1. It's a little high, but should do the trick. Hot Air is sucked off tube and ac pushed cold air up. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
2. So here we go. 1. Remove base from fan (mine is held in place with clips) 2. Drill 3 pilot holes in the base 3. Place plank on top of tent supported by pipes or rods inside the tent 4. Place base against 'ceiling' of tent, against plank on top of tent 5. Screw base to plank. Yes this will make 3 x small holes in your tent, so if you're not happy with this, this Diy is not for you 6. Click fan back into base and viola!!! Pics to follow Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
3. Well done @420SA, you inspired me to move the ac out the tent and duct air into the tent by means of Ducting and duct tape :), creating some more space in my tent. Now I don't know where / how to place the fan because it was standing on the ac. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
4. Normal I grow out in 5L pots, however I have an outdoor plant that is in a 10L pot, currently nearing final flowering. I give her about 1 L water a day, generally just around her stem area, HOWEVER, she is a little bonzai and not a conventional tree like my other plants. Bigger plants obviously need mire water. With her I also just pick up the pot to feel how heavy it is. Soil growing is so complicated :) :) :) Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
5. Yeah, my oldest plant is not going to be ready in time to compete with some of the pictures already submitted :) Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
6. Have you tried running it through a carbon filter? That should help Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
7. Very happy with the tent though, much quicker to set up and clean. When space allows I shall get me another one :) Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
8. Yeah true that, hence the tent. Had to move so space became an issue for me as well. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
9. They look a little dry to me. You should be able to water them every second day at that size, around 500ml each. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
10. I may just be too hard on the equipment, also 2 grows is hydro where it is used sometimes multiple times a day. They're around R80 on ebay. Took 60 days to get here, but the next new one should be in SA already. Also, 2 grows is a year, probably be more now that it's legal :) Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
11. I've had very successful grows using only seagrow. Awesome organic fertilizer, also not very likely your going to nute lock your plants with it. Only issue is it makes your whole room smell like that if used indoors. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
12. Yeah, the mylar tray in the bottom of the tent seems 100% waterproof Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
13. Nicely done, I have I'm the past placed the base of my fan through the Ducting hole in the top of my tent, but now using that as exhaust due to light Temps. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
14. My cat eats my outdoor plants as well, but they're big enough that it only manages or bothers to eat the lower leaves. If it gets to the bud, it's popcorn bud anyway, but haven't seen her eating the buds. EDIT: Its normally just half a leaf or so. Maybe plant some catnip on the other side of your property, that should keep them away from your plants, but jy MIGHT bring more rogue cats
15. Welcome, plenty to learn here. Are you currently growing? Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
16. How big are they? Pics? Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
17. Yeah, I got me a tent about 2 years ago, but before that I had a grow room. Currently I have indoor and outdoor plants (still stealthy) but loving the new freedom. Sadly, some of us older folk will always be paranoid. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
18. That will work, the bigger the space for dissipation, the better it will work. You can still flower in a room that runs 30 or below, daytime, but optimally, you want to bring it down to 26 max for daytime and 18 at night towards the end of flowering in my opinion. My AC doesn't run at night at the moment, but will definitely run it 24/7 as I'm nearing the end of the grow. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
19. The problem with those general fertilizers are that they're not specifically designed for cannabis. Give it a try on one plant and see how it reacts. You can always flush if you see its not working out. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
20. I find these ebay testers to work fine, but they generally only last a grow, sometimes 2, but there cheap and do the trick. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
21. I also don't like growing in pure coco and it is only about 30% of my mix. I find it dries out too quickly and makes a mess in my tent. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
22. Agreed, if you can't duct out the hot air, not even a portable ac is the right solution. I had a similar setup running 6 x 400w hid and even with a 9000BTU AC ducted out, I was sometimes hitting 31 deg. Hot Air needs to escape outside. PS, my grow was never easier after getting an AC Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
23. Easiest way to to that in my opinion is to place a few wood rods under the floor of the tent, creating an 8mm spacing between floor and pot in my case. I find it's enough to allow for water to run through. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
24. The purchase and sale are still prohibited, however, cultivation is legal, therefor creating an interesting little loop. As long as you keep your orders small, you shouldn't have problems. I just ordered my first batch after much thought around the same topic. I ended up ordering from NL, paid with crypto. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
25. A warm welcome GreenMunchkin., great choice in forums to join :) Tell us about your setup and strains you are growing Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
