Interesting site I came across... I doubt it will work as an after-measure, but I will certainly dabble with this idea. 1. Marigolds. These flowers are colorful additions to landscaping, but they have a distinctive smell that repels mosquitoes and other garden pests, including squash bugs and tomato worms. Marigolds contain a natural compound used in many insect repellents. Plant some marigolds in the garden among your squash, melons and tomatoes or near open windows and doorways where mosquitoes might be tempted to enter. 2. Lavender. About the only insects you see around lavender are bees. They love the flowers, but other bugs stay away. Lavender has a pleasant scent that comes from the essential oils in the leaves of the plant, but the bugs hate it. Hang some dried lavender in your closet and you won’t have to worry about moths eating your clothes. The herb is a perennial and is drought resistant once it's established, a bonus for areas that are watching their water consumption. 3. Lemon grass. Lemon grass can grow up to 4 feet tall, but the best thing about this decorative grass is that it contains citronella, a common natural ingredient in many mosquito repellents. You’ve probably heard of citronella candles and torches. The plant itself does even better at deterring mosquitoes because it has a stronger smell. Lemon grass tolerates heat and drought but not frost. So in most areas, it’s best planted in a pot that can be moved indoors in winter. 4. Garlic. This herb has long been regarded as a deterrent to blood-sucking vampires and werewolves, but it really deters buzzing blood-sucking mosquitoes. Planting garlic around the garden also will ward off other insects and creepy crawlers. Garlic extract sprayed in your garden is harmless to plants, but bugs don’t like that garlic odor. 5. Rosemary. Though you'll want to plant an herb garden for cooking, rosemary repels flies and mosquitoes. It also has a pungent scent that drives away other bugs, including cabbage moths. It does well in hot dry weather, and thrives in containers, so you can set it in various places around the garden. 6. Basil. This herb also tastes great in your favorite dishes but doubles as a bug repellent. Basil’s strong smell keeps mosquitoes away. And if you put a potted basil plant near your picnic table, you won’t have to worry as much about flies either. 7. Catnip. Many cats love catnip, but mosquitoes won’t come near it. In fact, some studies show that catnip is 10 times more effective than DEET, the chemical formally known as N,N-diethyl-meta-toluamide and found in most commercial insect repellents. Roll up a few catnip leaves and rub them on your skin. The bugs won’t bother you, but the neighbor’s cat might. Catnip grows almost anywhere, and it will spread in your garden. So growing it in pots is best. 8. Petunias. These annuals add a bright splash of color to any landscape, but the funnel-shaped blossoms also have a licorice-like scent that repels many insect pests, including aphids, tomato hornworms and squash bugs. But do keep an eye on these flowers because other crawly garden pests are attracted to petunias, including slugs and caterpillars. 9. Mint. Who doesn’t like the taste of mint? It’s a beautiful plant that smells and tastes great to people, but ants and mice absolutely hate it. It can spread quickly in the garden and is hard to remove, so you might want to keep it in a pot. Put some containers of mint around your patio or in your garden, and it will ward off other insects, including mosquitoes. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

They seem very happy so far, will update grow log on Sunday. Highest Temps I've had since the change is 27 deg. Coverage is great, I'm already planning a version 2. I want to find out what a solid pice of aluminum sheet will cost me instead of using the strips, which will allow for even heat distribution. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

I'll definately give that a try concidering most of my currently flowering ladies will be used for seeds. The bud that I do get out of it can all go to edibles. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

What recipe are you using? I don't think you'll be able to get the 'gummy bear' texture perfect due to all the artificial crap they add to it. Here is what I managed to find. 2/3 Cup Fruit Puree, Thawed 1/3 Cup Water 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice 3 Tablespoons Gelatin 2-3 Teaspoons Cannabis Tincture (depending on desired potency) Granulated Sugar Medicine Dropper/Condiment Bottle, Cleaned Silicon Molds/Baking Dish, Sprayed w/ Cooking Spray Instructions In a medium saucepan, add the fruit puree, water and lemon juice and cook on medium-low heat until thoroughly incorporated After thoroughly combined, add 2-3 teaspoons of your cannabis tincture, whisk well Slowly add three tablespoons of gelatin, continually whisking until smooth Remove from heat then use a medicine dropper or clean condiment bottle to add the mixture to silicon molds or baking dish Place filled molds/dish in the refrigerator to chill for about 15 minutes Remove gummies from molds or cut into bite-sized pieces Toss gummies in granulated sugar to keep them from sticking together (add a little citric acid to your sugar at this point if you want sour gummies) Store in an air-tight container in a cool, dark location for up to 2-3 weeks. That is quite awesome. Personally I believe that if you have low temp challenges, you need to add more light :) Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

12v will connect gnd (black) and the yellow wire. Red is 5v, which is ideal to power arduino sensors. Here's a link for the 'paperclip' trick to power the psu. https://www.wikihow.com/Check-a-Power-Supply Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

Most cars now have pollen filters, figured I would just get one that meets the size requirement and use a makeshift box for it where my intake can connect to. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

I haven't got a filter on mine, however I'm not brining in outside air. I have noticed some minor dust in the tent though. Will look into this as I've been thinking of installing a pollin filter to avoid accidental pollination. I noticed my neighbours have outdoor plants which sparked this thought. Pest Control and Biological ways to control them.

What a trying grow this has been. Gnat infestation, followed by aphids and now thrips. In all the years of growing, I have never experienced how cruel mother nature can be. She has a twisted sense of humour :( I'm going to have to look at predatory mites, both my tents are infested, veg and flower. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk -
I'm going to say about 14 days, however, it depends at what size you first spotted the balls. I think I may have a few that will pop around Sunday-ish. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

Correct, Dischem, Biosil is 20ppm, where as silver labs is 18ppm. Ita on the shelves, generally used as like an immune booster of sorts. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

Judging by the size of some of these, they should open in the next few days. I have selected a few females to cross with which are ready and waiting to be pollinated :) C99 will obviously be the only pollinator... Strains awaiting ball popping: Pineapple Express (unknown genetics) Sour Diesel (unknown genetics) Mango Kush (unknown genetics) Bruce Banner (@greenkush genetics) GSC x BB (@greenkush genetics) GDP X BB(@greenkush genetics) Gorilla Glue (unknown genetics) Royal Gorilla x BB (@greenkush genetics) Cinderella 99 (G13 Labs) - 3rd generation Other strains are still to young to capitalize on the fem pollin and will have to wait for the next round, however, it may be a while... Spot on, many growers actually trim the tips of the leaves to allow more focus on the roots and less on the leaves. Personally, I leave one fan leaf and the new growth. I don't generally cut the tips unless it's a space issue in my dome. I don't like the leaves touching each other too much. Gel, powder and peat pellets. Make sure the water you soak in is correct ph, dip cutting in gel and then in dynaroot no2. 12 days from snipping to transplanting, some of the eager plants can be transplanted after 10 days. If my clones haven't rooted within 14 days, they are disposed of. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

Yes this is for feminized seeds, the CS is absorbed through the foikage which causes the flowering. It is not due to stress, so your risk of hermies is directly related to your growing environment and will not be due to the CS Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

Durban poison if you can find it is spot on. C99 also a clear high Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

If your plants are strong, they're more of an annoyance than from a severe damage perspective. Others may be able to give you better ways of getting rid of them than me. They lay eggs in your soil, I did a complete soil change / root wash to get rid of mine Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

Extremely happy with the outcome. Total cost was perhaps closer to R1100 than the original estimate, but size is perfect for my 1200 x 700 veg tent. Frame Temps relatively low, running 4 x fans (2 x 12v & 2 x 220v). Definately not my last build... @Totemic, I'll let your Chocolopes be have the final say on light quality :) Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

My Temps in 1.5x1.5 running 10 x 100w COBs is around 24 deg average. That said, this is the single biggest unit I've built to Date, will hopefully get it into my 1200 x 700 veg tent tonight. Still busy with finishing touches.. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

12v portion connected, tested and working. 5 x 50w and 2 x fans. Now for the 220v portion of the build... Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
