I buy my silver nitrate etc from them. Packages always arrive 2-3 days after order.

Yeah, with only 10 months left for parliament to rectify the law to align with the concourt ruling, one would expect that we would have been invited to submit public input already. If we, the ones exercising our new found rights to grow our own, dont even get that gap, then those 'very clever' money hungry MPs who dont have clue about growing are going to keep us oppressed because it will suit this ones cousin and that ones brother. The hawks are already having a field day. There has been no real footwork in changing the stigma around this plant since the concourt ruling, and both the far left and far right are still anti cannabis ie anti drug.

I dont keep males at all. I do collect and store pollen from those that I do choose though.

6 weeks flowering. All progressing well. I have a good seed set from this pollination round. Only started pollinating at week 5 flower. I have moved away from the bloom nutes that are available due to their ridiculous price. These plants are in 5l pots, organic medium, and been feeding seagrow in veg, and continuing into flower, and from week 2 of flower started introducing MKP(hortimix) at 1ml/l along with the seagrow, working it up to 5ml/l. So the feed ratio now is 5ml/l seagrow, 5ml/l MKP, and adding a little magsulph every 3rd feed or so. Female 1 Female 2 Reversed female

No 1. Almost mature pollen sacks on the sprayed female. She has a strong berry/bubblegum profile, and has a balanced hybrid growth pattern. No 2 has a heavy sativa influence, reeks of bubblegum, and is putting out a lot of hair, low leaf ratio. No 3 has put a lot more energy into leaves, and I'm already not liking her. I will see how she progresses but even her terp profile while sweet, it isn't berry or bubblegum. So definately going to use No 1 and pollinate Nr 2.

There are many lessons starting to come out of the states as they too still wrestle this monster. It is exactly the picture of legalization I imagined. Chaos really. It is why I remain a proponent of erasing cannabis from law altogether. Real freedom with no legislation having a single say in the matter. https://www.forbes.com/sites/mikeadams/2019/11/05/reasons-marijuana-legalization-seems-to-be-failing/amp/

What do you wish someone told you when you first started growing?
Totemic replied to WannabeGrower's question in General Questions & Answers
Patience. Moderation with everything from water to nutrients, and more patience. The most common thing new growers do is over water and over feed. -
What I've been saying all along.

Goodness, I've been so busy I've forgotten about these. Put in forced flower 3 weeks ago, and been treating the one female with STS for pollen collection. First spray on the day I flipped, 3 sprays in total, and the first pollen sacks are now noticeable. Each spray I mixed with a knife point (1 drop equivalent) of pine gel to 200ml STS, instead of sunlight liquid. No burning on any of the leaves, and the gel suffices as wetting agent. The whole family...they were meant for the ground but alas we have notice to move and have to be out by end April, a month short of what harvest time will be, so they will all go in pots.

When is it no longer organic?
Totemic replied to PsyCLown's topic in Organic Growing - Growing in soil
Agreed. Organic or inorganic nutrients have to be identical for the plant to use it. Organics just needs an extra step as microbes need to eat it convert it and then shit it out for the plant. No3-, K+, and PO4-, SO4 2-, all the same ions no matter where they originate -
Joh. She's battling to keep them flowers up. Really decent harvest weight for a plant that size.

The reveg plant went into forced flower 3 weeks ago. Stretch was much less than I expected, but the flowering hormones were still built up in the plant I guess as she was immediately just in flower. Never the less, she has turned into an interesting little bonsai bloom.

The new strawberry cough suppliers in town.

Not much to show early in veg. Been too busy to get these planted out, but this weekend its gonna happen.

Subbed. Interesting...

That Tropicana is looking so yummy
-
You gonna start flushing her soon? I reckon she's gonna be done in week 10-11. Basically just the final swell now.
-
Do you make your cuts under water? I make all my cuts with that part I'm cutting submerged under water. That way no air is sucked up into the xylem. It makes a huge difference in not disrupting the upward flow of water

I clone with dynaroot 2. I clone to an organic promix. 2 weeks under dome, and transplant at 3 weeks.
-
Haha. My exact same mission. I'm out and cloning now to force a mid to end December harvest taking large top clones.
-
I work on 1l per week. That's what the plant needs as a general rule to not suffer any stress or stunting. 8 weeks veg, and 8 weeks flower is a 15l pot minimum. Adjust accordingly.
-
Not with all that foxtailing. That's very Thai like. How does she smell? 3-4 weeks left and those buds are going to almost double in size.
-
I had a 45l pot 2017, and by mid way through flowering I wished it was more like 60l...but yeah 40l minimum as a final pot.

Those are the pre flowers busy swelling.
