Smelly taking a go at Dank's Kush Cookies
Smelly Joe replied to Smelly Joe's topic in Local Genetics
She has taken to the new pot and growing has taken off. I got a tea brew from a friend. We went to a job and passed by the coast and picked up some kelp. Chopped it up and made a tea. He added some guano to it. I took 5L and diluted it and gave to the ladies. Any thing I'm missing or over looking @Dank -
Found these in the garden last year and now they are back. The suck on new growth and it dies and goes crispy. They are hard shelled and the young ones looks like small bugs with big arms. Currently they are on the Vinyard but I have found young ones on one cannabis plant. I will continue to catch them and throw them in a jar to die a horrible death but was wondering if anyone have same issues and what keeps them away???

So today was one of those strange days. I felt a bit irritated and decided to take the pipe, grinder and some bud and drive up to the mountain. It quite close to where I live and it's relaxing. So while driving and finding spots to place the cooked rice to make some BIM a bit later on the year I found these 2 decaying pine trees.... I scratched a bit and when I checked I had a handful of decomposed pine tree. So I decided to take it home and add it to the brew thats currently going. Before I went home I stopped to pick up some bananas. Read that if you make a tea from it it'll help with the budding phase adding extra Potassium. Whether it helps or not, I'm not sure but fuck it... I added it and gave it to the ladies. The Mineral ladies got......this..... And now for the ladies and how they look... 1 Shiskaberry : 2 Chocolope And the 2 Mineral ladies... I ph'd the water to 5. 5 this round and let see what happens. Very excited about the new meter coming next week. 3. Bruce Banner x Bruce Banner 4. Bruce Banner x Girl Scout Cookies

Well done. I'm pretty sure they will recover soon and just show their gratitude. That pot they were in's soil didn't look all that good. I have the same pots and they have become quite expensive....

At what times do you run your lights. If you are really looking into something that will help with temps there is ways. Like, getting an aircon for that room, or, create a passive airflow, or get an inline filter...... All that will cost you money. The ballast does give off a lot off heat and I had that same issue. But luckily I could mount it against a wall. Why not move it under the shed. Build a space for it in a way that there is natural airflow...... But I have another way. I have tried it last run and I'm doing it again. I use the Gas Lantern cycle or the 12-1 cycle. That way I could run my lights when it is night time and when I left for work the lights went out. They are on from 19:00 - 07:00. During the day the are off for 5.5 hours and then on for an hour and then off again for 5. 5 hours. Go and Google it and read up on it. It saves you money (electricity) and it saves young grow gear wear and tear by not running as long...

@Mambawana, the ladies are doing better. I adjusted the pH to 5.5 but not sure about the ec yet. I'm waiting on a meter and should be here sometime next week. I am waiting for the lights to turn on so that I can give them all their feeding. The Organic ladies are in for a a nice feeding session tonight. But all about that a bit later

Heard about light stressing like you mentioned. But I don't have time for that.... I'll just grow it out and flower as usual

And here we go... She showed herself and at that exact moment she was snatched up and repotted to a 25L pot. I might leave her now for about a week to settle in before I pull het down and start her training....... Might even start this afternoon. Her 1st rays of sun hits her at 06:50 and the last direct sun is at 16:45. That's a really decent amount of sun for her and the other ladies so I'm sure she's gonna have fun growing where she is at. She will get her usual dose of Seagro but hopefully if all works out then I'm picking up a 25L can of guano next week. Then I'll be more involved in the teas. I am giving the plants 2 feedings a week and it's gets a lot when it comes to feeding. Any good uses for rabbit droppings??? Read its a good source minerals for plants and thought about adding that to a tea brew, once composted and stable of course. -
Sorry dude. I meant light training in terms of LST....

That is one thing I have also noticed about indoor vs outdoor. Outdoor can take a lot more punch and aren't so sensitive to certain changes whereas indoor plants always seem more finicky...

Some serious question needing some serious advice... But luckily you've been sorted out The problem with growing weed is that the info you get from the web and friends can and will get confusing. Doing a little homework before jumping in is always a big advantage to yourself and can mean the difference between an OK harvest and a omg harvest. Best of luck dude

One of the reasons I do defoliation and light stress training. If they can't handle that then sorry it's time to move on.

I can understand man. Nothing like a hermie to fuck up your energy spent careing for it. And the lost bud.... Sho glad you found it when you did

Mmmm not sure why I replied like that but I guess emotions can't be seen through text. I meant it in a good way meaning you were spot on with the medium of choice and the issue I have at hand. Advice from anyone is always greatly appreciated no matter who. Sorry if I came across rude.

She veged outdoors for about 4 weeks maybe 5, and then repotted. I veged her for a week and then she went into the flower tent. The lights cycle is 8 on 16 off.... Gas lantern

Wow your good man. LoL It's a coco /perlite mix and it was pointed out to me about the pH and ec. That's the stuff that have never worried about before. This mineral feeding isn't as straight forward as organic nutes. The coco was buffered but the pH might be the culprit. I could easily flush and go over to the bio bloom like the other 2 but what the point of taking on a new challenge and giving up??? I am gonna get these 2 plants sorted out again soon. Thanx for your input

The leafs on the Bruce Banner and BB x GSC leafs started drooping and cupping. Of course I freaked but after an hour of lights on they recovered. There is no air movement during lights off. Is this a problem??? Temps during lights on is a constant 25C.. Will need to measure temps with lights out. When lights come on I can smell a deep musky plant smell. Typical build up of gasses.

ACV is Apple Cider Viniger.

PM is such a crap issue to have. Spotted some on the outdoor garden plants. Whipped out some ACV, baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Seems sorted but doing another spray the day after tomorrow.

Fuck yeah dude. Sub'd

Very nice man. Loving this grow of yours. I will be following for sure. My vote goes towards FF from the start but even though I love their soil you can't use it indoors. Every bag I buy/bought came with an irritable supply of Fungus Gnats. So outdoors they're soil is awesome and also using it for a couple of my plants...
