That's a beauty Shaman! What is she growing in? Organic? Hydro?

Thanks for all the sound input lads... funny enough its when i started supplementing silica that the problem started to creep up but i see that as a total coincidence and may have helped to prevent an even bigger outbreak from actually happening. I have a few more plants running, once they are done im gonna sterilise the hell out of my tent and start over... how would i get my own sulfur burner going?

I kid you not, and i have a 87cfm fan extracting. My intake is like a little vacuum, hahahaha. When I removed the desk fan, the temps dropped, but like you say, it might be my setup. It sounds almost unbelievable that a desk fan would up the temps that much! lol You sure the fan isn't blowing the hot air from the bulb onto the temp monitor?

Believe me I did my fair bit of research on the matter. I found enough info from various growers to convince me enough to try this in the emergency I have here. Some growers apparently even use this method to "clean" their bud in general. I wouldn't do this frequently but for my current situation, and to try out, I thought why not... I still have some really good bud here so I can't just toss it cos of PM, I don't have the ballas. I've yet to find any solid opinion stating that smoking pm infested bud is actually bad for you anyway.... of all that swazi you've bought off the street back in the day, you can be sure some of those buds were infested with pm. Another highly debatable topic My grow definitely does need a nuke which it will get end of November when I pack things up for a bit.

I recently harvested a plant still quite badly affected by PM. I did some searching for solutions and found this option by Jorge Cervantes. Of course prevention is better than having to resort to these measures but this procedure seemed safe enough to me. I did this procedure with my plant last night so I'll report on the results. So far I haven't seen any PM on the branches I've been manicuring. Satisfied so far

Maybe even stretch that watering schedule a bit more to like every 5 days for now. Let it get to the point where you pick up the cup and it almost feels like there's nothing in the cup. Coco and perlite is extremely light when dry and you want your medium to almost get dry between feedings/waterings(not entirely) at this stage of a plants growth . The plant needs to establish a strong root zone and a lack of abundant water encourages more root growth

I don't find many things more relaxing than listening to some downtempo while medicated

Don't wanna be a smart ass but 4207365 suggested you get a "hydrometer" combo. It's not a hydrometer it's a hygrometer or hygrometer combo. The two are completely different meters. Just to avoid any confusion :thumbups

It's not a bad thing if a little bit of run off sits in the tray, you just gotta make sure the bottom of the pot is suspended from the water. If the bottom of the pot sits in water the medium will become water logged at the bottom of the pot and will remain water logged until the water in the catchment tray/saucer dries up. If the roots have reached the bottom of the pot, most likely have in your case, those roots will drown and you'll get the death which you see in those pics

Voting has closed and we have a winner!!! Many congrats to Green Leaf Organics that 600W ballast is now officials yours! Deservedly so as well. I will be sending you a PM soon In 2nd place we have OnlyTheGood... you did say that you would like to forfeit that prize should you win it. Would you still like to do that? Tied in 3rd place is Toby & Sir Smokealot. This prize will be finalised once OTG confirms what he would like to do. An option would be for OTG to take the 3rd prize and we'll run a tie breaker poll for 2nd place with Toby and SSA. Would like your guys thoughts

Finally a fellow DBV owner You do have a valid point about gathering the residue left in the whip. What do you use to scrape it up? The pin? Also how do you clean your pipe?

Unfortunately not but I'm sure I will eventually!
