Other signs would be swollen calyxes which still hasn't happened by the looks of it. Still looks a long way off to be honest. A shot of the entire plant would help :thumbups

She isn't dying but isn't looking that happy either and a bit pale. What happened after your watering? Maybe it's time for a weak compost tea *edit - she definitely looks hungry... have you got what you need to make compost tea?

I think its time for a topic merge. This topic and OnlyTheGood's topic Why Seven Hundred and Ten is my favourite number serve the same purpose Let's stick with OnlyTheGood's topic. All agreed? I'll just amend these posts to that topic

Before I remove this topic.... Just to answer your question @CerealKilla ... I do have a system in place where spammers are blocked before even registering an account but these spammers are always working out ways to crack those systems so unfortunately spammers are now getting through and registering again. All profiles have to be approved by the admin and I do reject ALOT of registrations because most spammers have tell tale signs, especially in their nicks ... unfortunately some are less obvious and so I do approve them and then subsequently need to be removed once they start spamming. They pose no risk, they're just a pest The spammer has been removed

Before I buy all the necessary kit to make some BHO I wanna make sure that I'll be able to find a reliable source of affordable butane in SA, more specifically Newport butane. I've seen a couple guys suggest Newport but where do you find affordable suppliers? Will high end tobacconists stock it and what can I expect to pay?

No worries dude glad to see another avid fan of this kinda music! Auditive escape has been killing my playlist for a very long time now indeed! Love the guy's music, a hidden gem and I hope it stays that way! You can find his discography here https://auditiveescape.bandcamp.com/ where you can stream all his tracks in high quality no charge. I've downloaded a lot of his tracks, you can literally pay 1 euro per album cos he lets you name the price. That's the mark of an artist there I've seen Hashfinger on one of Auditive's tracks. Listening to him now on Deezer. Liking so far :thumbups :thumbups shot Also take a listen to this internet radio station. Might find some decent artists http://www.di.fm/downtempolounge

Thanks for all the sound input lads... funny enough its when i started supplementing silica that the problem started to creep up but i see that as a total coincidence and may have helped to prevent an even bigger outbreak from actually happening. I have a few more plants running, once they are done im gonna sterilise the hell out of my tent and start over... how would i get my own sulfur burner going?

Thanks for joining stickyscissors! Great to see you and buzz here :thumbups you guys have already done a lot for the plant in SA Looking forward to your insight

I kid you not, and i have a 87cfm fan extracting. My intake is like a little vacuum, hahahaha. When I removed the desk fan, the temps dropped, but like you say, it might be my setup. It sounds almost unbelievable that a desk fan would up the temps that much! lol You sure the fan isn't blowing the hot air from the bulb onto the temp monitor?

Believe me I did my fair bit of research on the matter. I found enough info from various growers to convince me enough to try this in the emergency I have here. Some growers apparently even use this method to "clean" their bud in general. I wouldn't do this frequently but for my current situation, and to try out, I thought why not... I still have some really good bud here so I can't just toss it cos of PM, I don't have the ballas. I've yet to find any solid opinion stating that smoking pm infested bud is actually bad for you anyway.... of all that swazi you've bought off the street back in the day, you can be sure some of those buds were infested with pm. Another highly debatable topic My grow definitely does need a nuke which it will get end of November when I pack things up for a bit.

I recently harvested a plant still quite badly affected by PM. I did some searching for solutions and found this option by Jorge Cervantes. Of course prevention is better than having to resort to these measures but this procedure seemed safe enough to me. I did this procedure with my plant last night so I'll report on the results. So far I haven't seen any PM on the branches I've been manicuring. Satisfied so far

Maybe even stretch that watering schedule a bit more to like every 5 days for now. Let it get to the point where you pick up the cup and it almost feels like there's nothing in the cup. Coco and perlite is extremely light when dry and you want your medium to almost get dry between feedings/waterings(not entirely) at this stage of a plants growth . The plant needs to establish a strong root zone and a lack of abundant water encourages more root growth
