I'm gonna attempt a bump on this topic seeing as it's harvest time for me in a few weeks and I'm still very uncertain on the best method for harvesting and drying.... Would love to hear people's tried and trusted methods. Do you manicure right after you harvest or do you manicure once it's been dried for a few days? I've read that it's best not to cut off the individual buds right away as that will speed up the drying process too much. What are your thoughts on that? What are your drying area conditions? Temps, humidity and air movement. This part of the grow is often overlooked but getting it wrong can turn a really good grow into something very average, if not disappointing. There's so much varying opinion on the matter so would love to get some discussion going on it.

Thought I'd start up a separate thread for updates on my small perpetual grow I have going. Currently I have a flowering tent running, and a veg cab in which I do seedlings, clones and vegging plants. A clone cab is in the pipeline but isn't necessary just yet.... Here's a break down on my setup: Flowering: Grow Tent - 1.5mx1.5mx2.0m 600W HPS 8" Extraction with carbon filter Passive intake Oscillating fan for circulation Large Birdwing reflector Vegging: 250W Dual Spec HPS Cabinet - 100cmx100cmx85cm - WxHxD Ventilation: 4 " exhaust - Passive intake - USB Fan for air movement - Will upgrade to 5 inch extraction when I upgrade lighting At present I have the following strains growing in the cab: 1x Jack Herer fem 1x Bubba Kush fem 1x Damnesia fem 1x Cheese Clone fem 3x Thunderbud Haze Clone (confirmed fem) They're growing in a coco perlite mix with Nutriplex nutes. Supplemented by CalmagN+ Jack Herer Will post up more pics tomorrow

e40 and e27 are the bulb fittings and pretty much mean nothing in terms of bulb strength. It isn't something you should be worried about. What you should be worried about is wattage and colour temperature. How many watts does each bulb have? Are they Daylight, cool white or warm white?

Hi Folks This new editor has a couple of bugs that I have been made aware of and noticed. One of them is the issue where the cursor is hard to get out of a quote box when you include a quote in your post. The fix is to place your cursor at the bottom of the quote and the use the Down Arrow key on your keyboard to get out of the quote box. This editor is a mod by an external developer so I have to depend on him to provide the fixes. Sorry about any inconvenience caused. I'm sure this issue will be resolved soon enough.

Done some looking around and the breeder suggests 9 weeks but will keep a close eye on those triches towards the end. Perhaps @HolySmoke could provide some guidance She does look like she has a few more weeks in her, calyxes haven't even started to swell up yet. Can't complain In that AMS video I posted towards the beginning of this thread they said the plant was a commercial six weeker....which is absolute CRAP! Perhaps it's cos I'm growing with a 400w but there's no possible way my plant could be harvested in 3 days time. Even the 7 weeks they recommend doesn't look possible

Update at day 38 All still going really well with this flower. This TBH smells so fruity with strong watermelony scents, I can sniff it for days TBH AMS

Welcome to the forum Sativa! I reckon after witnessing some of the grows on this forum you may want to try your hand at growing. Surely every smoker has to at least try his/her hand at growing their own herb at least once in their lifetime As for the forum being quiet, conversation levels go up and down.
