  1. Definitely lower that PH to between 5.5 and 6 as Jimmy said, can see a lockout going on there. Bit of mag def and N def
  2. Hochymama[/member] this topic has been moved under the Grow Diaries board

  4. I'd be cautious to give such advice. Yes there may be cost effective ways but they won't be the most effective ways. Saving a few rands to have a 70% success rate rather than a 90% success rate seems silly to me, especially with cloning. Cloning in a glass of water poses too many risks for weed, yes you can do it with other plants and herbs but cannabis doesn't take too well to it. I'm sure many would agree with me. If I'm not mistaken coco peat is cheaper than peat moss in bulk anyway. At the end of the day, jiffy pellets or rockwool cubes are the best options...
  5. Jimmy-z[/member] just read that it apparently holds too much water for cloning... could lead to stem rot I'm sure it could work but to cut any risk out of it, I'd go with the 2 most commonly used substrates because they've been proven to work the most effectively.
  6. I've read that peat moss isn't good for cloning. I can't remember why but my guess would be its ability to keep a stable PH or something along those lines. It's best to use a totally inert substrate like coco peat(contained in jiffy pellets) or rockwool cubes for cloning
  7. Looking great Smokey! Keep the updates coming in
  8. Don't adjust PH after brewing an AACT. You shouldn't need to adjust PH when growing organic, soil should do that for you. That's if you have a proper organic soil with a buffer I suspect 420? I don't think he has put together a true organic soil, therefore I would advise to ph. Yeah at 8.9 it not able to take up many of the nutrients if any. Sent from my ALE-L02 using Tapatalk True that Justin. I shoulda read more

  10. I can't say personally whether the local banks are up to scratch right now. I would still suggest ordering overseas if you can wait, from banks that have a reputation... globally
  11. Seedlings are looking great bud. Happy and healthy! Just a tip. Next time get some seeds online. There's nothing worse than wasting your time of inferior genetics(hermies and such), which most bagseed unfortunately turns out to be. Then again, with numbers you may just find some keepers
  12. Definitely see mould there and I don't think its safe to smoke that. Sometimes suppliers tend to rehydrate old weed to make it seem fresh, the problem is they put it in bags before they've dried enough.

  14. That's powdery mildew. If it's only affecting a few leaves remove them before it spreads. Also just in case spray a solution like the recipe in this pic This solution must only be sprayed in veg. An alternative would be neem oil or even milk diluted in water
  15. Fade is of course normal at the end of flowering but it's the hard curling that caught my attention. There is curling on that growweedeasy pic but that's more from being limp and isn't like the aggressive curl like yours... anyways like I said dude there's no need to stress, harvest is close and you really have nothing to worry about. Things looked great on the update prior to that.
  16. My suggestion is to get those plants into a new soil very quickly cause you don't have much time before flowering. If a compost has the tiniest bit of bad smell to it that means its shouldn't be used because anaerobic bacteria has started to colonize. More than likely cause it got too wet. Then the 2 weeks you composted the other materials wasn't enough either I'm afraid so that's why you're not seeing that soil deliver for you. It hasn't done terribly so far but you can see the plants need more How's your budget? You don't have enough time to cook a new soil so I can give you pointers on a basic soil mix to try and finish off those plants in if you keen
  17. The reason Im thinking PH is because I can definitely see the plants have gone pale green since your last update which means that there's a lockout. Then again there's the curling too which most likely points to over watering which also lead to defs.... Did you perhaps have 2 waterings too close together?
  18. Definitely a deficiency. The pale green colour of the leaves indicates that too. Don't do a flush! Never flush organic soil Mag def is one of them...Looks like you growing organic right? So maybe supplement with a epsom salts for a while as well as getting a bit more nitrogen in there. Something simple like seagrow should help. A weekly kelp tea and alfalfa tea won't hurt either What kinda soil you growing in there?
  19. Eish dude looks like you had a bit of a run in with some PH issues there which has caused a bit of lock out too. Luckily harvest is close. How many days they into flower now?
  20. Congratulations to icu2[/member] who is our SOTY 2017 winner. Not a frequent member but well done nonetheless
  21. Was most likely related to the transfer. Can you guys see the pics now on Tapatalk? I've tested and I can
  22. Wouldn't worry about it. Looks like some kind of burn... You growing this plant outdoors? Looks to be revegging
  23. Forum safely moved. Still a few small errors such as redirection which need to be addressed. That'll be sorted out during the course of the day. Please let me know if you guys encounter any other errors
