  1. Dear Diary, It's been 2 and a half weeks since the last photo's, so here's an update. On the indoor plants, I created had an issue for myself on the 13th, I got up early, filled and mixed up the nutrient reservoir, PH'd it and off my girlfriend and I we to Cape Town for the Weekend. (Btw the way, we stayed in Bloubergstrand and was very quickly introduced to a place there called "Baked". Seriously, go there, sign up as a member (R200) of their club, and go order an indoor joint and a sativa infused Chocolate Milkshake... It was amazing. I ended up fucking unbelievably Space-X high, there is just no other way to describe it. That chocolate milkshake though is the be all and end of all of all chocolate milkshakes, it's epic. Then like 100m down the road is this place called "Tree of Life"... where I proceeded to buy a "Moon stick", which was a gorilla glue joint, rolled in chocolope concentrate and then rolled in a haze kief. You got to try one of these ) Ok back to the story (I'm so baked while writing this) - While we were flying high in Cape Town I had some issues at home... we had a 24h power outage, and a heat wave, so to his credit my step-son did manage the situation fairly well. When I got back the following Monday, the plants looked like something genetically suddenly went wrong with all of them. they have grown, but the nodes are less an a cm apart and they have all just like bushed in one place or another. After checking through everything I found that in my haste on the Thursday morning before leaving, I forgot to open the tap of the reservoir to feed the plants and they had now gone from the wednesday to the following monday without anything. I figured with the co2, the high temps, the lack of water it just culminated in the plants weird growth. To rectify it, I cut off a whole bunch of nodes to space it out a bit and then just let them grow it out. They have since recovered nicely and I have started pulling them down and out to start the growth of the flat canopy which will grow into the scrog net once it's up. The little outdoor plants I had in my tent in the first post have come along way. I've repot them into their 25L pots and they are now out on the grass for the outdoor season. I have two 50w flood lights on them at night and will be adding a 3rd this month so I that I can light them up 360 degrees. Blueberry Sunset Chempie x Purple Punch - This is by far the fastest growing plant I have ever come across. The Zombie Kush The outdoor plants will be feed a worm tea this week and hopefully they should settle into their homes nicely. These 8 plants are spread out nicely and I'm busy looking at building a 4m x 4m shade cloth canopy to try help with heat and hail. That's it for this update.

  2. Hi folks, So I haven't been active on the forum for quite some time as life got a bit hectic but hey, what's new.. I decided to post this short and sweet grow diary for anyone who is perhaps interested in growing some specific strains to have an idea of what they might get. Most of the tent is currently filled up with some Old School Genetics strains from @Golden-Goose Lineup as follows: Orange Road - OSG Old Widow - OSG MOB x Old Widow - OSG Blue D no.5 - OSG Larry OG - OSG Chempie - Ripper seeds MOB - TH Seeds Start of grow: With this grow I didn't want to spend a shitload to get it started. I used old Freedom Farms soil from previous grows. No amendments just a decent flush that left the soil rather barren. The idea was to then use left over Biobizz Grow and Seagro to get the adequate nute levels. This was a bit difficult at first but turned out alright at the end of the day. I chose a very cold and kak time to germinate the seeds and didn't have any heating pad to assist with the process. Nevertheless I only lost two seeds and had extras of them so could germinate again. With the wonky circumstances the Orange Road came out like a little mutant plant and I almost wanted to yank it and start over. A buddy advised that I let it be and boy was I happy that he suggested that, you'll see why soon. Mutant Orange Road: Vegetative stage: With all going on life wise my vegetative stage was rather uneventful. I didn't go with my original mainline training technique that I normally do and only decided to do a very late topping that I would come to regret later in flowering as stems started to flop around like a politician trying to explain himself out of kak. With the late topping I also didn't allow for a decent amount of mains to really have that even canopy and baby arm sized nugs. By this stage the Orange Road recovered but was lagging a bit in terms of size. Random Veg pics: Flowering stage: Things started to get quite interesting in the flowering stage.... I noticed distinct differences with the morphology of some of the strains. The MOB from TH Seeds was extremely bushy with exceptionally tight internode structure. The Chempie by Ripper seeds started to scare me with her stretch. I have never had a plant stretch like this. More than double the height from the flip which was mad. I could see some staking will need to done on that lady. Atleast my lighting set up has 3 different lights that are adjustable so that saved my ass with her crazy stretch. Eskom also completely fucked me without remorse and the intermittent light might have messed a bit with the plants.. I unfortunately had a hermie situation with the MOB x Old Widow by OSG at week 4 of flower and had to unfortunately chop her down.. here are some pics Chempie Stretch Hermie Late Flowering stage: At the moment I am close to the end of week 8 of flower and some beautiful terps are pushing through and buds are starting to fatten up nicely. Favourite strain in the tent is the Orange Road. She is a beast on all fronts! Frost on point, terps a mixture of gas and citrus and gargantuan buds. All the OSG strains have decent tricome production and amazing terps. The Larry OG has very unique bud development and look like stacked clubs. Blue D no.5 very long colas with quite a nice berry smell to her. Old Widow is nice and compact with quite typical White Widow structure. MOB by TH Seeds is rather disappointing on the size front but rather generous with the tricome so might make a great press for rosin. Chempie could have had bigger buds if I defoliated better and trained more rigorous but all in all it will still be smokable product. Here are pics as of today Orange road: Old Widow: MOB: Chempie: Blue D no.5: Larry OG: So that in a nutshell is my budget/not enough effort grow to date but I am quite happy. The strains are very impressive and hopefully some fade in the final stretch will prevail and a good drying, curing and smoke that lies ahead. Will do some last updates to the diary as we move through the final stages. I hope this helped some folks who were pondering about the OSG stable. Cheers

  5. Update. They got their first feed of Seagro at 0.5ml per litre. Zkittlez top still wrapped together and I keep bending it sideways everyday.
