I have weighed the other harvest, which was the Wedding Cake and OMG. Wedding Cake - 80g I would call this my flavour strain. I always get a great terpene profile from it, citrus and sweet. First time doing an organic run with Biobizz with it, not the best run in my opinion but definitely a keeper. I gave it a lazy trim as I felt the buds were not super dense. OMG - 135g Probably the most trash harvest I've had this year. This strain did not enjoy any of the training and all the four phenos mutated or stunted in some way. Although the resin was very sticky, more so than the Wedding Cake or ZxP. It also reeks like good old street skunk. I've kept one pheno to maybe try again. I gave it an even lazier trim because I think I am just going to straight up turn it into dab. If it turns out power I'll then definitely rerun it.4 points

Big tent is midway through flower. I am getting a good stack this time around; I think the lower nugs will be the most developed out of all the previous harvests. I am still mulling the idea of when to do the final defoliation, I am thinking soon. When looking closely I feel there is still great light penetration and wind movement past the plants at this foliage level, so every time I think about it, I decide to keep the leaves for the time being. When I look at the last picture, I feel like I'll just start with the most bottom leaves for now and give it another check then. This will be the last harvest of the year, and it's looking to be a mighty one to finish it off. For the most part I always end up eating shit in some way when I've tried flowering in December/January, whether it's budrot, mildew or an empty wallet from running an AC 24/7. I've grown now straight for three years and imma go take a break before ramping it up for probably another three years hopefully towards bigger things in the process. I'm going to setup my mother plants to be able to survive a week and a bit by themselves in December and be ready to be thoroughly chopped for a full steam ahead run starting January.3 points

Some LST coming soon. Just the deformation on the Zkittlez made it react well as if LST.3 points

I must say that I never understood the hype about the whole cheese thing, but after getting my hands on the real deal I now understand. The Super Cheese from Dagga Farmacy and the Big Buddha Cheese 2017 Betty Boob club winner is the best cheese I have seen and smelt.2 points

Nice growth happening. I wonder if the LST pushes the autos to perform a little harder.2 points

Ya any bottled nutrients and a fresh bag of soil. Not my type of genetics1 point

I agree it is a heavy feeder. And the nutrients needs to be available at the right time. She may do better in freedom farms with the biobizz range of nutrients.1 point

The only way I can see this type of plant performing well in my grow style is if I ran it a couple of times to get used to the soil. The plant needs a lot of available nutrients at the moment, which my system just cant supply.1 point

The Chems are a super fussy plants and in my limited experience with them take long to finish. Mine has been going for 11 weeks now and I cannot see a Amber trichome.1 point

What's up man! OK, I just got one question. I don't have any pictures of the buds I'm possibly keen on choosing for the comp just yet as I've just got 8 clones vegging and I'm looking at planting another 10 seeds or so. This is so that I may have enough strains to choose from and then decide which I want to enter. This is all going to happen quite close to the entry close off dates, Can I give you a possible list of strains I might enter? And then choose 1 closer to the time? Also with no pictures?1 point

@Bay Seeds Anastasia 99 autoflower. Pic #1 at day 78 under 60% shade house. Pic 2 & 3 outside at day 60. Shade house plants twice the height compared to the tyre garden ladies. Bud structure. Mmmm. As one would expect, not very good. Tyre garden plants are top notch I'd say. But there is a reason everyone uses shade tunnels out here. Lets see what mid summer throws my way. Dear Diary, It's been 2 and a half weeks since the last photo's, so here's an update. On the indoor plants, I created had an issue for myself on the 13th, I got up early, filled and mixed up the nutrient reservoir, PH'd it and off my girlfriend and I we to Cape Town for the Weekend. (Btw the way, we stayed in Bloubergstrand and was very quickly introduced to a place there called "Baked". Seriously, go there, sign up as a member (R200) of their club, and go order an indoor joint and a sativa infused Chocolate Milkshake... It was amazing. I ended up fucking unbelievably Space-X high, there is just no other way to describe it. That chocolate milkshake though is the be all and end of all of all chocolate milkshakes, it's epic. Then like 100m down the road is this place called "Tree of Life"... where I proceeded to buy a "Moon stick", which was a gorilla glue joint, rolled in chocolope concentrate and then rolled in a haze kief. You got to try one of these ) Ok back to the story (I'm so baked while writing this) - While we were flying high in Cape Town I had some issues at home... we had a 24h power outage, and a heat wave, so to his credit my step-son did manage the situation fairly well. When I got back the following Monday, the plants looked like something genetically suddenly went wrong with all of them. they have grown, but the nodes are less an a cm apart and they have all just like bushed in one place or another. After checking through everything I found that in my haste on the Thursday morning before leaving, I forgot to open the tap of the reservoir to feed the plants and they had now gone from the wednesday to the following monday without anything. I figured with the co2, the high temps, the lack of water it just culminated in the plants weird growth. To rectify it, I cut off a whole bunch of nodes to space it out a bit and then just let them grow it out. They have since recovered nicely and I have started pulling them down and out to start the growth of the flat canopy which will grow into the scrog net once it's up. The little outdoor plants I had in my tent in the first post have come along way. I've repot them into their 25L pots and they are now out on the grass for the outdoor season. I have two 50w flood lights on them at night and will be adding a 3rd this month so I that I can light them up 360 degrees. Blueberry Sunset Chempie x Purple Punch - This is by far the fastest growing plant I have ever come across. The Zombie Kush The outdoor plants will be feed a worm tea this week and hopefully they should settle into their homes nicely. These 8 plants are spread out nicely and I'm busy looking at building a 4m x 4m shade cloth canopy to try help with heat and hail. That's it for this update.1 point
