Had a ride out to the farm this morning for a visit. This winter hunt is almost at an end, and I'm really happy with how these girls have survived the winter. They are small but beefy plants. This has been a great run for cold and wpm resistance selection. 3 of the girls clearly stand out to me, and will be left to reveg to clone from. The spring run is around the corner, and I'll be doing male selections next.

yeah, and getting to know your plants. The more I grow a specific strain, the more intuitive my interactions become. you get to a point where you give your plants one look and know just what they want.

It is an interesting topic. I started with coco and synthetic nutes, but constantly measuring ec and ph and watering twice or 3 times day by the end of flower just didnt fit with how I grow. Organics is very forgiving, and definately a good way to start growing cannabis. Common mistakes like over feeding and overwatering is just something all of us need to get to know.

I think it's the same as ghost pepper lube

I'm seeing the plant is struggling with a hot medium. Only way out is through and she will 'grow' into the soil. Some plants just dont like a lot of nutrients, while others are just sluts...

That's height of about 55-65cm. I'll be taking top clones as I move them to the flower tent.

About another week then I'll do a final transplant and move them into 12/12. I had to stop feeding the Gelatos to get the clones to catch up so they are a bit hungry, but feeding has resumed.

The sudden dip in night temps are responsible. It's interesting to note that both CNL #2, and #3, as well as the GC, are much less sensitive to the cold and are lush green. While CNL #1 and OKC, having a similar reaction, and Slurricane is having the hardest time with the cold. Still makes for pretty viewing though.

So this is what my current feminized run looks like. Plants between 3 and 5 weeks of flower. I have 3 different chocolope NL phenos, and Chocolope NL #1 is the pollen donor, her one branch was treated and the other left untreated with STS. Then there is an OKC, Slurricane, And Green Crack. Pollination has started. ...

You know I'll keep males alive for you. I'll keep females going for you as well if space really is an issue

Ph down is either nitric acid or phosphoric acid.... They are really strong acids and only a drop will change ph. Not enough phosphates to support flowering at the pH you need. I wouldn't want to be adding sodium to my medium.

But then you look at all the local companies selling seeds. Mostly they are registered companies, so tax applies. The govt is getting their share. Seeds also dont conatain any THC, so is it then excluded as far as sales prohibition. Then as you say, you are allowed the plants but where are you supposed to get them.... It does seem that the grey area is getting bigger, not smaller, as the bill contradicts itself in its purpose in more than a few places.

A few problems I have with it. Those penalties are ridiculous. They are still quite happy to criminalize people for a plant. The fact that they want to regulate and prescribe what my privacy should look like....then it's not privacy anymore. Long story short. There is still a lot of activism ahead of us.

Yeah, I expect their will be a few nice cuts coming from this. All these are going to produce polyhybrid F1s (Chocolope NL x Gelato #33 x ...), except for the F2 gelatos, and they all gonna be freely available to the forum. The 33 is not a massive yielder, but dense frosty spicy sweet indica nuggets...

It's going to be a nightmare. But that's where the community comes in. All my new F1 regulars are going to be freely available to the forum. Pheno hunting on a national scale bru.

It's going to be super difficult keeping all my moms under 15cm to be considered seedlings. Taking cannabis bonsai to a new level.

So with enough time to spare I'm squeezing in a regular seed run. Clones are doing their thing in veg. Still waiting on a clone or 2 to reach size for a transplant and another 3 or 4 weeks veg. Females in the tent: Slurricane, Blunicorn, Ghost train haze #1, Green Crack, Chocolope NL x Gelato #33, Orange Kush Cake, Male: It was a toss up between a chocolope NL or GTH male originally, but the gelato cross males are really interesting me right now. Chocolope x Gelato #33
