Newbie Grower in desperate need of advice
greenkush replied to CandiceFerGreen's topic in Introduce Yourself
Ask thine questions. -
Do you have ample fan circulation in your grow area?
-
Yes the explanation was a bit off, I know that vendors that I use will not accept externally purchased cylinders (hence I was referring to the servicing if you go this route). Bottles "rented" from them however they will replace as you stated. I buy lots of gas I know how the process works.
-
Okay 100kg is much bigger. Purchasing is fine and all, but then you need to be disciplined to get it serviced every year.

First grow - Humboldt Seed Organization Genetics
greenkush replied to Zaskar09's topic in Grow Diaries
Some will claim its mutation, some will say pH, etc. Best to wait until you have a few nodes and judge then. Also perhaps check your pH that it's not swinging. I'm very careless with seedlings, I feed water direct from the tap with no shits given. -
That deposit is insane, my propane 50Kg bottle was 800 and the c02 was around the same price.

My humboldt seeds are doing the same thing, I wouldn't worry about it. -
4.20R per day rental, 800 deposit if i remember correctly, 300 rand refill mygas.co.za

Ah okay cool. Well we will see how it goes keep your journal updated.
-
What strain are they?
-
Wait until the plant shows you need nutrients, that soil is packed with slow release fert, the plant has a few weeks worth of nutrients. So I'd wait until things present themselves.
-
Yeah they do, well I hope they stay that way. @Nikkel DO not feed any nitrosol at all for a few weeks.
-
Get rid of those bark chips, they're going to cause you a lot of pain. I really don't want to be the one to tell you this, but planting into that compost is going be extremely hot for the seedling, you may find that it could potentially die.
-
Deficiency, possibly nitrogen.
-
I soak in water I put in paper wet paper towel into zip lock bag, I then place bag on top of my fibre router (it gets hotter than my wireless ) I then place into pot with soil and add light I do not place them into a dome either, I am in jhb as well, I mist them once a day if i remember and that's it.

Environmental factors will influence gene expression, you can read up on allele's and their role in gene's / expression. From what I could read from the screen shot, it sounds like a bunch of pseudo-science rubbish based off very big assumptions with very little to no basis in scientific fact. If they however did trial runs and published their findings in a journal I'd love to read it. If they however have some how discovered to trigger a survival trait in their plants to express primarily female chromosomes then its a different story (but I highly doubt they did).

Exactly. Interesting read : https://www.pnas.org/content/105/31/10847

Can you please share your peer reviewed articles on this subject matter ? I'm assuming you read this : https://www.jstor.org/stable/2469863?seq=8#metadata_info_tab_contents

What is your preferred extraction method ? Shortest path distillation or simple soxhlet closed extraction or more the BHO route?
-
Because people generally want the purer extract without the plant matter, some people use the oil sublingual as well.
-
But everything has a shelf life Anyways good luck with your grow.
-
FYI - Fish Mix - Bio Bizz × 1Bio Bloom - Bio Bizz × 1Bio Grow - Bio Bizz × 1 Was a waste Bio - Grow = Soil Fert Bio - Fish = Hydroponic type fert (coco, none composted soils) You don't use the fish and grow together
-
Then pry do tell what you bought a soil probe for?
-
Anything Mars is rubbish.
-
A soil moisture probe? You know your finger does the same thing right? and its free.
