  1. I know this is an old thread, but these are some sativas from seeds that locals gave me - I dubbed them sativa Maximus! from 2016
  2. Staunch plant! What did the wife say?
  3. Ohhh looking great! Stoked to see the fruits of your labour! An welcome
  4. @Breadinator welcome and best of luck for the grow! Its always exciting doing your first grow... that being said every grow I start I feel like a kid before Christmas
  5. So, you see in a few photos were the leaves are curling upwards at the edges, this is called canoeing, and happen when the plant is very hot. If move them to the shade you’ll see the leaves will go back to normal. @Hochymama did make a good suggestion with the shade cloth as this will also protect them when there is hail and from some insects. It would also help with the sun a tad.... that being said @Totemic is also right, because I do the same. My seedlings are outside while I’m at work all day and they survive! But if you’re worried you should add some mulch (maybe perlite) to the top of your soil in attempt to keep the soil cooler... you can also provide insulation for the pots so that they don’t over heat and cook the roots, this will also help preserve the micro organisms in the soil from cooking. But the plants, with enough nutes and water, should be fine! But if your worried about it the cover the babies up! I don’t think it will harm them. At the end end of the day you should make a decision and go with it. Maybe try one with shade cloth and try one without - we live and learn! Everyone is different good luck!
  6. Great start..those medi bombs have nice, fst leaves!
  7. Shaman, definitely following this one. Lambs bread is a famous strain! Keen to see the results. Good luck!
  8. Gonna enjoy this one, keen to see them fly
  9. Healthy and Lush, good job!
  10. Sup Ladies n Gents, Everyone has got some cool spots to medicate at When I medicate I love to do so in nature, especially near water, I think it helps to reconnect with Mother Nature and appreciate the beauty of what’s around us! We are also made up of some ridiculous percentage of water, and I find it very calming and relaxing. Somehow waterfalls draw me and friends in. That’s why these are my favorite spots to medicate! Water + nature + THC & CBD = health and happiness! First up, the Drakensburg - Tiger Falls! And a picture from the hike up there! Second up, Karkloof falls
  11. Welcome @Bainman looking forward to seeing how your grows go along! Best of luck
  12. Thank Toby! Looking forward to it @Toby
  13. Hahah that’s wild, in the best of ways! Would’ve been an epic tattoo, what stopped you?
  14. Off off to a great start! Can’t wait to see where it goes, definitely sticking around...good luck!!
  15. Interesting to hear what everyone smokes! A bit jealous of those out there without a limit :P . I smoke a tiny pipe around twice a week, if with friends it’s hard to tell - many bongs and joints haha. I used to smoke a lot more, but it got too much and I’ve cut down a lot! I smoke for relaxation, creative ideas and for enjoyment!
  16. @YourStonedBuddy sorry to hear mate :( it’s never great loosing a loved one! Did the soil dry out completely at any stage? Or was it simply too hot? Any recovery?
  17. Pleasure! I don’t think the rooting gel will work the same as mycoroot, haven’t tried it. Mycoroot helps a fungus form on the roots of the plant and forms a symbiotic relationship with the plants - really works like a bomb! Oh good choice, fabric pots are great! I did a comparison of the roots from a normal pot v a fabric pot and there is an undeniable benefit in the fabric pots! Just a tip, try keep the pot off the ground with two plants or the likes because all sorts of fungi can grow on the bottom - I haven’t had a bad one yet but I could imagine they are out there! So getting air under there helps! I haven’t run a Pachamama from start to finish yet, as to the yields I cannot say. I’m also running them for the first time! I’ll start a diary sometime! I’ve done Dinafem etc. with autos, all I can say is don’t expect a large yield- especially the first few grows because you have to perfect the process. Their veg time is so short that any set back can stunt the growth, unlike with a photoperiod where you can recover due to long veg growth cycles. My first auto grow I averaged at about 40-60 grams a plant. cool! I’ve used organicide pesticide with success, just remember not to go too heavy on the dosages! Also, the best cure is prevention, so you may want to spray the plants every Now and again (depending how hectic your area is with bugs etc) I went with a preventative spray once a week and it worked quite well. I haven’t used fungicide, just pesticide. Just don’t burn em! I’m subbed up, keen to see how your grow goes!
  18. Here some pics from my grow - just don’t use see through cups like me because I had to black them out afterward to block lights from the roots as per the advice of an experienced grower! i hope you get the idea now
  19. @Trailblazer420 Hehehe checkers! But yeah, beware of root restrictions as Batista said - happened to me and it sucked. I read the roots would just break through, but it takes long, and stunts growth - especially in autos. Dude it could have been a snail - just prop the lady back up and you should either get snail pellets or your gonna want to wrap copper wire numerous times around the pot or the stem (if doing stem just beware that it does not restrict the stem), if yu havent aready get yourself some neem oil for preventative spraying as a good natural pesticide! As you may have read, autos don’t like transplanting because their veg time is so short that the shock may stunt them. That being said you can transplant them, just make extra care not to disturb the roots! Try not transplant the autos too much. The photoperiods are all good for transplanting and I agree with what Batista and trailblazer420 have said, go up with size and how comfortable you are! Youre off to a good start ! Keep it up.
  20. Basically you cut the inner pot so that the roots can grow out of it when you put it in the ground, but enough to support the soil when moving it out of the outer pot. hope it was clear enough!
