Some nicely compact healthy roots. This is a male. Was sad to chop him but also glad to see how good the root all looks. Guess repotting is happening this weekend... Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk

It all comes down to own preference end of day. Organic or not. I tested a lot of products and came to like bio Bizz range. I've seen results from other products and it's insane but again.... Each to his own I guess. As long as the plants love it.....

Hey man. Thanx for those kind words. At this moment I am uai g seagro. Guanoflo is quite expensive compared to the Verti-gro I get in Gansbaai. At this moment I pay 350 for a 25L can and the stuff works amazing. Very similar to Guanoflo I think but better priced Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk

I will lift dome lid when lights come on. I have heard and read up on explogrow. Will get some for the grow season. Thanx for the tip...

I found those fan heaters you talked about. Nifty little fuckers. When you use them, do they dry out your air in the grow area??? Turned one on and the heat felt very Karoo Dry Summer. Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk

You said "After yellowing it's a quick light yellow/white and then it dies of brown/rusty". That sounds like pH issue

Kept on checking the temps and found its getting hotter than it's supposed to. The temps was reading 28 but I sorted it out and its at 24 now. I raised the dome with the help of a washing pin. According to the manufacturer of these heating mats they will reach a temp of 22C but can reach 30 if using a thermostat. Maybe my thermometer is faulty. I have been meani g to get a new hygrometer but haven't gotten to it yet. Anyway I will let you know how things turn out in a week or more Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk

I hope I get better results. I usually get roots about 15 days Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk

Hey all So I changed my way of cloning or at least looking at other ways to get faster and better rooting. So I jumped on Google and logged onto the hydro store and ordered something. I read about these and thought why not. It's not that expensive and if it works then it's a win win for me. They are small and will fit any sized dome for any space I think. They soaked up the water within 30 seconds I added some rooting gel to the cart to make things more legit. My rooting powder was old and might have been the fault in my link. This is the giver of cuttings today. Mendocino Skunk And lastly the dome. Just had to get it. LoL Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk

Pot size for clones & mothers (Bonsai Mom)
Smelly Joe replied to PsyCLown's topic in Cloning & Propagation
Blue Gelato Mother Shiskaberry Mother The reason they were trimmed like this is they just grew way to bushy and some leafs were rotting at the bottom. So I took cuttings from both of them and just decided to clean them up. I also found I had a spidermites issue that seemed to get out of control. [emoji35][emoji35][emoji35] The Shiskaberry was potted from a 19cm pot with coir as grow medium to a 5L pot filled with Vermiculite. I had 100L of it and thought why not do an experiment.[emoji848] So Im keeping her in a Hempy "state" if I can call it that. I am planning to keep her for quite a while due to the fact that she delivers some seriously tight buds [emoji57]. The only time I take cutting from cuttings is when I get a cutting from a good strain and keep that as mothers. I have spoken with growers and seen plants that was cutting from cuttings etc and they looked great and tasted awesome too. But I guess my opinion is that when you take cutting from 1st generation or 13th generation and it it still gets you high and taste great then why care??? Keep a mother and test it. -
Hey guys hope you guys doing well it's Sunday again so it's update time. As you can see from the photos things have changed quite a bit. The growth is quite phenomenal and I'm still feeding seagrow. I'm pretty sure it has to do with soil as well and also with the mycoroot I added but things are surely looking good. 2 of the plants started stretching so those 2 are suspected males. As for the other 3, they are still compact. I want to repot next week but I think it might be a bit to soon. Luckily I'm not pressed for time so another week won't hurt. Maybe 2, depends. I trimmed of the fan leafs to expose the bottom growth to see how the plant responds and if it goes well then Im trimming off the other plants leafs too. Some closer pics of the plants Have a awesome Sunday Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk

Doing updates on Mondays will be difficult and I will not have time for it so I would rather do it on Sundays So let's get into this tiny little action going on in my tent.... Today will be the 3rd week after transplanting and I am really impressed with the results so far. All except one has a different grow structure but that it not a bother at all. They have another 2 - 3 weeks left of vegetative growth and then it repotting to the 5L pots. I waited until the pots were a little more drier than usual due to the cooler temps in my house and finally fed them on Friday evening. The growth the day after the feeding was clearly visible and I will surely keep using Freedom Farm and the Mycorrhizae. I'm still using Seagro for veg stage with no problems and the smell is not bothering anyone in the house....at this stage. The growth is nice and compact now but in sure that will change over time and my plan is to lollipop them..... I'm still running a 12-1 cycle and they are looking very healthy... Yeah. Not meaning I'm rich or can afford paying high prices, it's just that I just don't pay attention what I pay. I don't have high consumption equipment (yet) so I can't actually talk along. I'll just upgrade to the point where it gets to expensive and then I'll stop there or just cut back a bit. Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk

UPDATE TIME [emoji3] Today is the first week of transplanting from those 6 pack nursery pots to 19cm pots filled with proper food soil. [emoji41] I am still running the 12-1 cycle for now and made a few changes to the tent. I moved out all the other strains and placed only the BB x RG in there to see how the plants handle this from seed and having different strains in there kinda seemed like a headache, data tracking wise. I prepped some good old Seagro for them when lights came in but the pots is still on the heavy side and soil is pretty much still moist enough. So that feed will go to the bonsai garden tomorrow afternoon after work or the day after..... Im hoping for much faster growth from now on seeing that the roots has started to spread and the mycorrhizae should be active on those roots. Other than that all is good. Brewing Mychorrhizal Fungi

LoL. I was just waiting for that..... Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk -
Holy Shit this topic just got so technical all of a sudden.[emoji432][emoji432][emoji432] That is THE reason I don't go with hydro, ec and all that stuff. I'll just stick to my Organic ways and keep reading on this and keep wondering..... [emoji848] But if my 2c made any change ([emoji52])...... I also like the praying leaves Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk
