploit this country the most for their own personal profits. The really really sad part is that people still vote for those morons after 28 years... 28 years of constant going down in country wide services. Get those farts out first, then you can reorganized your money raped dry country, it really needs it. Sorry... Tourist shouldn't yell as loud, but I really like the vibe down here.. just have to shake my head after each nation wide vote. Any women voting for the ANC just makes my eyes widen very far... violence against them is off the charts. Stop that, Dudes, women need protection, not violence. What real man beats or hurts a woman?? I somehow already accepted that SA will get legalization as one of the last countries... when I renew my visa, it usually took 2 months to answer. Last renewal i did, i had the visa in my hand after 1.5 years... 18 months.. for a visa renewal I run for 12 years.. 6 times renewed with the same data... your government need 18 months to stamp that off.. if I i bribe, 3 weeks.. those are numbers, ehhh? hehehehe I would highly suggest to go to the streets and not just demonstrate for cannabis.. I would suggest to fill the roads and protest against the ANC directly. Those incompetent guys gone, things can only speed up to the better. Sooo, Prom had a venting hehehehe

  4. Summer 2022 Aweh fellow florists, How's the outdoor season prep coming along? The growbeds are now more than one year in the making and just getting better. Theres no comparison to the surrounding "soil/sand". Growbeds have a 20-30cm dark humus layer and are much more "active" with all kinds of organisms. #Soilfoodweb Since the last harvest in june, we've layered more organic material, added bonemeal, rockdust, calcitic lime and multiple doses of AACT to stimulate the organic breakdown activities. The mycelium growing in the mulch layer was a cool find and a good healthy sign IMO. We've come to enjoy/prefer this organic no-till approach to outdoor cannabis growing. Reduced costs, water consuption, plant stress and IPM issues. Which means less sweat, graft and worry for the grower that must deal with any problems. After soaking, beans were planted in 9lt bags for eventual sexing, then they'll be moved to the growbeds. Cheers.

  5. So spring has sprung, and while it was an uneventful winter for me on the growing front, i decided to start a few autos. I have very limited experience with them, and want to change that. Especially since I only have a veg area now, plus i get to squeeze in a harvest or 2 before Christmas. Thanks to @SkunkPharm and@Bay Seeds I have plenty to test out, and have been staggering planting weekly since last week of July, so they are between 1 and 6 weeks. They are outdoors on sunny days and under lights at night and in rainy weather. Ill probably be making a few seeds from 1 or 2 plants, but just to make more seeds for myself.

  6. Hi, Took some seeds from a friend and they grow nicely. Perhaps it is too early, but can you tell if those plants are male or female? Also, I am not sure what weed it is, but it looks like a sativa right?

  7. Let it grow.. will start to make size again and start to flower end January. You get for sure more out as now ^^ If it is bag seed.. dump it

  8. I found that a lot of people simply didn't know about it... Things like these should be pinned or even put up as website banners, in my opinion. News like this circulates way too slowly in 420 communities.

  9. Eish, sounds bad. Perhaps I should not have planted in winter... Should I throw them away? Can I use them for something?

  13. I suggest while you wait to plant some cover crops, to get some roots in the soil. The only way to get the best diversity of microorganisms in the soil that will best support your main plants is to grow cover crops, all different types to encourage a nice diversity, and also to keep the soil covered. the sun hitting the soil pushes the microorganisms down about 3-4 inches, making your soil ageing less productive. Then you can work that nitrogen back into the soil and you’ll have a great source of easily digestible nitrogen, without interfering with the roots that have developed, chop and drop, will create real good aggregation too.

  14. Holding the grow in high hopes Mr.Fisherman with autos it's one and done, no room for mistakes with those plants, no time to clone them either. I am still way too scared to try autos in fear of not doing everything 100% and ending up with only 10g. still very excited to see the grow

  15. 600w of any light will cause more kak in a 60x60 tent if you can't dim it down a whole bunch 600w of LED is even overkill in a 1m2 space. LED gardener suggests the golden standard at 300w/1m2. this is considering you got the right output in terms of K/L.

  16. The numbers answer that by default hehehe 600w pulls 600 watts, what ever consumption toy sits behind.. the LED 600 watts will just cover about double the area with enough light.. double the harvest, less heat to kill as they are now more then double efficient as a HID systems. Forget HID guys.. honestly.. the next advantage is that you can include into those diodes what ever frequency you want to add, low or high IR, UV versions, .. the goal is not to recreate the sun, that is last year tech, you want to shine on the ladies exactly what the ladies want.. and in the right intensity. The is the next big gimmick ^^

  17. I went back to Dear South Africa to check and less than 400 people have responded. I feel gutted. People just don't seem to want to help themselves. It's so easy to whine about the government, but when the opportunity arises to actually do something about it, fuck all gets done. I bet there will be a trickle of stoners and rastas "protesting" tomorrow at Parliament. Fat lot of good that's going to do. We have legal processes for our democracy, and public comment on new Bills carries weight legally. Street protests do not.

  18. So I'm just waiting on some more soil before I collect any more tyres. There are about 10 autos in tyres and in the ground for now. Still cold and very damp here, till 10am some days it's misty. Purple peas, black beans, tomatoes, mint, spuds and a chilli plant growing in the tyre garden as well. In ghe shade house autos at varies ages. They having a hard time but growing. I'll get into more detail later. Ran a test on some homegrown seedling soil from our landlady. 128 photoperiod seeds into a tray. 92% germination in 7 days. Thats 118 from 128. Will start the autos en mass mid October probably early November. Sent from my SM-A032F using Tapatalk

  19. A 110w led is plenty for a 60x60 tent. 240w is overkill .

  20. You get to that point where your oldest soil bed is your best soil. Dark, alive. Nothing beats the ease of growing in healthy living soil that has been looked after. What strains are you growing?

  21. Agreed. IMO in an organic or No-till situation it is more critical to support and conserve the Soil Food Web than just mixing a whole bunch of amendments into the soil without giving thought to HOW it will be made bio-available to the plants.

  22. One must remember that most nutrients available to plants come from bacteria and fungi in and no till organic system. Bacteria die and become food for the plants. Plants give sugar in the form of carbohydrates to the micro organisms to grow. That is why it is important to always have living roots in your soil. One does not know what came first micro organisms or plants, but you can definitely see that one cannot live without the other just look at the USA their farmers are suffering and they are forfeiting their farms to banks. Any way one cannot quantify plant available nutrients with a soil test. It is more important to have living soil. The most important indicator of a living soil is the amount of worms in the soil.

  23. I just grow in it again and again and again. I add some granular organic fertiliser (Talborne VitaGrow) for veg and then add some bat guano bone meal and talborne vita fruit for flower. I also top dress with worm castings. Wurmbosch castings. I don’t do no till at this stage but I am working towards it.

  24. what do you do with your custom made soil after the grow? It must be pretty depleted at the end or no?

  26. Ok plants went outdoors to finish off. The probably have about 3 weeks left and we have been lucky with the weather. Still spraying STS on the lower branches of the CBD autoflowers but no luck yet with male flowers. Will continue though. Bobby’s Widow is a next level plant. Thick and rock hard flowers. The pretty one does not have much terps but the bushy one stinks of berries at this stage.

  27. Just a question, @Naughty.Psychonaut Take a 600w LED vs 600w HPS, both run 12 hours a day, will the 600w HPS cost you more money?
