Howzit guys It's been quite an issue for a while with the POTM's we've been running on the forum. Been getting some awesome prizes sponsored but very few have entered their plants. I've set up a poll to get some feedback about the way the competition is run. If you guys think there can be improvement please give your feedback. Always appreciated

How goes folks I harvested the A.S.D, Blue Kush and P.O #1 on the 23rd of November. 11 weeks into flower.(77 days). The P.O #2 and P.O #3 were harvested a few days later on day 81. Im assuming that this harvest was delayed by the intense heat we experience here over October and November. To be honest none of them looked 100% ready to harvest but the trich's told a different story so I worked according to that. The blue kush was a flop of note. Extremely airy bud but it actually tastes good and I could very well make BHO with it. I still managed to yield 68g's from it. The A.S.D and P.O #1 are now jarred. The A.S.D produced a total of 88g and the P.O #1 produced 77g which I'm really happy with for my 2nd organic grow. (zero feeding). The P.O #2 and #3 are still hanging up and will be jarred on the weekend. I think the P.O #3 (hydro) will yield more than the organic #1 but of course that doesn't conclude anything as they are not from the same seed, she does look decent though. The P.O #2 was a bit underwhelming and as you'll see in the pic, still looked largely unfinished. Here's some pics on the day of harvest. That depends on what the cops who raid your house think...put yourself in a cops shoes who is looking for any excuse to nail you for dealing... Here's what I personally think will sit well. If you're a recreational smoker then 6-10 plants at a time should be okay, in total. If you like your concentrates or need to grow for medicinal reasons (oil) and need to grow more than 10 then have proof of the oils you made before, equipment you use to make oil etc.... if you can show them how you use the plants and how you can't possibly be selling the plants then you should be fine. Store your bud in jars, not ziplock bags. Dont keep bank bags around. These raids are usually as a result of tipoffs. Keep your grow to yourself and you'll be good. If they do ever come knocking, be respectful and explain your personal use in a calm manner. They most likely wont even come inside

This is another tricky bit yes and my thoughts were to judge only by the photos that the participant posts. A few of the points you mentioned above would have to rely on the honesty of members and .... well yea that's not gonna happen... So yes size and the beauty of the plant will be important. I think guys will need to post pictures of their plants alongside a tape measure or ruler of some sort, at least for the final photos. We'll need to set a criteria on how photos must be taken... light, backgrounds etc.

Indeed the only way for it to be 100% fair would be for everyone to use a cutting of the same plant but I think we can all agree that'll be just about impossible. So we do have the this option.... @Totemic has very generously offered to sponsor his chocolope genetics for this competition. A pack of 5 reg seeds for up to 200 participants. 1000 seeds in total Would you guys be okay with covering the delivery cost of your 5 pack?

@greenkush thanks those ryocoffee ones look like they could do the job but I actually need it for this weekend so Im pretty screwed... only realised this bleach free concern once I was buying the filters in the shop yesterday. The oil making will have to wait

I'm trying to find bleach free or unbleached coffee filters and really having a tough time finding it... can't even find online... I want to use them while making cannabis oil but I've read from quite a number of sources that regular coffee filters are a bad idea... thoughts?
