If I were to add my Mag phosphate might be used here too. And would account for no sulpher. Definately not lime or gypsum.

Noob Questions on Brewing Tea - Ingredient(s)
Totemic replied to narnia's topic in Organic Growing - Growing in soil
Youd be better off buying a ready to add liquid formula. Michorrizal fungi need to infect a root and hitch a ride as the roots grow. It is a symbiotic relationship. Your best way of using it if you insist, would be to plant wheat grass, or any other grass and after a few weeks harvest the roots and snip them up into tiny pieces as part of your brew. It might work but for all the effort it would take and the time involved,... yeah the possible benefits are not noticeable on grows. -
Noob Questions on Brewing Tea - Ingredient(s)

I have had lengthy conversations with the Dr who developed and produces mycoroot. She explained to me that the clay they use as a carrier, holds the fungi in the cavities in the clay. The reconstitution time is weeks not hours so I cant see it being beneficial in a tea at all. -

Mycoroot needs to be added to your medium at the root level actually several weeks before planting your bean/clone. Those fungal pieces need to reconstitute and grow. Your roots need to grow through it and get infected to gain any benefit from the fungi. This is best for a no till setup. -
Almost the first spring new moon, and for my main grow for this season and in keeping it tidy in a seperate thread. Taking these to F2's as well, but mostly just for the sticky AF buds. These will be going in coco/perlite. Id like those nugs to be fat and organics just wont push it.

With organics your ph needs to be good going in and difficult to correct. Is there no way you could test your ph? It might be something as simple as a little gold dust that is needed. Reading back on the thread now and your soil mix. It may be the issue. Everyone has their own ideas on organics, and my babies go into a rich soil that composes itself over months and years of "cooking" You should look into reafs organics if not one of the many around. Potting soil from the nursery is mostly not adequate.

Echoing admins thoughts. Their genes are not so great. Ive seen better landraces than the plants of theirs Ive grown. If you really want some really good straight from the breeder, give Sannies seeds a browse. Almost all my genes has had Sannies hand on them before I took it further.

If there was only an unlike button for your previous post. Drop the attitude or at least keep it out of the forum. This isnt your personal soapbox to rant on. Trying to build an archive of useful information, and while you do add this, your dick comment is not needed. People are also free to direct any thread in a direction of safety as opposed to cowboy moves. Do what you do, and hope it works for you, but safety is always first. Especially when you are messing with a tin that could very well blow up at any time. Thats common sense.

Well. With all the ph punishment they had, They are looking much better. It does take time to dial a new room in. A lot of the issues arise from trying to micro manage everything. Once it becomes routine for you, that disappears. For checking ph, do you let your nutrient solution rest a bit after adding nutes etc before taking the ph and tds readings? Let it all settle and let the ions sort out the solution to stable, and the ride will be smoother.

I remember when my grow box used to look like this. And then all of sudden there is no space. All looking good. Don't stress too much about your ph. Anywhere between 5.7 and 5.9 to 6.0 going in is fine. Some genetics are fussy but most aren't. -
Too much Nitrogen too early. Cut the nutes in half. More detail would help with a diagnosis.

The site isnt dead at all. Post up stuff for us to comment on. Pics. Words dont let us see the whole pic. We could hardly give any input in your initial post. If the site isnt fast enough to your liking, change that and stir things up. Post stuff that will blow our minds away. But this forum aint the pat on the back kind of place. Many old toppies who have seen and then some. We would love to give feedback and learn at the same time. Keep posting as your grow progresses.

Howzit. Welcome bud. Not dead at all, just has its quiet times.

Organic soul wetting agent
Totemic replied to GreenBeard's topic in Organic Growing - Growing in soil
If you are looking for a long term fix to really poor sandy soils, look for and add any humates. Potassium humates, humic acid etc all improve soil moisture and nutrient retention. -
Ive always used water straight from our taps. There really isnt enough chlorine in it to cause any noticable detriment to plants. We are one of the few countries where our tap water is still potable, and I can understand why the game is different abroad.

If she is all white, Id say chop her, or at least some of her. Maybe leave a bud or so on to test a later harvest? Especially if you intend growing out that type of plant again.

I personally prefer to keep the tank full.

Yeah apparently pure swazi, malawi and DP are low/devoid of cbd, but what has happened over the last few decades with the constant attacks on those genepools, skunk was introduced at some point by breeders working with the locals and there you find a lot of CBD influence was introduced. There must still be untainted populations out there, but the bulk of what we get smokes different from bud to bud, so populations are very mixed imo. It will be great when labs will be able to legally start testing locally. We will definetely get a much clearer idea of what's what.
