  1. I'm running two 600 watt drivers, 2 x 40watt extraction fans, 1x mist maker, And I'm barely around 10amps on the socket, mine are rated at 20 per plug. You do not need a dedicated circuit breaker.
  2. Are your seeds sold in original breeder packs?
  3. Did your PH-80 not come with a sample packet of the KCI solution? If not just get this : https://designerwater.co.za/product/hm-digital-ph-electrode-storage-solution/
  4. @420SA I'm running two of these in my tent : https://www.futurama.co.za/150mm-6-desk-clip-fan/ they push a decent amount of air.
  5. They look stressed, rather get them in the shade with morning sun. Growing outdoors i'd grow in nothing less than 20-40L pots.
  6. Ah, i'll try and find some pvc pipe for that.
  7. Cool will see if I can find some flat plastic rack or something, not about to start lifting the tent:P Is the purpose to keep the roots warm? I run my lights at night, not during the day.
  8. Transplant day and now running 3 of the panels.
  9. This is subjective, lots of people state do not count by the leaves but by the size. In any event I'll keep vegging till I am happy with their growth.
  10. Thanks I've resolved the issue already.
  11. This is precisely the reason I'll keep my carbon filter attached.
  12. At what point do you guys usually begin the veg week counter? I've seen people say usually after the first 2 weeks as that is considered seedling, then some say after the second set of leaves.
  13. Plants are finally bouncing back after their bout of what I believe was a combination of : Nutrient lockout, calmag def. I flushed with 5.8 ph water and calmag, they're getting to the stage of their final transplant so waiting for gthydro to get stock of the FF soil and will be moving them into 20-40L pots have not decided yet. On a side note I added one gorilla zkittle and saw that its sprouted its tap root this morning so i'll be potting it later today.
  14. Yes thanks I already bought a HM yesterday:)
  15. Yep then i'll pick up some of this next week : https://designerwater.co.za/product/hm-digital-ph-electrode-storage-solution/
  16. 1 day, postnet to postnet. As they're based in gauteng.
  17. I just went and bought http://hmdigital.com/product/ph-80/, decided rather just get a decent one that lasts (hopefully).
  18. I prefer to adjust my water, I use regular tap water and it tastes like i been sucking on a lime stone. i.e. its alkaline as hell. That being said I do hear what your'e saying regarding the pen vs liquids.
  19. So can anyone advise on which they prefer pen/strips/liquid. I tripped last night in the dark and somehow managed to throw my pen in the air, knocked against the wall, did a double backflip into a bucket of water. So its fucked. Now it was a cheap garbage 200R job. Now i find myself on the market for a new one, I really don't feel like forking out 900R for a new pen, I could get another 300R job, but am wondering if anyone has just tried those standard pool test kits for a rough range on their ph.
  20. Get a peat or coco based growing media and just add some perlite, I know the nursery near me has both.
  21. I also believe I have cal-mag, went to GT hydro to complain they need to stock it and they keep it on the shelf, they didnt want to say why they don't advertise it. Picked up 1KG for R50.
  22. Bought from a local seed bank for the first time (trophy) and it went pretty smooth.
  23. You may want give some bloom nutes.
