14 November 5 seeds pushed out of the soil. Not sure what happened to thee 6th, as it showed a root and the seed popped. Oh well. The middle left seedling had the seed casing stuck, and stupidly I tried to help by prying the seed helmet off. Ended up taking off the one leaf. RIP. Not sure if it will make it. Germinating the 2 promo G-Fawke seeds I got now, to replace the damaged and non-starter seedlings.2 points

First time growing photoperiods, quite excited. Genetics Hiroshima by Renegade Seed Co. 6 Pack High THC, and according to the product description should deliver "high yields of dense, rock-solid buds." Hoping to achieve that. Want to make one a mother and start learning to clone. The description says "These highly stable genetics produce two phenotypes at most." Should be easy to choose a winner to reveg. They advise topping, which I am also looking forward to learning. Want to also try "FIM" a plant or two to experiment. Grow Setup Same as before. Here ~ Lets go 9 November Seeds arrived. Also received a Promotional 2 Pack of G-Fawke. 10 November Seeds into a glass of spring water. Onto a heating mat and into a dark cupboard to soak for 18 hours. 11 November Seeds started showing roots. All 6 seeds popped, gently took them and placed them root facing down in Jiffy Preforma Plugs. Covered the holes slightly and into the ROOTiT Small Propagator they go. Heating mat underneath, and gently misted with spring water. Also threaded the hygrometer reader through a ventilation hole, to see the environment reading. I think this reading is fine for germination. Any and all feedback welcome. Hoping for them all to push out effectively over the coming days. In hindsight I should have maybe done the paper towel method to get the roots longer, before putting them into the plugs. I've also previously had a failed germination where I watered a bit much, so just gently misting this time as to not drown/stunt the seeds.1 point

lol why do you say that? the discrepancy with organics being slower is because people have lost touch with organics and struggle to get it right. when you talk to a organic guru you'll see it moves extremely fast, just as fast as hydro and some cases faster. 99.99% of newer growers who do "organics" just use normal soil and biobizz then call it organic, but their plants are stunted literally from day one all the way through. when a plant is moving slow but looks 100% healthy - it's stunted - and that's why people think organics is slower. I've outgrown synthetic/hydo growers a numbers of times with my own living soil. Takes a couple years to get there, but once you there you drastically scale down visiting the grow stores and nurseries all together. but we can't compare or view synthetics and organics in the same light at all, because worm poo and piss is sustainable, I source it right in in my back yard, no need to break shit down to make my nutes, no need for manufacturing factories and all the pollution that goes along with bringing a bottle of nutes to the shelf, no need for plastics all that shit and then in the end the use of synthetics is also harmfull in so many ways long before you consume it. so it's just two completely different things in the end.1 point

I got u thanks. And they would definitely been much smaller with organics1 point

Ahh yeah that's not too earlyHahah I get you, but you would be surprised. It's actually the other way around. In the short term you are "feeding" the plants with the leftover synthetic nutrients, so you may see them looking greener for a couple days after giving the feed, but in the long run you are compromising and destroying the life in your soil micro biome. not sure how much you care about it, but it's basically a global epidemic and people choose to be blissfully unaware even if all information was presented. we're at a point where we can no longer sustainably use synthetic fertilizers, that documentary explains it nicely to keep them smaller you gotta reduce feed, play between quater to half strength for feeding they will slow down1 point

So as the title says I'm looking to get 2 strains from DaggaPharmacy one is definitely SC but can't make up my mind on the second one.Im looking for something with a nice taste something sweet since the only weed I smoked was sour or gas or burnt rubber lol the ( "Outdoor and Indoor ") of the black market always no strain name so if there is anything on the lists you would suggest I'd appreciate it.1 point

Decided on the BBM and SC for this season next season tart pops and OKC Thanks guys appreciate it1 point

So.. the Spring Photo harvest is done, just 3 strains still outside getting sun.. Deluxe Sugarcane, White Widow and my 2 Gelato Phenos, few days out. ^^ So yes, easy possible to run 2 photo harvests a year with a little preparation in July, enough sun down here Jarred to even out the moisture before I dress. Ginger Tea and Slurricane1 point

I had a cut of the CT Exodus cheese. Is good but nothing overly special. Not sure if the old genetics of the cut were responsible or the plant had the grow characteristic itself, beside the end colas it was more a fluff flower, so shit genetics if you want to resell. For home smoke, you get cheese and it hits. The plants are super thirsty like a Sour Diesel.. they drink at least double of a usual strain.. so you're short on water, stay away. They also get very fast irritated when under watered.. is not a easy strain to grow as is not overly stretchy but leafy. You really want to have a cheese in your mother tent or you will not go through the stress. Was the strain I was always willed to replace if I find better genetics.1 point

The BBM is an untested variety or rather new to the menu. The Blue Sherbet is one of there best plants.1 point

The GSC was one of the first of the cookies stuff, nice sweet terps. I haven't grown the blueberry muffin so don't know much about it, I'm sure it's awesome1 point

What that GSC like ? And I'm looking more towards the cookies/Gelato terps then the fruity citrus type. So it's between Blueberry Muffin and Tart Pops. And yeah true they really make it hard to decide.1 point

Ahoooy TART POPS my brother! hahah nah but that OKC is a winner, I'd vote that one too! to me, between the OKC and TP, I would have to go with the TP, but only for personal reasons I grew a sour lemon OG by emerald triangle seeds like 3/4 years ago (swamis selections) I can still smell in some of my jars. explosive terps, but I grew so much of it that anything citrus puts me off these days. when talking sweet terps there's two overtones, citrus and the "cookie/gelato" sweetness the SSC run I did, the C stands for cookies, has the charactaristics of cookies/gelato, very sweet, but I can see after this I'll be giving the cookies/gelato stuff a break. I need some chemical savoury garlic gas in my life right now. a large group of people saying gelato/cookies fucked the whole gene pool cause of the genetic bottle necking, majority of hybrids today is a cookies/gelato cross. Cookies / gelato basically the same thing. I say the consensus speaks for itself. They got the original GSC and G33 cuts too, good options. A good mix of zesty citrus sweetness with a nice gelato / cookies balance would be the Blue Sherbet.... the thing with Dagga Farmacy, they make it too good for us, too much to choose from then it becomes blurred1 point

Thanks bro appreciate it I read up on them and blueberry muffin sounds delicious and like the effects of the OKC so far I'm leaning with BBM unless some of the growmies can send something more delicious suggestions my way. Thanks again1 point

Damn ... Freedom Farms. Suuucks to hear that from one of the more reputed names. It's a bigger problem for them as a brand than it is for the customer that runs into an issue so I am sure they would appreciate the feedback so they don't run into the same problem again. Either straighten out the lazy employee or replace them. Not giving feedback on big problems like these can be even bigger issue at the end of the day and who knows, maybe they thank you and bless you with some merch or new soil just to cover their ass. Even if they don't, at the very least, all they can do is use the info to avoid another slip up. Luckily I am off buying soil anymore, but I remember about 5 years ago till the other day still FF being the most consistent soil brand for us locals, but also hearing a lot of people running into problems with their stuff lately. About a year ago now a bud of mine transplanted 2.5month old clones (not small plants) straight into their Premium Classic soil and it just turned his plants into a crisp right away. That's trusting that he took my word to only give water, and didn't give nutrients (I know him to be that kinda guy, does exactly what you tell him not to do) plants just turned to a crisp. Luckily, because they all photoperiods we saved them, but yeah.... Freedom Farms being caught slipping up a bit too much lately, but then could also be the difficulty of trying to keep up with demand. I'd say if you looking at organics, even when you get into it, you'll end up making your own soil or amending soil you have as a base, so it's better to start waaaayy before planning to grow in the soil so once you wana make the move you're one step ahead of yourself. With organics we never throw anything away, you can basically use the cocoperl you got there as a base and build on that. A worm tower to make your own worm juice and castings - takes literally 10 to 20min to make, very very little financial input, helps to make clean up easier around the kitchen, builds a better relationship between you and the natural cycle and ultimately the plants too, will be the best time and effort investment to make for your plants and garden in general as the worm colony grow you can multiply your towers, you can sell the worms, you can literally just throw them on the ground in the garden and get a good healthy conscience boost as you're basically reviving, regenerating and spreading life.1 point

No didn't take it up with them, Just too tired to do anything...i need a good 8 hours sleep. FF coco perle, most likely a lazy or disgruntled employee is the cause. Definitely will be back on organics soon, i ran out of nutes and was gifted the tripart.1 point

That sucks! What brand is this? Did you take it up with them? Are you completely against the idea of organic growing or may I suggest it?1 point

Resetting. I found the coco that is supposed to be washed was NOT washed tested with ec pen Luckily I don't have to pay for seeds Seedlings were stunted moer toe.1 point
