So I didn't read all the posts, but here is some input. As previously pointed out, if they are not dying don't stress too much, it just means that changes need to be made. You can grow almost any strain in straight potting soul without any issues. Don't over think it. Currently running about 10% perlite, 40% peat and 50% Garden Master potting soil (flushed not boiled). I guess its more of a personal prefferance. I'm looking to grow the ultimate bud. In an environment I can control, where I'm able to manipulate certain climate changes. I am still very much planting outdoors not with the legalization I've just got tomuch fertile soil I can use. In conclusion The stelth grow is more a hobby than just a means to grow my own. Yeah, outdoor is awesome. Use it to its fullest until govt comes out with their revised bill. I have a couple of potted outdoor plants, but indoor is my day to day smoke. Not quite genetics, but I know what you mean. My daytime cycle runs from 6pm to 6am, making it easier to keep the Temps low during the 'day cycle' the HID lighting lifts the temps whilst on for this cycle. During the daytime, my plants sleep, light is off and ac can do its thing to bring Temps down. There is a lot of info that probably isn't being shared, because we deem it obvious, but once upon a time it wasn't, so keep asking questions and post pics once you start your grow. Some strains are more prone to having a certain colour, however, the Temps play big role. If you control your night time Temps and bring it down to let's say 18deg, you have a good chance of it turning purplish. Some strains more so than others. It's for reflective purposes. It can be done without reflection, however, only your top nodes would swell. The mylar allows for even distribution maximizing yield. Do not use tinfoil hoping for the same result. Flat white is the next beat thing, just plain PVA will do the trick. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

I love this, you may grow, but don't buy seeds, placing us right back on the wrong side of the law. I also won't do Facebook, however it's not because they're pro or anti, it's the information selling and zombie part that gets to me. (saying this while going at it on tapatalk) :) Seed exchange would be great for breeders, also for the forum. I'm sure none of the breeders on here would mind donating a few beans to the forum as giveaways, prizes etc. If I'm not selling, is it frowned upon if I share the love a little? Indoor grows id recommend an indica as beginner, they don't grow as tall, allowing you take make a few mistakes without the plants stretching too tall. Give it a run on bag seed, that way you can grow until you get conformable. Not sure how lisencing works, but there is already a fully operational coffee shop in Jozi... They're over priced, castle lite will set you back R50 a dumpie, outdoor weed will set you back R100/g. It's not ideal, but great place to go when you have no alternatives. Their outdoor will also give you a couple of seeds. Judging by the plants, it's a indica dominant strain, Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

My typa guy! 10 points there why didn't I think of this flip. I know one of the Chinese wholesalers where these are dirt cheep. GIVE THIS MAN A DRAG! I wouldn't suggest using anything other than Mylar or sissalation for reflective material. If car sunscreens use one of those materials then great. If they don't then I wouldn't suggest it Yeah, Mylar is the only thing that doesn't create hotspots. IMO matt white may have better distribution than gloss white, but I could be wrong. LED or CFL. You could perhaps place a few tubes in there, alternatively 2 x 200w CFL. Only issue is, you're not going to get much reflection off the sides, if you stuck mylar on the inside, you're quickly moving towards the same price as a small tent, which is designed to grow in. What's your preferred manner of medicating? I recently got myself an yocan dry herb tank for my vape. Worked well, until it didn't. Got another, same thing, coils die. Latest is a Cloupor Cloutank M4, lasted about 3 days, coil died. Only difference is I'm able to recoil, using slightly thicker coil wire and using the glass schaft from the yocan, it's now operating sweetly at 15W. Loving this device. All time favorite is a joint, but when stock is low, that's not an option.
