Quick update Last week they were given a feed with coconut water and last night they were given just straight water. Pics taken 2 nights ago. These are the 2 A.S.D's side by side. My soil on the left, OM soil on the right. These 2 are pretty much neck and neck. Nothing between them really. I've been running this strain for more than a year now and she always reminds me why I keep her. She grows so nicely. Smokes great too of course. The 2 Scotts OG's. OM soil on the left, my soil on the right. Bit of a difference with these 2 that has developed. The plant in the OM soil is a little on the lighter green side. Less overall growth too which tells me that she's most likely a little hungry. She's still happy but might've been craving a bit more N for the big explosive stretch which this scotts OG likes to do. This cultivar is actually best suited for a scrog I reckon. Im kinda in 2 minds whether to feed her. Gonna just watch her for the time being. The Starkiller OG. 1 day short of the 6 week mark. Starting to stack nicely. She's a short plant, wasn't sure how she was gonna stretch, played it on the safe side and she didn't stretch much at all so she wasn't meant to be this short. Lesson learn't for the next round. Cheers guys

I see you're using Tapatalk... Tapatalk doesn't support clubs very well but will start receiving feeds from the clubs once you join the club. You'll need to logon to the site on a PC or your phones browser(not tapatalk) to find and join the Outdoor Growoff Club. The club has been active for a long time

Isn't an alcohol breathalyzer just used as an indicator for police to test you further by blood? In other words breathalyzer results can't be used as evidence in court, only the subsequent blood test results can be. Or am I wrong? if that's the case the same should apply for cannabis and if so... well then they fucked...

Welcome guys -
Yes. My ventilation works in a loop. Active intake into my flower tent with a 6" inline. The flower tent is then "linked" to my veg tent with 8" ducting which is the ducting you see in the bottom right of the pic below. In the veg tent there's an 8" inline pulling air back outside.

I leave it. Humidity is very low here in the winter (10-30%) and sits at about 50-60% during summer so it gets evaporated very quickly

Starkiller OG at day 32 Flower Full shot with the rest. The stretch is well underway with the Scott's OG's and ASD's. Pretty much neck and neck with the different soils at the moment. Will try get a shot not under the HPS next week Just a word on the environment. Just running 2 x 400W HPS side by side in a 150 x 150 tent. Currently using a makeshift plastic sheet catchment tray as my mate miraculously lost it somehow. Still can't fathom that... Two days prior to this photo they all received a dose of liquid humic. Next up SST

Fermented Plant Juices yes. Look into Korean Natural Farming, a lot of home organic growers are heading in that direction. It basically relieves you of any need to buy commercial bottled nutes and inoculants. Everything can me be made with what you have at home or from the supermarket. That comes down to getting your amendment ratios right in your soil. Couple that with a soil that has cooked well and the plants will use what they need when they need to. That being said, I start my clones/seeds off in a very simple mix - 1 part EWC, 1 part peat moss and 1 part perlite (I dont even feed this mix) and this mix hosts them comfortably till 1 week prior to flipping, when I'll transplant them into their final pots with the super soil.
-
Right now, no. Gonna hold out till week 5 or 6 unless the plants show defs before then. I have yet to use FPJ's so that's what I aim to feed with when the time comes.

So how things going here? @greenkush Keen to know how things are going with the OM soil

Indicas finish quicker than sativas. So the short answer to your question is yes. Still early days for you but your plants are looking good!

Thought I'd give an update on what's happening my side grow wise 3 different strains running in my tent at the moment, soon to be 4. Back left - Rare Dankness scotts OG in the Organics matter living soil Back right - Humboldt seeds Amherst Sour Diesel. Also in the OM soil Middle row left - Rare Dankness scotts OG in my own soil Middle row right - Humboldt Seeds Amhest Sour Diesel in my own soil Front - Rare Dankness Starkiller OG in my own soil Delicious Seeds Sugar Black Rose soon to enter in some more OM soil. The Scotts OG's are now 2 and a half weeks through flower. They are clones of the same plant. They were transplanted into their respective soils a week before flip. They came from a regular seed The Sour Diesels are 2 weeks through flower. Also transplanted a week prior to flip. I'm pretty sure I put them in the flower tent too soon but that's no major issue. The Starkiller OG has been in flower for 4 weeks and 4 days now. She came from a regular seed. Only bought 2 regular seeds of this strain, thank fuck the gamble paid off. The first seed I germed and grew out turned out male. So i germed this seed with a clenched nort till she showed sex! As you can tell I'm running the same strains in my soil and the organics matter soil. This wasn't initially intended but I've essentially got a comparison going here. They are clones of the same plants and were very similar in size before being transplanted into their respective soils. Game on! Will do my best to keep you guys updated The Starkiller OG

That's the idea yes. Mixing about 40L at a time would be fine so the drum doesn't have to be that big. The crank bit leaves me blank. Wouldn't know where to start or where to look for something like that. I agree an electric motor isn't needed. As long as the bin rotates smoothly.

Shot bru I would but my 3 year old is yet to be indoctrinated and doesn't care much for money. He'll do it anyway though
-
Not really something I would recommend. Organic nutes like Biobizz are meant to supplement the soils food web and not be a complete feeding solution on its own.
-
Must be. Probably why they're not openly trading as cannapax. Dodgy AF too to have staff asking random people on the street if they smoke weed to rope in customers. How does cannapax work with age? No under 18's or what?

Well said @highchome I also enjoyed growing in hydro and enjoyed the control. You do feel a little more involved. It took a lot for me to switch over to soil, it really is about letting go. Starting off in hydro had also gotten me used to the cleanliness of hydro. Something you have to sacrifice with soil as it does end up making your grow area/tent a lot more "dirty", in a good way of course. What switched me over to organics was kids. Don't have the time for hydro no more!
-
Don't get me wrong I enjoy mixing up soil. But that was when I only needed to mix up 40-60L at a time. Ideally I want to mix up a batch of about 200L of soil next which is quite a lot but doesn't really justify renting a mixer. @Bospatrollie2 the challenge is on bru. Show me the way

It's the media's sensationalist weapon... "dagga lab" "hydroponic dagga lab" and of course still using the word "dagga". It's all about the angle. The media is clearly targeting those who are strongly anti-drugs and anti-"dagga" to read their articles. They are the only one's who will read it... and us. If they say police raided a persons home and encountered a "cannabis garden" the effect of the story immediately diminishes. They've lost the reader and the advertisers lose out. A lot of people also think cannabis and dagga are 2 different things. They see cannabis as this breakthrough healing plant that they are hearing about on the news but they still see "dagga" as this drug that is ruining our youth. The media capitalizes on that. Also notice how the media will call it cannabis when its an article on medicine but as soon as its found in someone's home its called dagga again. Twats

Alright folks. Here are our winners! The decision was a unanimous one for 1st place. The poll agrees too. Congratulations @Stoukie you take home 1st prize 2nd place was so much harder to decide but ultimately we settled on @CreX. So it's all about the creatures this month. I would like to mention that @Kgrows your photo was so close with 2nd place. It's unfortunate we don't have a 3rd prize as you would take it. Not much consolation I know but thought I should definitely make a mention That wraps up another great SOTM. The quality of entries were superb as always!
