  1. Sorry missed him saying that. I'm not so sure about the nutrients being flushed away... organics doesn't work like that unless you are flooding that medium and getting huge amounts of runoff. Either the mg isn't there to begin with or there's a PH lockout. I'm sure there's meant to be a good deal of mg in the mix though, enough for young plants at least. The notion that you need to be feeding now is false in my view. I don't see the need to feed plants at all actually during veg. I still haven't fed a drop of bottled nutrient to my organic plants 68 days into flower now so it's possible Perhaps your soil needs a microlife boost as well @YourStonedBuddy. Not sure if you may have experienced the same but I've heard about guys getting their ff soil and its dry. A dry soil is a microbe-less soil. Best you brew an AACT or get some EM in there. Will help with your PH too Get some worm castings and give your soil a top dress with that. Then use it for your AACT's too
  2. There is a mag def but Im sure its cos of PH, either that or that soil is a dud... I would suggest watering with a PH of around 6.2 or 6. What PH are you watering with?
  3. Thanks for joining@Greener Pastures I'm afraid you definitely wont be enjoying some of your homegrown come xmas. Flowering takes around 8-12 weeks, some strains more
  4. Have you got a fan constantly blowing directly on the plant by any chance? It really looks like you're having PH lockout issues. Are you checking the PH of the water going in?
  5. @Shamen I understand what your issue is now. You must post your grows here under the boards not under your profile
  6. Great to see the forum's first diary with local genetics by the way. Watching closely
  7. @YourStonedBuddy & @Pvt_sToNeR you guys been watching the latest season of SP? They killing it. Tegridy farms
  8. I did see the exhibitor's fees but I forgot. What are they again? I do remember them being 15k or something
  9. No quite sure what you mean Shamen but I would suggest grow diaries as that is the suitable board. What are you scared of?
  10. @Shamen no problem bud. Would you like to keep the thread under the grow diaries?
  11. Hi @Shamen you appear to be running 2 threads with very similar content. Why is that?
  12. You guys can now create quizzes on your own for other members to do.

    Neem oil

If you're into cannabis juicing and using the plant as a whole then perhaps its best to find an alternative to neem just to be on the safe side. I've read up on the possible benefits of using peppermint and rosemary essential oils as pesticide sprays. Something you can make at home as well. They smell way better too

    Neem oil

I've noticed bad effects on the plants after spraying with the recommended dosages. I think if the concentration of the oil is too high on the leaves it will get too hot, especially indoors and will literally fry the leaf. I've seen quite a lot of talk lately of the campaign against neem oil. Perhaps there's some truth to this. Neem oil is meant to disrupt the digestive system of pests. There's just the question of whether it can affect humans as well. It shouldnt be all over the bud anyway.. @Green Leaf Organics do you spray anything as a preventative?
  15. Isn't cannabis club running something along these lines?
  16. Im afraid not bud. You need a tangible tag in your photo. In other words the tag must be a physical tag you can touch. Not a tag you place onto the photo with photoshop, paint etc. See the other entries
  17. I read, from one source, that its better to harvest a high CBD strain early as CBD degrades quicker than THC. How much truth is there to that and should we be following that guideline? My CBD strains are a day away from the chop according to the breeder but they certainly aren't ready in my view. The one has begun to start its swell but the others aren't even there yet. With THC not being a priority, does it actually matter if you harvest the plant too soon? Or perhaps is it beneficial to wait a bit longer to allow the plants to put on more mass?
  18. Well by the looks of it I'm gonna need a distillation flask and a condenser. The flask needs to be at least 500ml, preferably starting from 1L. Just started looking into this now so not sure if that's all I'll need. Shot though. Super useful you are lol
  19. Well aware of the risks of course. How is this distillation process more dangerous than purging the ethanol into the atmosphere? Keep in mind I wont have any open flames going
  20. Im also checking out experilab. They looked promising at first but stock seems limited. They dont seem to have the right condenser as well
  21. https://www.bidorbuy.co.za/item/377099804/250ml_Distillation_Apparatus_Lab_glassware_kit_Distillation_Kit.html?gclid=CjwKCAiA_ZTfBRBjEiwAN6YG4QltV1tYM7xVJ5755ht-E5n_75mmhjlTf8RZLnq98w_7bHbVJVgHsBoChQUQAvD_BwE Here we go... just too small at 250ml but Im guessing this is what I should be looking out for? @GreenthumbHydro
  22. Would you be able to show this to me in practical form? A boiling flask is the round bottomed flask right and a condenser is that coil like thing right?
