I know this is an old thread, but these are some sativas from seeds that locals gave me - I dubbed them sativa Maximus! from 2016

So, you see in a few photos were the leaves are curling upwards at the edges, this is called canoeing, and happen when the plant is very hot. If move them to the shade you’ll see the leaves will go back to normal. @Hochymama did make a good suggestion with the shade cloth as this will also protect them when there is hail and from some insects. It would also help with the sun a tad.... that being said @Totemic is also right, because I do the same. My seedlings are outside while I’m at work all day and they survive! But if you’re worried you should add some mulch (maybe perlite) to the top of your soil in attempt to keep the soil cooler... you can also provide insulation for the pots so that they don’t over heat and cook the roots, this will also help preserve the micro organisms in the soil from cooking. But the plants, with enough nutes and water, should be fine! But if your worried about it the cover the babies up! I don’t think it will harm them. At the end end of the day you should make a decision and go with it. Maybe try one with shade cloth and try one without - we live and learn! Everyone is different good luck!

We are also made up of some ridiculous percentage of water, and I find it very calming and relaxing. Somehow waterfalls draw me and friends in. That’s why these are my favorite spots to medicate! Interesting to hear what everyone smokes! A bit jealous of those out there without a limit :P . I smoke a tiny pipe around twice a week, if with friends it’s hard to tell - many bongs and joints haha. I used to smoke a lot more, but it got too much and I’ve cut down a lot! I smoke for relaxation, creative ideas and for enjoyment!

@YourStonedBuddy sorry to hear mate :( it’s never great loosing a loved one! Did the soil dry out completely at any stage? Or was it simply too hot? Any recovery?

Pleasure! I don’t think the rooting gel will work the same as mycoroot, haven’t tried it. Mycoroot helps a fungus form on the roots of the plant and forms a symbiotic relationship with the plants - really works like a bomb! Oh good choice, fabric pots are great! I did a comparison of the roots from a normal pot v a fabric pot and there is an undeniable benefit in the fabric pots! Just a tip, try keep the pot off the ground with two plants or the likes because all sorts of fungi can grow on the bottom - I haven’t had a bad one yet but I could imagine they are out there! So getting air under there helps! I haven’t run a Pachamama from start to finish yet, as to the yields I cannot say. I’m also running them for the first time! I’ll start a diary sometime! I’ve done Dinafem etc. with autos, all I can say is don’t expect a large yield- especially the first few grows because you have to perfect the process. Their veg time is so short that any set back can stunt the growth, unlike with a photoperiod where you can recover due to long veg growth cycles. My first auto grow I averaged at about 40-60 grams a plant. cool! I’ve used organicide pesticide with success, just remember not to go too heavy on the dosages! Also, the best cure is prevention, so you may want to spray the plants every Now and again (depending how hectic your area is with bugs etc) I went with a preventative spray once a week and it worked quite well. I haven’t used fungicide, just pesticide. Just don’t burn em! I’m subbed up, keen to see how your grow goes!
