What problem ? The tiny bit of yellowing?
-
Off spring from one of my breeding projects, I aim purely for high THC content.

Leaf curl.

Get it to 65 roughly.

Standard photo periods need down time for respiration, auto's have however adapted to climates were there is an abundance of light, a stable auto can grow under 24/0, the question really boils down to whether its worth the extended energy bill. In all honesty its very unlikely you will see a difference between the two.
-
Something is not happy in your environment, check your RH it may be too low.
-
I know many people who veg under 24/0, personally I don't because I've yet to see any meaningful speed growth. Allowing the plants some down time is also good. Personally I do 18 /6 have for many years and don't plan to switch.
-
Yep that is kinda the reason why I did not switch due to grid stability. If I'm still in the country next year I'll be looking at going off the grid entirely.
-
No idea you'd need to trial it and see, I was planning to switch to RDWC later this year. But it's a lot of effort.
-
Yes that would be me, you're welcome.

Darcy friction factor formulae furthermore you're using pump's which gives off more heat. So the only way you're going to do it is either get a aqua chiller or keep chucking frozen 2L coke bottles into your res.
-
Good luck with that :), in summer it won't make the slightest difference, if you cut corners you are going to be sorely disappointed and you'll have some nice sludge roots courtesy of Phytophthora among others.
-
You forgot a critical component, water chiller.
-
You know you don't need to waste energy like that? 18/6 would be more than sufficient.

Could not watch the video, the melanoma type lesion on his scalp had me distracted.

LOL - AcidAlice, if you're in JHB I can help.

Anyone have any experience with Hortimix powder
greenkush replied to Grow for the love's topic in Indoor Growing
My friend swears by this stuff now, and his results show it works. I might grab some just to do a control test, 1 - Green house powder feed, 1 - Bio (fish/bloom), 1 Horitmix. -
I've been having issues with heat, this light is currently only running at 400 watts, which is pretty intense for the size of the plants and I've also lowered it this morning. The picture makes it look high from the plants but its about 30cm if not less. Also I would advise against any form of bar heaters, elements are red and while it may not put off any visible potential light, I can't really say for sure. I would rather look at getting a reptile ceramic light, it emits not light what so ever and does not get red hot. It's purely designed not to disrupt their nocturnal habits.
-
You could try lowering it slightly and see how the plants react

How high are the lights?

Windburn is another option yes.
