So with the changes happening in SA, has anyone grown or is growing an outdoor giant? I'd love to see some pics. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

Urgent Advice Needed on 🐱 eating plants
Trailblazer420 replied to Hansom1's question in General Questions & Answers
So I went out and got me a catnip plant. Next to each other, the cat chooses that catnip every time... Problem solved. Now if only I can get the birds to stop aiming for my plants. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk- 8 replies

Exactly quality over quantity... But you'll figure that out over time. When us current older folk become the previous okes and you become the older folk, you'll know... You'll know Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

I just realized I started an entire new thread here and it was supposed to be a reply :) :) :stoned Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

Aaah, that makes sense. I read that the ppm is just a calculation and may therefor not always be as accurate. For now though, I have 2 x PPM meters and 0 EC meters, soo..... Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

May I spark a debate? EC vs TDS, which one and why :) Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

IMO it depends on soil, strain and external factors. You may have a few fails, but once you get the hang of it, it's not hard. Each person believes in their own soil mix, but generally all contain potting soil, peat and perlite or vermiculite. I like a 40/40/20 mix, but each grower to his own opinion. It could also be that not all seeds are hermies, but because I've only grown indoors, one will infect all. The leftover clones I took and grew outdoors, no issues. Same mother plants clones in the tent hermied. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

Monster cropping... Here we go....
Trailblazer420 replied to Trailblazer420's topic in Training Techniques
Haha whilestoned, I find that's the only time I like working in my tent... Granted, it takes 3 times longer, but it doesn't matter :) Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk -
So here are some random tips. 1. Only water when medium is completely dry 2. Do not add ANY nutrients for the first 2 weeks after sprouting. You should be fine up to 3 weeks grow medium dependant. 3. Avoid heat exposure. The first two weeks require very little light. Place the plant somewhere out of direct hot sunlight, especially where there isn't at least consistent breeze. Maybe bathroom window, they will love the humidity. 4. First time growers: try a bag seed or solid stable land race strain of sorts. Hybrids can be tricky for someone just starting off. 5. Don't over water, yes, I know I said this already. The first month of any grow to me personally is probably the most boring, they don't want attention, they just want water, light and air and to be left alone, after which it starts getting interesting. Don't over water :) Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

Gradually move up pot size, don't transplant straight into 40L pots Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

It's too early. Give them another 2 weeks. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

3 outdoor plants, 9 indoor plants, all indoor plants seems to be seeding, outdoor, not a single seed. Could it be that this strain simply should not be grown indoors? Could there be hope for my strain yet :) Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

How often do you water? Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

I love how many of us are using the 'checkers pots' :) Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

I realized over the weekend that I have a problem. I cannot waste weed, never in what I estimate to be almost 6 years of growing, have I been able to throw away potential plants. Had a ballzup this weekend where I dropped the fan in my tent, breaking 2 branches on one of the early flowering ladies. The few seconds that followed, can only be described as an unparalleled automated chain of events. Fan unplugged and placed 'somewhere', knife fetched, cleaned, branch pieces that were still attached, neatly trimmed off and placed in water, after which the Cloning began. Managed to take a total of 12 clones off the 2 branches. 2 days in, 8 days to go and they'll get potted and placed in 24/0 for 2-3 weeks before they go outside to make space for my hopefully arrived Maui Waui. Don't you love unplanned grows :) :) Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

The purpose is to allow water to run through the soil freely Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

It's a little high, but should do the trick. Hot Air is sucked off tube and ac pushed cold air up. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

So here we go. 1. Remove base from fan (mine is held in place with clips) 2. Drill 3 pilot holes in the base 3. Place plank on top of tent supported by pipes or rods inside the tent 4. Place base against 'ceiling' of tent, against plank on top of tent 5. Screw base to plank. Yes this will make 3 x small holes in your tent, so if you're not happy with this, this Diy is not for you 6. Click fan back into base and viola!!! Pics to follow Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

Well done @420SA, you inspired me to move the ac out the tent and duct air into the tent by means of Ducting and duct tape :), creating some more space in my tent. Now I don't know where / how to place the fan because it was standing on the ac. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
