  1. Just a quick heads up...This comp ends at 12 tonight folks!
  2. I have a question regarding Nutriplex. Been a concern of mine for quite some time during this current grow. I seem to be getting really low PPM's when I mix the nutes into water. I just mixed 4ml gro 6ml micro and 7.5ml bloom into 5 litres of water and only got a ppm reading of 556... does that sound normal to those who have used Nutriplex? I'm following the chart and I get really low ppms when I follow it. Always have to add a lot more. Either my TDS meter is stuffed or my nutriplex is watered down
  3. Are you asking why the forum is configured that way Troy?
  4. That's the reason for the drooping yea
  5. Are you referring to the drooping?
  6. Under the weather in what way Max?
  7. Quick Update I'm FINALLY switching to flower today So that makes today Flower Day 1. Light has been off since 12 last night and will kick into it's 12/12 schedule starting 8 tonight. Want to ensure the light is on during the night to keep the heat levels down. Also planned it around my areas load shedding schedule... So basically I'm going to start off flowering the B2B, TBH & AMS in the tent. I've moved the two clones and seedlings to my veg cab(Will post up pics soon) When those plants are ready to flower I'm going to move them into the tent too. Here are the 3 ladies(hoping the TBH is a fem) Plant Heights: B2B - 52cm TBH - 48cm AMS - 35cm
  8. That's the exact one I have lol
  9. no worries!! I think I read somewhere that dimming bulbs isn't all that good for them or might lead to them having shorter lifespans, not all too sure on that info though. I think most makes are dimmable, I'd make sure the bulb works with digital ballasts(usually says on the box or website). My 400w dual spectrum bulb doesn't react well to dimming or super lumens though, it starts to flicker. Read up on the net that dual spectrums do tend to do that though so not all bulbs react well to dimming.
  10. Why don't you just get a 400w MH and dim it down?
  11. If we were still in January yes... unfortunately this is the present now Lucky for you though, this will go in as an entry for Post of the month :thumbups
  12. sorry lads I might not use the image method next time. Seems to function inconsistently. Either that or I'll make the images super small in size Should have called this a beta quiz
  13. Shit man sorry dude. What's the speed of your internet connection?
  14. That may be the case sometimes but the problem is that weed busts earn the cops easy bonuses. It's usually much safer and is relatively easy to make a weed bust and the subsequent arrest. Check the SAPS facebook page here https://www.facebook.com/SAPoliceService scroll down a bit and you'll see they made a bust on a relatively small grow which was most likely only for personal use. Our cops are lazy so yea them trolling on the net on their fat asses looking for busts sounds pretty plausible to me.
  15. As you say this, I came across this story CT cops held for selling stolen dagga
  16. Hi folks Just a quick question with regards to my veg cab. What would be more effective? 2 x 85w CFL's or just 1 x 150W MH? The cabs dimensions are W100xH100XD85 To me the MH seems like a far better option seeing as it pushes out 17300 lumens while the CFL's push out a lousy combined 8000 lumens. What would you guys use in this case?
  17. This comp is nearing its closing date. Still a few regulars who haven't had a go! Come on chaps
  18. Hi wallis. I've been using that horti testing solution with no problems. It's not ideal but it works. When I test RO water with a PH of 6.0 the solution indicates a PH of 6.0 which is yellow. When I test tap water I get a light blue. That is the PH of your water I'm afraid lol To check the solution's accuracy I'd suggest buying a small bottle of mineral water, check the label on the bottle for the water's PH and then test it with the solution and compare the result.
  19. I don't think being traced through these apps is anything to worry about. Just do some research to find out if anyone has been traced through the app you want to use. Highly unlikely that you'll find any cases... I quite like the WeedLog app. It allows you to run a basic grow journal with pictures. Has a large seed database to choose from. The best app I'm sure is Grow Buddy but that isn't available on most android phones and I don't own a tablet.
  20. So I've done some digging around for Grow Journal apps for Android and have come across the following. Haven't tried them out properly but thought maybe you guys can try them out and give your review. Search for these in the Play Store: WeedLog My Grow Log Lite Budfolio Mary's Diary Lite Tell us what you think
  21. We have an entry from @hydroman in the topic Unknown Bagseed Grow Journal (from soil to hydroponic to clone) Click Here to view the post
  22. Will place this up as an entry for Post Of The Month :thumbups Nice!
  23. Exactly. JZ has a lot on his plate let's feel for him, most of the time he has to work on new ways to cover his ass and then he still has to 'try' and manage this country's issues all this at his tender age... Maybe if he just smoked a fatty, sat back and realised the cash crop potential of weed in this country it would move up the priority list....
  24. Thanks, this is what they had. Yip that's them! The 200w goes for a decent price hey! Are you going to invest in one/did you?
