  1. Recap. Once again my outdoor grow was a flop. Bay Seeds Anastasia 99 autoflower performed well until the caterpillars arrived on the scene. The photoperiods I had to move into the shade house as the climate was klapping them six nil. Already working on next seasons outdoor attempt. This grow is a mix of Totemic and Bay Seeds genetics. Gardeners Delight as none have been labeled. I wanted to spend this season learning about the plant. @Totemic: CG x SL CG x GTH GTH x OKC @Bay Seeds: Glamberry x LG OG Master Lester I started with a 128 seedling tray using a seedling mix (no cost) our landladies make for fynbos propagation. 118 seeds sprouted. Soil I used cost R25/40l from a local nursery wholesaler which I added perlite to. First few waterings I added molasses. Seagro was also used maybe 3 or 4 times as a foliar when I ran out of molasses. A top dress of Gardeners Gold Dust was added. Then I think I fucked up by adding Rose & Flower fertilizer but I got off lightly. The next week or two I'll be feeding some Sea-Rock phosphorus liquid fertilizer. Just in case you are wondering. No, not all at the same time. The above happened in stages. Pest control has pretty much been manual this grow. I'm out here minimum twice a day checking. First sign of any spider mite or any other poop or infestation I remove all effected leaves and give a spray of Biogro Neudosan. Of the 118 that sprouted I gifted about 20 and had to be brutal culling the ugly ducklings due to soil availability. There are two plants left outdoors from about 18 and 24 in the shade house. Heading into the final straight. Pic 1 & 2 outdoors. Last pic is produce from the worm bin.

  2. Day 14 Settling in well. Dropped a few more seeds in the pots that stalled, and will be continuing to drop seeds into pots where males are identified and removed. Effectively turning this tent into a perpetual space.

  3. Ok. I'm not the best grower and I've never claimed to be one but I work hard with limited funds and the generosity of a few local breeders to follow a passion. Yes. A Passion. Due to having to explain myself to total fucknuts on social platforms because they know more about arrangements and the genetics than I have with the breeders. I am privileged that I receive fire genetics to play with, most of the time gifted. I run diaries on various platforms giving my grow routine and observations only to be attacked and told I'm lying because so and so breeder does not do such and such. What the fuck. I'm doing a diary for so and so. Mutherfucker. Going forward for now I will only be posting pics with no credits. I will credit the breeder in one way or another. Over and Out.

  5. Here we go. It’s a battle of buds and stalks against the south easter. Let’s hope the branches hold as they are starting to seriously sag. The fan leaves are also seriously canoeing, which I’m attributing to the wind stress unless anyone has other ideas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. The Gelatos gave on Average 90-100g dry a plant. 5 about same, one a bit smaller but way faster flowering with 75g and the big one, slow flowering gave 120g, all dry numbers. And I couldn't really taste any difference between the plants.. very very stable strain. Grew over 70 plants over all and still can recommend it. Saved my Gelato Clone i hunted 2 years ago.. ran into huge issues (flowering) from the Stage6 we had November/December. Revegged clone cut now growing nice and stable again.

  8. Aweh gromies. Been planning around this idea for a while now. Seems a natural evolution from a smoking carpenters' point of view. Today the creative juices were just right. The material was retained and cured from the 2022 outdoor grow. She weighs is at a miniscule 179gr. Comments and ideas are welcome.

  9. Its a mindset, either you let them get to you or you decide you don't need their shit. But then at least you know who they are.... Keep doing what you're doing. You're always going to have windbags and knowitalls...fuckem.

  10. @West Coast Vaper Brother, I feel you. You know, my passion is actually rare plant collecting and mushroom growing and I am on a few different "private" groups some not so private, and I honestly have to say the cannabis community is the shittiest to navigate in terms of sharing helpful knowledge. I say that with all the respect in the world. Sometimes you don't need to back and forth with someone cause you know what you know. I feel there's a lot.of ego in this community, because of its background alot of people invested in cannabis are just low lives. People with big aspirations, but no motivation. People that dream of being called "the King of Cannabis" without getting their hands too dirty. I have even had people from the cannabis community tell me how to do things they clearly have abosultely no clue about, but just because they once grew a cannabis seed till it had 3 sets of new leaves and now they hang out at every cannabis event and wear clothes with a cannabis leaf on it, that gives them the title as master grower of all things plant and nature related. The all talk, no show. I might be sugar coating a little, but sadly I even know a guy like this so I know I am not far off the truth. First thing he told me was that he is "a grower". Asked to see his plants. Don't have any at the moment... Big shocker. Start talking growing, I give subtle advice, he laughs and claims I can't tell him anything about growing, I give him a clone, it dies within a month. We don't talk much anymore. We need to remind ourselves more often to not sink to that level, just keep pumping the good stuff and rather than trying to help stupid people, laugh at them.

  11. Kinda. I think I'll be concentrating on growing rather than explaining though. Kind of pressing the reset button on my side.

  13. It comes with the territory I suppose. Keep the passion up and keep doing the diaries. Maybe even try out reports where instead of posting regular updates you collect all your pics and info during the grow then slut one big report at the end with a smoke report.

  14. So we got a decent qoute for foam spray insulation. People insulation doesnt come cheap at all even my calculations to diy with isowall panels ended up breaking the budget..but okay still cheaper over the next few years than buying large led fixtures. Stuff has been arriving in the mail. The outlet manifold of the nft is done. Water pump is in and air pump came yesterday but without any silicon tubes so i need to run in tomorrow for that. just installed two smoke alarms as well. Basically only waiting onthe moulded net pots made spicifically for 110mm gro tubes. In 20 rockwool cubes im germinating some seeds. I had the e-m seeds collection from biltong n budz in cart but found out totemic has some bobbys widow x gorilla cookies f2 in stock so i went that route instead. First ones should pop tomorrow Doing 18 of them in hydro and 7 in soil for growth comparison. Ill post those pics and the finished nft when final holes are drilled and pots inserted.

  15. Bananas for potassium and eggshells for calcium. I have blitzed leftover apples and bananas in the foodprocessor with molasses for our girls, with good results. There are many cost effective ways to process organic materials to make their nutrients more bio-available for your plants. Do yourself a favour and have a look at Korean Natural farming or KNF on the interweb. Plenty organic tips.
